What do you like best about the product?
Jira Confluence by Atlassian has proven to be an essential platform for team collaboration, documentation, and knowledge sharing. As part of the Atlassian ecosystem, it integrates seamlessly with Jira, making it especially valuable for software development, project management, and cross-functional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
While basic features are easy to grasp, mastering templates, macros, and advanced formatting options can be overwhelming for newcomers. It’s not always intuitive for non-technical team members.

Multiple users can edit pages simultaneously, and changes are tracked with a robust version history. Inline commenting and mentions foster collaboration and keep discussions contextually linked to the content.

What do you dislike about the product?
While it’s a great tool, it can feel a bit complex at first. Finding the right page sometimes takes a few extra clicks, especially if your space isn’t well organized. Also, when there’s a lot of content, loading can slow down a bit.

Confluence helps us solve the chaos of scattered information. Before, our project notes, SOPs, and ideas were all over the place, emails, docs, chat threads. Now everything lives in one central hub, so the whole team stays on the same page. As a Customer Support Engineer, I appreciate how easy it is to track tickets, document internal solutions, and collaborate with teammates across different departments. The interface is clean, and search functionality helps me quickly find older issues and knowledge base articles. Integrations with tools like Jira and Slack are also very useful for daily operations.

Collaborative documentation tool
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve used it to create and maintain internal knowledge bases, SOPs, and technical guides for both support and engineering teams. I’m familiar with organizing content using spaces and pages, embedding media, linking JIRA tickets, and using templates to standardize documentation. It helped improve cross-team communication and ensured that information was easily accessible and up-to-date.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Confluence is a powerful tool for collaboration and documentation, one thing I find challenging is its search functionality. Sometimes it’s difficult to find older or deeply nested pages unless the content is well-tagged or consistently structured. Additionally, the editor can occasionally feel limited or clunky, especially when working with tables or more complex formatting. However, these are manageable with good page organization and consistent team practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the problem of scattered or siloed information by providing a centralized space where teams can collaborate, document, and share knowledge. It benefits me by making it easy to access up-to-date resources, standard operating procedures, meeting notes, and project documentation all in one place. This improves team alignment, reduces repeated questions, and saves time searching for information—especially in remote or cross-functional environments.
Confluence: A Reliable Hub for Team Collaboration and Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Confluence is how easy it is to keep everything organized and accessible for the whole team. The page hierarchy and search features make it simple to find what you're looking for, whether it's project documentation, meeting notes, or onboarding materials. I also really appreciate the real-time collaboration — being able to edit pages together, leave comments, and tag teammates helps keep communication clear and centralized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike about Confluence is that the interface can feel a bit clunky and outdated at times. It’s not always intuitive, especially for new users, and some basic formatting tasks can be frustrating. Additionally, large or content-heavy pages tend to load slowly, and working with tables or media can be somewhat cumbersome compared to more modern tools like Notion or Google Docs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps us centralize all our team knowledge and documentation in one place, which has made a big difference in how we work. Before, information was scattered across emails, shared drives, and chat threads — and it was easy to lose track of things. Now, everything from meeting notes to project plans to onboarding guides is easy to find and update.
It’s also improved collaboration across teams. Being able to comment, tag teammates, and see page history makes communication smoother and more transparent. For a growing team, it’s been a huge help in keeping everyone aligned and saving time.
