What do you like best about the product?
The multi-users feature where you can edit an article altogether in real time and see what everyone else is doing. The security features to only give access to certain articles to certain users. The ability to give access to external users. The macros and multitude of extensions in the articles. The efficiency, It almost never has any outages or issues it never goes down. I use it absolutely every day and it's so useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The intuitiveness, the ease of use could be a little more "dumbed down" sometimes it can be hard to link articles and reference each article. We moved to the cloud version a couple of months ago and the original version of Confluence definitely felt more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having access to articles on how to do troubleshooting and handle day-to-day operations of our homemade tool, mainly. We also have a section of Confluence dedicated only to the development team who makes article giving greater details of new stories implementation, the requirements challenges needs.

Good collaboration program, but there are better out there

  • June 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
That it's paired with Jira as part of the Atlassian product suite. This makes it cost-effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is neither "just-in-time learning" friendly (like Spekit), an LMS (like Workramp or Seismic), good for project management (like Asana or Monday), or really that advanced for a document management tool (like Coda). It's just... okay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our technical teams continue to use Confluence as a knowledge base. But, many of our customer-facign teams (the primary ones that I support) are switching over to just-in-time learning programs like Spekit. If Confluence is solving a problem, it's simply that it's saving us money by not purchasing more licenses for other programs (since we also use Jira heavily).

The place where you always look for documentation

  • May 30, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is one of the Atlision serives you need to create any specifie accout to manage your documentation

Documenations can of any thing

you can create number of pages as progress with your jira ticket and best thing is it directly intrigeted with the Jira tickting tool and your bitbucket

and if you consider the editing part of single it quite faster and convinent to use for all sort of documentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such to dislike in that that

But some time it annoying if you dont arrange your documentations it bit difficult to get the proper documentations

and one thing i dint like is its search engin, the search engin is not that optimized to give the exact results when you are searching for perticullare documant by filtering it with the text
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly it solves the documenations part of our project ...source of truth i can say
