Versatile group project collaboration tool providing centralized workspace for sharing knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great software for team collaboration and knowledge sharing. It has more than 100s of pre-existing templates. It allows easy connections across teams and also provides access controls. It's a very great tool for creating, maintaining and sharing customer-facing knowledge-base articles. Also, one more amazing feature is it syncs well with other attlassian tools like JIRA etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like administration part can be a pain unless one know exactly what roles are correct which makes it a bit confusing. Customization options are little less and certain document formatting options are limited and difficult to use. You cannot set the group or user defaults for email preferences, so users get bombarded by emails whenever any page is updated. Also, confluence's pricing model can be costly for those who need more premium features or integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It puts documentation all in one place. Its real-time editing capabilities is helping our team to work together seamlessly, making updates as needed.

Confluence comes with excellent built-in document management features that empowers my team to save , structure, and distribute documents from a centralized location. This convenience allows members of my team to access vital project information and documentation whenever it is required, thereby connecting our daily workflow to our internal collaboration processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few professionals that I have interacted with, they faced challenges with using Confluence because their teams tried using Confluence as a project management software , even though it primarily functions as a collaborative and documentation hub, that should be integrated with a standard project management software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used primarily as a collaboration and documentation tool , Confluence facilitates teamwork and the sharing of knowledge within my organization. We use it to document project plans, keep track of project-related information, and collaborate on various aspects of team and departmental projects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It acts as a great tool to store all the documents (including the docs created by my team members or other team members) in a unified place.
This way we obviously know where we can find all our documents and prevent panic situation in case of urgent need of a process doc/training material.
Also, when KT sessions are conducted, it has acted as a great tool for creating KT tracker pages using basic HTML skills/pre-defined templates.

Helpful tool for creating and managing pages
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a good internal process-management tool. I like that Confluence has different templates available when you are creating pages along with other features like adding in a table of contents. It really does a great job of formatting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence can be a bit overwhelming. I've found if you don't have your spaces organized, the space can feel rather daunting. It does take a bit of user education to understand the best way to optimize your space so you don't have a bunch of pages living randomly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps me create documents and store them in an easy location for all of my team members to see. This is a tool my company users so we can have visibility into our projects.
Incredibly flexible and intuitive to use
What do you like best about the product?
The different page templates make it easy to find a way to present information in a clear, easy-to-read format. It means it's also consistent across our business. Meeting minutes create action items that can be used to notify members. Reorganising pages or creating a hierarchy is as easy as drag or drop.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a few features with tables that I wish would be easier to use, easy sorting etc while editing the table. The starred pages is under the "Recent" menu, which I would prefer they were more accessible for faster access to the pages I use regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication across teams. We're able to organise projects by defining the clear purpose and background of the project, and link into Jira to easily see outstanding work from our engineering team. It takes the pressure off having to communicate with individual teams - everyone has a single point to access the info they need to know.
