Most Convenient Documentation space
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to categorize and document and also link pages to one another. The additional features and templates to best present and collaborate are perfect. Also, I can link confluence to other tools such as Miro, Jira, etc which makes my work very easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing features could get a little more interesting. Significantly, the color scheme, I don't mind if things can get a bit colorful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization uses it for all documentation, and so far, it has helped us to make info available for everyone. The label feature makes it easy for people to find what they are looking for very quickly.
Social media UX made obsolete by remote work norms
What do you like best about the product?
Open source styling and a familiar interface (wiki-type org spaces and content pages). Ease of access to team members' organizational heirarchy. Most functionality is now obsolete because of integrated chat, doc repository, notifications, etc., available in Teams, to which company has switched for most remote communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Heirarchical organization of content is a little clunky. Wish there were more ways to see peer spaces and cross references w/o losing one's place in the trail of breadcrumbs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-company understanding of various initiatives. Cross-team collaboration, especially when contractors have limited access to, say, Sharepoint. Semi-publc interface allows for seamless communication, doc sharing, and planning.
A great product for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Store Important information related to projects; integrate with various plugins; easy integration with JIRA and other Atlassian products. I feel this is an excellent tool for sharing information with different teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
For beginners, they might feel a bit confusing, but once you get going, you will organize different information and collaborate with the team members easily. I wish the tool used AI to suggest the best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We store all types of project documentation. It takes lesser time to find the exact information from the confluence platform. The search functionality is fantastic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just go for it. It will surely make things organized.
Better ways to keep track of documentations
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is one of the very nice tools which helps to make project management and documentation work easier. The ability to integrate the Jira issues while creating a document and the ability to collaborate with the entire team makes it stands out.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a collaborative tool Confluence got a set of very good features. So nothing much to complain about. But when not very convenient to use if you are using some other tools than Jira for project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At our organization, we use Confluence within our software development teams to keep track of all the meeting minutes, project documentation, references & retrospective notes. With the ability to collaborate, we were able to accelerate our productivity across the team using Confluence. At the same time, we could better manage our release notes in Confluence which have the user stories tag to the Jira release versions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Confluence as one of the very good tools for documentation work, especially if you & your team are working in an agile project management environment. The increase in velocity and traceability with collaboration makes Confluence worth the investment.

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a high growth team, context and understanding of the team's past projects is prudent. With confluence, we're able to direct all new hires to our onboarding confluence page
Easy to use remote workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward and simple interface for creating, sharing and collborating on shared documents and knowledge tools. Great for having a single source of "truth" for remote teams to reference and work from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Document formatting isn't the most straighforward and the tools seems to be more geared/developed from engineering POV than other types of document creators. But not a terrible issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully remote teams spread across 5 time zones so having a central source for documentation, planning documents, etc is mission critical. Confluence provides this.
