Like building a webpage for your knowledgbase
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate, upload, drop and reorganize and link or build a site map/tree for use for business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar option is not great for laying out your yearly rhythms. It is too small when you print and you can't give a lot of detail. Time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can keep our training documentation in one searchable place and link from one process to another easily. All folks in office can contribute.
Benefits of using confluence
What do you like best about the product?
All team work can be stored in a dedicated space and version controlled. Each team in an organisation can create their own workspace and set appropriate permissions for access. Team members can collaborate using confluence which help them in their day to day work. It provides excellent features such as uploading images, linking to different web pages and also helps to provide review comments on a article published using confluence. This tool is very easy to use and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations of confluence are
1) It provides limited fonts and sizes for text editing
2) Limited background and text colours
2) The pdf export often does not properly capture all of the contents and image files are often cut through and distorted

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is helping teams to create project space and store important business documents and artefacts. Teams are able to collaborate using confluence and solve complex problems. All documents published using confluence are secure and access controlled. It also provides the advantage of integrating with JIRA to fetch relevant data and create reports.
The uniqueness of confluence makes it the most suitable collaboration tool.
What do you like best about the product?
With all due respect, my experience with Confluence has been invaluable. Its marketplace also has some Add-ins that make use even better. As a coder, I really like the way the software allows me to speak out using short codes of Coding and images as clarifications. As such, together with its strong informational role, it becomes a very important device for our milieu. Indeed, atlassian has really built a superb platform for confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the platform itself is good, moving and exporting data to another platform is somewhat complicated. Also, I have experienced storage and data policy as somewhat restrictive for both when it comes to a self-hosted installation and cloud services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had Confluence as a tool that has united all documentation and made communication easier. This makes sure that all the members of the team understand each other and there are no confusion. This means, I will be able to resolve my issues faster and more efficient workflow.
Easy to use and multitude of tools availablity
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, with many functionality available to edit and add documents. To make the document more lively, I can add charts, GIFs, and graphs and have various colour sizes for the text. I can add multiple other apps to the document.

Support is not prompt in some cases and some features are released without proper testing.

Share knowledge and information across the organization by providing a single source of truth.

What do you like best about the product?
The way I appreciate working as a team is through Confluence software that plays this role quite well. We can use different layouts for organizing content, which allows all team members to reach the necessary information. This is a crucial resource which operates like a database on our project documentation and it integrates with other atlassian apps without hassle. Access controls, in particular, are very vital as they limit the access of sensitive information to certain individuals. Indeed, it is a great platform where we are able to do our projects effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Conversely, the administrative tasks may be cumbersome as they are not tailored for customization and user-friendliness. On creating new documents, I find the document format selection rather rigid, thereby slowing down the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has addressed the issue of dispersed knowledge and lack of coordination within my team. It sums up our knowledge and this benefits us in that we save time and improve on the quality of our work. The connective functions of the platform have improved our workflow efficacy; thus, our day to day activities are more easily achieved.

Wide array of features and links that can be created between multiple platforms/tools - streamlines the workload massively.
Addition of plug-ins and add-ons help extend the functionality supported by Confluence, and improves the overall experience.
Recently, the addition of AI agents has seen a massive drive in usage of the platform for documentation and knowledge base applications, training an agent on the content of set pages, helping streamline users' search functionality.

Cannot easily automate linking received emails to a set location in Confluence for tracking of project insights
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lots of ways to communicate knowledge articles, SOPs, work instructions etc that are all in one place rather than in multiple different locations.

What do you dislike about the product?
While it is true that quality often comes at a cost, I personally do not find Confluence to be excessively expensive. However, I have encountered some difficulties with certain templates and pages, as they tend to load quite slowly and can be time-consuming. Additionally, the search function could benefit from some improvements, and editors and publishers may find the platform to be somewhat challenging to navigate at times.

The implementation of Confluence has had a tremendous impact on our work processes, allowing us to quickly and easily disseminate information to our members whenever it is needed. What do you like best about the product?
We as an organization using Confluence from a long time, it is very comfortable tool which helps in documenting various things from PRD to bug monitoring.Confluence makes it easy to track the flow of bug and fix given to it by integrating Jira tickets with it.Being it easily accessible tool , able to look into previously deveoped features and related bug and its fixes in confluence very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing which could be improved is the look and field of the confluence , other than that everything looks fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very comfortable tool which helps in documenting and knowlege sharing various things happening within the organisation, which will record and organize in proper manner.Confluence makes it easy to track the flow of bug and fix given to it by integrating Jira tickets with it.Common Search option makes easier to search with single word in ocean of information added as references by the whole organisation.It is completely reliable, it has good support services.

Confluence offers a lot of optionality when creating documents, for remembering techniques and tools or educating new team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides that cross my mind, but it would be nice to have a built in whiteboarding option. This seems to be the format that Confluence struggles with, so adding their own competitive product might be a good solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence serves as our documentation space, allowing us to save our knowledge in a common space for our team to use. This includes video and written content, as well as tables of our test data and more.

The search feature sometime provide completely irrelevent results

We use Confluence for knowledge sharing where we share every information about a project, for example Architecture document
