Superb Collaboration and Simplicity, Needs More Table Features
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Confluence for over a decade, and I love how it serves as a central place for storing knowledge, effectively reducing the need for meeting time. I appreciate the mutual editing feature, which enhances collaboration among team members, and the macros, which add a layer of functionality that simplifies our document management process. Overall, the simplicity of using Confluence stands out, making it an indispensable tool in our workflow. Its seamless integration with Jira is also something I find very useful, ensuring our project management tasks are well-coordinated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that Confluence could be improved by adding functionality to tables, such as formulas similar to Excel. Additionally, there is a need for a more customized list of fonts and sizes, along with more customizable sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence as a central knowledge repository, enhancing collaboration, reducing meeting needs, and offering simple mutual editing with macros.
Seamless Atlassian Integration and Frequent Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
integration with the rest of Atlassian stack, ease of use, Rovo, improvements are introduced frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
sub-optimal search, the table component for large tables doesn't work too good. Limits on whiteboards (3 per person?). It's a bit slower than in example Notion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
process and product documentation, dev documentation, status reports, design docs
Versatile Knowledge Base with Great Integrations, But Needs Better Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great tool for building and maintaining a team knowledge base. It supports various content types like pages, live docs, whiteboards, and databases, making it versatile and easy to organize. It integrates well with Jira and Product Discovery, and sharing content internally or externally is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built-in page analytics are too basic and don’t provide enough insight into how content is being used or engaged with. More detailed and actionable data would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps centralize team knowledge and documentation, reducing silos and making information easier to find and share. It improves collaboration across departments and keeps everyone aligned, especially when paired with Jira.
Confluence Keeps Us Organized and Connected with Effortless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Confluence as it makes easy to keep everything in one place. The implementation gets very easy and smooth thanks to the in built AI features . My team uses it for meeting notes, project plans, and documentation, and it is so much easier to find things now. The best part is that it connects perfectly with Jira, so I can link tasks in jira and confluence pages without switching tools. The editor is simple, even if you are not technical, you can create clean pages in minutes. It also has the search feature which gives results with few key words.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything about confluence is very smooth. The only part I believe can be improved is formatting as it gets a bit tricky sometimes when i add tables or images for HLD's or LLD's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has helped our team stay more organized. Before, we had docs scattered across emails, chats, and drives. Now, everything is in one place where everyone can see and update it. It is especially useful when someone new joins the team as they can read through our pages to understand the work flow of the project and get up to speed quickly. It also integrates with Jira so we can easily see the documents when working on any ticket or task and understand the requirement in detail. It has made collaboration much easier and saved us a lot of back and forth communication.
Confluence Centralizes Everything—Finally Easy to Find What You Need
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that it's the single source of truth for everything. We used to have docs scattered in Google Drive, SharePoint, and random folders. Now, if I need a policy, a meeting note, or a project spec, I know it's in Confluence, and the search actually works. It just makes finding info easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editor is infuriating sometimes. I spend way too much time wrestling with the formatting, especially if I'm trying to copy-paste anything. It feels clunky and slow compared to a simple doc editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem it solves is information being scattered everywhere. We used to have things in shared drives, emails, and random personal folders—a total mess. Confluence puts it all in one spot that's actually searchable. The benefit is huge: I don't waste an hour every week hunting for a document and I can trust that the process or policy I found is the most current one.
Excellent Jira Integration and Flexible Editor, But Search Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
deep integration with Jira. as a software developer, it helps link a lot of your story related work together, helps you gain knowledge to documentation that could have been otherwise lost. The editor is flexible, with powerful macros for creating tables of contents, roadmaps, and embedding diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
the search functionality, its not the greatest. many times i have to search for a phrase or word again and again, doing hit and miss on different results to find out a page that i truly wanted in the first place, so it could really work on that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the critical problem of knowledge silos and "tribal knowledge." In any organization, crucial information gets trapped in emails, chat messages, and g-drives with access issues. Confluence creates a durable data asset for the entire company.
Effortless Collaboration and Secure Knowledge Management with Confluence
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes it easy for our team to collaborate on documentation and knowledge management in real time. The integration with Jira streamlines our workflows, while customizable templates help us create project documents, meeting notes, and plans efficiently. Search functionality is robust, and I appreciate the ability to control permissions for different users, ensuring our sensitive data stays protected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editor can be a bit clunky when managing large documents, images, or embedded macros. As our usage has grown, it's sometimes difficult to keep pages organized, and the notification system can result in alert overload for small changes. Additionally, the pricing can become expensive as the team scales up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the problem of scattered documentation and disconnected knowledge sharing within our organization. It provides a single, searchable source of truth for all our project details, team notes, and process documentation, which has drastically reduced time wasted searching for information across different platforms. Real-time collaboration and integration with Jira have aligned our technical and business teams, improving transparency and speeding up project workflows. The result is more consistent communication, better documentation practices, and increased team productivity.
Excellent for Collaboration and Organization, But Editor Can Be Slow
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Confluence is how easy it makes it to organize and share project documentation. The structure with spaces and pages helps keep everything neatly categorized, so information is easy to find later. I also like the collaborative features — multiple team members can edit, comment, or add notes in real time, which saves a lot of back-and-forth over email. The integration with Jira is another plus, since it connects project updates directly with the related documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Confluence is that sometimes the editor can be a bit slow or buggy, especially when working with large pages or multiple tables. Formatting doesn’t always stay consistent, and aligning images or tables can take extra effort. Also, the search feature could be more intuitive — it doesn’t always return the most relevant results when there’s a lot of documentation in the space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps centralize all our project documentation in one place, which makes it much easier for the team to access and update information. With Confluence, everything from design discussions to release notes stays organized and traceable. It also helps new team members quickly get up to speed, since all project details and decisions are documented in one location.
Confluence: The Ultimate Digital Workspace for Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is like a digital workspace for our business where different teams of our company interacts with each other and exchange documents of their departments so, that a proper planning of upcoming projects can be done through virtual meetings and also a shared cloud based notebook can be created.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall features that confluence has little less than MS Word and Google sheets also the person managing this software and working on it should must have good organising skills otherwise all the pages can become messy and time for creating efficient notebooks can also increase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project collaboration and meetings is one of the integral part of our business and with the help of confluence we are able to work on a practical workspace where all teams can interact with each other and discuss about different work related issues. It also help us in shareing the knowledge of each departments with each other.
