Workwiki that functions but has room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to scale and keep tabs on other departments. I feel like I know what’s going on inside my company thanks to confluence. I also feel like I can catch up on a meeting I missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finicky UX/UI. Someone will be taking meeting notes, go to tag someone, misspell the name, then get totally thrown off and have to backspace a hell of a lot. It’s also not overly visual. Sometimes I have to hunt for something I know is in confluence but is tucked away under several subtopics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified national synchronization and understanding of operations. Taking meeting notes in an orderly and consistent way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get comfortable with it and orient your entire team to it first.

A lot of information can be stored and the easy-to-use interface
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s really easy to lose yourself in the trees of pages and deleting pages 1 at a time can be quite difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Discovering old pages can be really tough without a bookmark
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure the administrator has very good communication skills because a lot of tasks require admin approval.
Ubiquitous, good enough, integrates with JIRA

Convenient collaboration among coworkers, having good feedback mechanisms and integration with JIRA
What do you dislike about the product?
Easy to create chaos of too many docs, and lose the content you're looking for. Can't find related content well. Especially with projects where several people have created documents over years, you wind up with a swamp. Need help creating an information architecture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative editing of specs/requirements documents/meeting notes, general collective memory, integrated with JIRA

Look at using it with JIRA And other products in the ecosystem from Confluence and partners as part of assessing the overall value.
Great Place to Post discussions and Transfer Knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to update web pages, can be updated very similar to word or google docs. Has nice integration to other online software and images work will in the application
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be hard to search for things at times. the structure can be tricky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge transfer and storage, group projects and part tracking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this software, it was a great place for us to document decision making processes

I like its comfort and its interface giving a seriousness to the site for its improvement in the work.

I do not like his work dynamics since more information is required than can be entered

You see an increase in product customers to the creation of the website with the dynamics of transformation of our company

You can not really say that there is something that I do not like about the software, but I would have to improve its aesthetics
Confluence Is Amazing For Team Documentation Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Confluence can integrate with Jira to pull in real-time reports and data, while also being a hub for team documentation storage and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the widgets could be more configurable, it's hard to build tables, and it's hard to get some people on to the platform and actually use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to build an entire reference library for our position, breaking up learning by hard and soft skills, and making the library searchable and with an index.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have someone dedicated to learning how it is configured and invest the time in educating your team and building the area.
Kind of annoying
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to get information out to a large audience via a means other than email
What do you dislike about the product?
The audience isn't always set correctly, which of course is a user issue. However, the updates hitting your email if you don't have the settings correct is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Area to store information for a wide audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to have correct user groups updated and have information available for users to apply person settings
Team Site
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have a team site for all of the company to view
What do you dislike about the product?
My team is just now getting familiar with the benefits of confluence. Nothing to dislike right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving our Support team site from google sites to confluence. This allows our team to be better coordinated with our product and engineering teams
Great for storage, but not great for version control
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to build directories, add, and delete items
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to capture version control. Moving items is a little tricky. Drag and drop would rock

Storage, team management of documents, forms, and processes.
