Best knowledgebase basics!
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I love about confluence is the stability of how the service works and the ease of its integration with other services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the update of the file takes looooong
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It serves s internal WIKI for all the projects' documentation.
A simple and powerful place to store and publish the documentation
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to share notes and work together with other collegues. I also like to add approvals and choose from a predefined set of templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not possible to write in two at the same time on the same document. Infact there is a locking mechanism with a history version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to keep the documentation well structured and indexed. We also use confluence for technical design documentation (with approvals) and for sprint retrospectives.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the Confluence is we can connect the our documentation table and data with Jira and it will be updated as project progresses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have'nt found any offline version of it, which may be helpfull, if you are working in plane or while travelling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead keeping alot of word document and in multiple location with outdated information, confluence helps us organise our documentation at on place.

Confluence sets no limit to the volume of contents we are able to create as a team.
Secondly, Confluence offers tight security and access controls for our saved content. This is very important to my company, due to the level of sensitive data we have saved on the Confluence platform.
I must also point out that Confluence integrates with a range of the most common applications we use in the course of work. This enables and encourages us to make use of Confluence in conjunction with critical third party tools, to improve productivity and work efficiency.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only criticism I could direct at Confluence is that it is not a proper project management tool. However, this criticism isn't valid within the use case of I and my organization, as we have mainly deployed Confluence as a knowledge management platform and integrated it with a standard project management software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence serves as a centralized knowledge base, on which every team member in my department is able to access critical day to day content, necessary for successful execution of their assigned job duties. Our use of Confluence has simplified remote-based collaboration between members of my organization.

Problem: storing informano on product/teams in one accessible place

A robust data management platform, but sometimes hard to manage
What do you like best about the product?
The real-time editing capabilities and collaborative features make it easy for our team to work together on documents, plans, and ideas. One of Confluence's standout features is its intuitive content creation tools. Whether it's creating detailed documentation, meeting notes, or project plans, the platform's editor is user-friendly and allows for rich formatting. The integration capabilities of Confluence are impressive. Seamless integration with JIRA and other tools in the Atlassian ecosystem, as well as a wide range of third-party apps, has streamlined our workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Similar to JIRA, Confluence has a slight learning curve, especially for new users. Confluence's editor is user-friendly, but I find it somewhat limited. Enhanced formatting features could cater to users with more sophisticated document layout requirements. For example, it's quite impossible to manage Excel-like tables in JIRA.

Confluence shines as a knowledge base and documentation repository. The organized space structure and powerful search functionality make it easy to locate and reference information. This has greatly improved our ability to maintain a centralized repository of critical knowledge. Overall, Confluence has emerged as a dynamic and collaborative platform that has revolutionized the way our team creates, shares, and organizes information.
Best workspace ever used
What do you like best about the product?
Able to check out contents like SOP's or company Policies or recent updates. It was easy to create content and update the team mates on confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
while creating new content, it's a little tricky to add few edits . It takes long time to add each edits .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease in accessing contents as theres an option on the dashboard of shortcuts, the one which I have already accessed priorly.
Working together is now made possible by Confluence digital team workspace.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to integrate Confluence with Jira was a huge boost for us and allowed us to come up with one unified solution to gain complete control over our projects. It has a lot of quality features which are easy to use and this makes it easy for us to use it all the times we need to work on a project. We consistently use Confluence as a digital workspace where we get to come together and work closely in ordee to achieve a productive collaboration and communication experience through the project work. Confluence user friendly interface has been giving us easy time by making it easy to navigate through it. The learning curve proved to be simple and short and thats why we were able to implement it really quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have used Confluence multiple times on a daily basis now and we never face challenges in any of these times. We really benefited from the help team who showed dedication in ensuring we achieve the best customer support services.

Confluence has been an outstanding digital team workspace which allows us to keep everyone connected during our tasks. It helps us to work together and deliver our work in a more collaborative way. With Confluence, managing our work has become simple and accurate. Getting everyone on the same page when carrying on our tasks has allowed us to get amazing results from how we get our work done.

Very powerful editor that comes with a lot of in built very useful editor like Software design document, how to, status reports etc
Supports various code sytles like Java, JSON, Javascript, GoLang with syntax highlight in the editor which makes it very visually appealing and useful for developers to create the powerful knowledge base.
Since its from Atlassian, it has a very good integration with Jira for creating the status reports, dashbords etc
Its parent-child relationship between pages, and abilty to create secure pages ie with restrictive access is very useful

Its search, its not providing the very relevant results and have to bookmark a lot of pages
It can suggest and improve the writing using the generative AI which is supported in most of the tools
It should also support question answer styles(like stackOverflow for team) this would reduce a lot of time to find the uptodate and relevant content in efficient manner, this is very important in old and large organization.
