Ubiquitous, good enough, integrates with JIRA

What do you like best about the product?
Convenient collaboration among coworkers, having good feedback mechanisms and integration with JIRA
What do you dislike about the product?
Easy to create chaos of too many docs, and lose the content you're looking for. Can't find related content well. Especially with projects where several people have created documents over years, you wind up with a swamp. Need help creating an information architecture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative editing of specs/requirements documents/meeting notes, general collective memory, integrated with JIRA
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at using it with JIRA And other products in the ecosystem from Confluence and partners as part of assessing the overall value.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to update web pages, can be updated very similar to word or google docs. Has nice integration to other online software and images work will in the application
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be hard to search for things at times. the structure can be tricky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge transfer and storage, group projects and part tracking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this software, it was a great place for us to document decision making processes

What do you like best about the product?
I like its comfort and its interface giving a seriousness to the site for its improvement in the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like his work dynamics since more information is required than can be entered
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You see an increase in product customers to the creation of the website with the dynamics of transformation of our company

You can not really say that there is something that I do not like about the software, but I would have to improve its aesthetics

Confluence Is Amazing For Team Documentation Storage

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Confluence can integrate with Jira to pull in real-time reports and data, while also being a hub for team documentation storage and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the widgets could be more configurable, it's hard to build tables, and it's hard to get some people on to the platform and actually use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to build an entire reference library for our position, breaking up learning by hard and soft skills, and making the library searchable and with an index.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have someone dedicated to learning how it is configured and invest the time in educating your team and building the area.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to get information out to a large audience via a means other than email
What do you dislike about the product?
The audience isn't always set correctly, which of course is a user issue. However, the updates hitting your email if you don't have the settings correct is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Area to store information for a wide audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to have correct user groups updated and have information available for users to apply person settings

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have a team site for all of the company to view
What do you dislike about the product?
My team is just now getting familiar with the benefits of confluence. Nothing to dislike right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving our Support team site from google sites to confluence. This allows our team to be better coordinated with our product and engineering teams

Easy to build directories, add, and delete items
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to capture version control. Moving items is a little tricky. Drag and drop would rock

What do you like best about the product?
We can post and share information on Confluence site. Documents can be viewed, updated within your team. You can set levels of access for individuals or groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like is the pages sometimes don't come out exactly as we want. Concurrent updates don't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of many emails sending around, Confluence has everything in one place and captures updates.

Great for collaborating

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to share and find information. Also the concurrent editing functionality in the newer versions is great. Hyperlinking to other pages is good as it makes it easier to find information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating graphs is a bit fiddly with gliffy. Also it's not feasible at the moment to edit documents attached to a page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved systems documentation. Ability to keep documentation up to date as anyone from the team can update pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for collaboration with and between teams. We use it for documenting our systems, so it's easy to keep documentation up to date. The latest versions have had significant improvements (eg pages can now be edited by multiple people at the same time) so I'd recommend keeping up to date with latest versions.
