Product Manager best friends and great integration with JIRA
What do you like best about the product?
I used confluence in my last few starts up and these are great for quick for writing product development, uploading of wireframe, collaboration and integration with JIRA.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limited support for tables formating. Only support basic table design and cannot customize table. Lots of improvement for the search. It is difficult to find content using search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation and developing product requirement
Slow
What do you like best about the product?
It's very feature rich. You can do a lot of things with it that you can't really do in other products like it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very slow. Even the cloud version they have is slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation of api's
Team collaboration without effort
What do you like best about the product?
— Centralization gives the team a single source of relevant information.
— Centralization enables documents to be detached from individuals and teams, which can increase accuracy.
— Centralization also allows your teams to know where to look when they are working on incident resolution, saving them brain cycles at 3am when a server goes down.

What do you dislike about the product?
The decision from part of the Atlassian team to remove the markup mode from Confluence and decide to leave only WYSIWYG mode... the UI and Design is so bad that I try to use it as little as possible.
The fact is, the UI is difficult to intuit. The support site does not include enough visuals to help with explanations. I don't understand why the support sites entries fail to include adequate visuals when attempting to explain any Atlassian product, especially since the difficulties are with the visual aspect and workflows.

Confluence is a wiki, allows anyone to create and edit pages, and keep track of changes. It is a very powerful tool with many characteristics, here I only include those that I consider the most used.
Being an Atlassian tool, the JIRA link is complete, allows you to copy and paste content, include JQL filters, or even create JIRAs from the page itself.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence is a great collaboration platform and wiki, but it takes more than a great tool to ensure successful knowledge management. Remember that it depends on the people who use it and how much they love their collaboration platform, and how they can benefit from the content provided there. This is vital to making your collaboration platform a success, and motivating users to contribute and share their knowledge.
It's what you make of it.
What do you like best about the product?
contribute and edit to your liking and easy to access/navigate
What do you dislike about the product?
huge. the more its used the more resources it takes. unless you're on the cloud, and that's not without its own faults, you have to wait a bit once you're fully contributed and just adding info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
training. don't need a know-it-all anymore.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
partition by folder option to reduce loading.
Confluence worked alright
What do you like best about the product?
When I used confluence I liked how I would get email alerts whenever someone commented on one of my projects - it made it easy to stay on top of updates even if I couldn't login right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
The chains of comments became very long and unmanageable. It was difficult to keep track of updates within Confluence because the chains were just so long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Confluence as a collaboration tool which allowed us to communicate with one another regardless of where everyone lived.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have found other tools that work better for what I need but it is definitely a basic tool that could help you.
Confluence review
What do you like best about the product?
i like that it links with jira, and lots of widgets
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing as of now, maybe later will have
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
just to be more organized and that it links with JIRA
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Users are always notified when a document relative to you is changed - great for project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ui could use some improvement. Relatively easy to use but if I were to notpick could be a bit more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation for software and implementation.
Great for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Really enjoy how easy it is to manage permission, share data, information, and track progress as a company and/or teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the prettiest interface. which is certainly not a huge factor considering the functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to document processes, research and plan out projects, and create workflows all in the same place. By creating team spaces and company pages, we're able to keep everything transparent with everyone on the same page.
Great Platform, Daunting at First Sight
What do you like best about the product?
Spaces are a feature that allow us as a company divide our "wiki" into departments. This allows the flexibility and organization required out of an internal database.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence seems to throw too much at you too fast. As a new employee relying on confluence to inform my decisions on benefits, understand protocols, and other important things it was tough to attune to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized HR documentation, modernizing our internal wiki, and providing visibility to upcoming projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Review the interface and ensure it is a good fit for your team.
