I like the flexibility to upload any kind of doc with any formatting
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very unstructured and open ended. My needs were for technical documentation which is sometimes difficult for people to write so we need to make it as easy as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New and experienced employees can be missing basic knowledge about our products, software, code base and SOPs. Confluence provides a place for us to store documentation for these users to learn about our products, softwares, code base and procedures.
Very organized Documentation platform
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about confluence is that it gives an organised and structured way of keeping all the different kind of documents and different topics that can be viewed under the same panel
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about confluence is initially I felt it was not user-friendly but as and when I went on using the platform, I got used to the environment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is solving a big problem of documentation where a different kind of processes need different kind of documents and they have to be segregated under the specific domain. This helps the user to find the specific documents at the time of urgency.
User friendly platform with a ton of features!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the formatting they offer. It makes documents more organized and professional looking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only difficulty I have is downloading docs as PDFs. The page breaks are often odd and you're left guessing how to reformat the document so it look clean as a PDF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for everything from meeting notes to data tracking to blog post formatting.

What do you like best about the product?
1) Ease of use is one of the unique selling points of confluence. Confluence is very user-friendly and can be easily understood even by a newbie .
2) Multiple options to align and format the content as per your needs .
3) Version control : Possibility to create multiple versions enables the user to continuously update the confluence page as per changing needs . Hence it is agile .
4) Retrieval of older versions , owner details of each version , notifications for changes on the page etc are notable features which enables the user to simultaneously make changes and update the stakeholders on the changes .
5) Access control can enable the user to restrict the access only to self or a group of colleagues

What do you dislike about the product?
1) Ultimately the end user has the onus to update the confluence. If it is not updates , the content might get outdated and may not be relevant anymore in the agile lifecycle .
2) Anyone accessing the confluence might assume the content is deemed to be correct , which is not correct all the times.
3) Simultaneous access to edit the sheet is not available. This restricts only one editor at a time . Simultaneous collaboration is not possible

1) All the product knowledge can be stored in one place thereby avoiding silos
2) All the stakeholders have same information enabling easier alignment
3) Process flows can be stored in confluence for ready access
4) Can be used as an issue tracker during the project lifecycle

What do you like best about the product?
What I love the most about Confluence is the fact that it is so easy to use, considering that it has a vast amount of templates for different documents and projects. This makes it easier to begin any project or work on any document because a lot of people struggle with starting. I also love the fact that it makes it easier to collaborate because of being cloud-based. We can collaborate as a team in real time and if we are working on a project, it helps a lot to have everyone on the same page in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me long to figure out how to group similar documents within Confluence but I eventually figured it out and got the help I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has helped the team mainly with document management, projects, and collaboration. Previously, everything was scattered and it was really difficult to search and find information within the organization, but with Confluence, it is quite easy to manage the knowledge base and have a centralized repository for all documents.
An amazong documentation & tracking tool
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is light on browser, offers amazing collaboration and has great integration with the Gsuite. Literally can do all that just using my phone and not depend on ram intensive vloated softwares like MS Teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial use cases and setup should be more guided, when you start working you are not able to understand the use. Better defined use case guide

Great tool for writing and publishing PRDs. Moreover sharing integration documents and developing different use case guides

We have created our Product repositories on Confluence. It serves as a good knowledge base for the company. It also has good integration with Jira
A good workspace where you can share your ideas with your teammates or colleagues.

It can let you categorise the topics which you want to show in a particular manner. It helps in good productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we can face some challenges regarding it's network issues and slowness apart from that it is very useful in team collaboration.

For a project specific knowledge, confluence is one of the best thing where you can document your overall structure of the business. Some projects may some techniques or technical errors which is not very conventional one. So, that technical knowledge can be documented in confluence. So, every person can refer the identical issues from confluence.
Good Software Solution with a bad Navigation system

Content Management, Flexibility, and Integration
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation and Search are the most confusing aspects of confluence. Often documents get lost in the navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
COnfluence is a great tool to manage content and share with teammates. It also provides multiple integrations like Jira, Whiteboard, Slack, and Figma. All an all a must-have application in IT Industry.
