Create professional records easily with Confluence

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is the perfect tool for you if you appreciate having a well-organized system. With access to an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge base, none of your team has to worry about strange or contradictory sources of information appearing anymore. This also makes it much easier to find specific pieces of helpful info without needing help from anyone else, which is powerful when working collaboratively. Another great thing with this app is that everybody in the company uses it, meaning everyone has equal status regarding finding vital details!
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is a bit sluggish in my web browser, which can ruin the user experience. Furthermore, PDF is currently the only export format available - this may limit users who need more variety when exporting data. I would appreciate it if they increased storage capacity and offered cloud-based options. Lastly, up-to-date documentation that explains all features in-depth could provide greater clarity for new and veteran users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While Jira and Confluence provided our team with an effective means of communication and collaboration, there may have been further benefits to be gained if we had chosen a more comprehensive range of software from one source.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability of the many teams working on our projects to construct runbooks and keep project-specific documentation is confluence's best feature. This is ideal because it allows us to easily access the confluence page for our project if we run into a problem and obtain the necessary information.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are unable to access the page continuously. For instance, if one user addresses access-related difficulties, other users may suddenly lose access. This isn't very pleasant because we have to open a ticket to reaccess the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because we are working on a support project and need runbooks and documentation to refer to when resolving new issues, using confluence has many advantages. When we discover a new ticket, we can quickly navigate to the confluence website, conduct a subject search, and find the necessary page with all the details. The installation instructions for the numerous tools we use daily can also be stored.

The perfect platform to document everything

What do you like best about the product?
As developers, we must document each time we implement a new feature. This is where confluence comes into the picture and using this for quite a while, I can say that it helps us draft a good document for every need like a blog, retrospective, and meeting notes. Also, it's got a draft template for a lot of things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now, from my experience, I've not found any downside as it meets my requirements which gives us an extra idea by giving us ideas through templates and also has a user friendly text editor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As said, it helps us document things that we work on in a standard text and UI-friendly way using tables and many other components. Also, we could use extra plugins that help in good documentation. It's also used for sprint retrospectives and has a few pre-built templates for the same. If you are using JIRA products, then it might be a plus point to use Confluence, as it can be linked to the JIRA items and vice-versa to get statuses and much more information related to it.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence has proven to be most helpful for us in its application of being the source of truth for company knowledge. As a remote company we rely on consistent shared data and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find its integration with Jira to not be very user friendly - I would love an easier widget to import sprint data or to reflect the remaining work I have on a project, within Confluence
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is solving the problem for sharing knowledge, ensuring consistency in our communication and documenting our processes as a team. This proves to be especially helpful when onboarding a new team member.

Confluence doesn't allow free users to publish their pages to the public web.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to store and integrate our documentation with Jira and confluence meets that requirement.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and it comes with a plethora of templates and integrations. You can create well-organized documents in seconds and collaborate with teammates to improve them and publish a finalized version to the entire team can have access to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially it is hard to organize the architecture of the files within the Confluence spaces. After some time using it, you learn the tricks and it becomes easier to organize all the files properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having PRDs under for differentt features and tracking the progress of each task associated with the PRD is impossible to do from another platform such as Google Drive. Confluence keeps all the documents and the hierarchy between them well organized and it also intergates with Jira for progress and bug tracking.

I like the most the:
• rich text options
• all the customisations that can be added
• the fact that it's collaborative
• the notifications when someone edits a page created by you
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes in regards with the Confluence application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps documenting all sorts of documents in depth, having integrations with Jira of course, and with many other softwares.
Bottom line, helps teams document their efforts / projects.

The integration with Lucid network designs and how easy it is to make the documents look very professional
What do you dislike about the product?
The tree structure navigation pane could use some work. It can be hard to organise and structure team folders. Maybe introduce a search feature.

A single site for all our network documentation nad a good place to easily share from

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence in an Organization can be used for various use cases such as Knowledge Base to share the documentation with team members, capture the meeting minutes of important calls, Sprint retrospectives, BRD, Project requirements, etc. Along with default templates that come with Confluence, we can also build our own templates and tweak them based on our requirements. Analytics & Team calendars are good to have features. Integrates well with Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
The features such as building our own templates have limitations w.r.to user macros which can be implemented in the cloud version. Macros functionality can be improved by keeping Integrations with other products as a factor apart from Atlassian applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge base and documentation sharing have been the use case and are solving the problem of team members never knowing any concepts that are shared in Confluence. Sometimes meetings can be skipped since MOM would be captured and action items would also be registered.
