Clean and intuitive platform
What do you like best about the product?
The software is very simple. It is easy to use and flexible for users. With the help of templates, you can create documents much faster. It allows you to share feedback, track progress, set deadlines, and organize files seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user interface to be very poor. Document/link uploading could be improved. Multiple users editing the same page at the same time causes it to not work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamwork has improved since implementing Confluence. Our departments communicate more effectively. The exchange of files and feedback makes project management easier.
Confluence is getting outdated
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is pretty easy to use not just for users but also for administrators. I am a user as well as admin for confluence in my org. and i am telling you its very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we try to Migrate to some other services similar to confluence it takes a lot of time to just export our files no matter whether we choose HTML/PDF or XML. So if this gets improved this will help the users a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whatever documents we want to share/create across the organization it will help us and suppose we want to share some document outside it provides the feature to export as a pdf so we do not need to give the outsider the access.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's Hard to migrate to Azure wiki if you want to migrate after using confluence. but we can integrate confluence with azure devops.

Sleek and simple.Can be a bit more visually enhanced.

PI planning,solution pages and feature plannings.

Confluence is one of the best tool to share knowledge and collaboration across team members.
What do you like best about the product?
Currently, I am using confluence to create the engineering specs and share them with other team members, the rich text editor provides various formatting option which you can add to your document and helps it to add clean data points.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we add tables there is no way we can share the link for a given row, so we have to share the text and ask the user to find it in the entire document. Apart from this issue it serves all the purposes.

We are using confluence for creating:

- Engineering specs
- BRD
It is used to store the product designs and task designs and this can be integrated with multiple tools like draw.io etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can no doubt go with confluence if you have large team, additionally you can use Jira to create task. All you have to do is select task and right click on it, it will give you option to create task from within the doc.

we use confluence as a solution repository and articals management where everyone can contribute to knowledgebase. I like how simple it is to use and navigate around.

I do not dislike anything as I never had any issues with this software

As said, we utilize confluence for solutions management, write articals, place for nee releases, so we are doing alot with confluence.
Useful alternative to google drive
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Confluence is integrated with Jira - it makes my life so much easier. I track my tasks and projects on Jira and then link any documents, files, etc with Confluence. I also use it for team collaboration on drafting docs.

It can be a bit pricier than other free versions but it is worth it if you are integrating it with your project management toolsl

What do you like best about the product?
We can create, share, and collaborate on content, add notes and chat conversations to document , and do project and task mgmt through the application.

What do you dislike about the product?
its a great tool and if Atlassian remove some complixty it will become "The tool for Wiki"

Its a internal wiki for us. multiple teams and individuals can create, share and edit document at same time.
its a wiki which manges own version control for update document and provides out of box information like who created and edited document what was change etc.
In short we are using this Confluence space for documentation.

Very efficient tool for team collaboration and centralized workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a very well designed tool by Atlassian, which helps teams to have common workspace with knowledge sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though pros can easily outweigh cons, I personally feel Confluence needs a better way of searching and recently it became little slower for day to day usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As said before, our team use it for managing multiple SOPs or Procedure documents which is commonly used by multiple vendors.

Since we are a tech company we require a lot of brainstorming,phrasing and documenting which can easily be done using Confluence.

What do you like best about the product?
What I Like Most About the Confluence tool is making documentation in a proper format. This is the most amazing tool for any type of document which is created by the user and that documentation will help the new user understand to understand any product that is in development or already made in progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I most dislike about the tool is writing the Test cases documentation manually because automation is not available in this tool. This is the most difficult thing to write test cases manually and executed them manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved the questions related to any type of documentation or attachments which is not applied sometimes in this tool. I think that is the most valuable part of this tool.

I surely recommend the Confluence tool to everyone because it is most useful for the documentation of the product and users will definitely ease the use of this tool with some of its amazing features in the tool.
