Confluence for documentation and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to create spaces and work collaboratively with your teammates to complete the design and documentation. Easy to share documentation around. The option to export pages as pdf documents to people who do not have direct access to the page is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting of the documents when people are most used to Microsoft office type of formatting is challenging. It is sometimes difficult to find all the buttons and takes more time to understand because of different icons

If you lack documentation for your environment, it would be the best software to use. Use the cloud-based option, so there is no infrastructure setup required.

I use day to day business problems and troubleshooting. I have streamlined my day and tasks with this.

What do you like best about the product?
A central point of storing documentation organized by product, team, task, etc. It is very cool how each document is a living and you can review older versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
We recently upgraded and the loss or change of macros to elements is a bit challenging to navigate. Or maybe it's just an old dog needing to learn new tricks!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the personal dashboard space has helped big time to keeping a running list of assignments and links to frequently used spaces. My productivity has benefited.

If you need a single location for your organization to create, store and retrieve business-critical resources, then Confluenece is your solution.

Confluence is nice because it's a place where product documentation can be stored online in a safe, private location for a team to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with tables in confluence is awful. We often save large tables of organized information in confluence documents but you cannot freeze rows, specify column sizes, or copy/paste in any meaningful way. It's painful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company uses confluence to store product information and document decisions. It's our main hub for final product decisions and general information that all company members should have access to.

The best tool ever made for team collaboration; you can do anything on confluence when it comes to team work and documentation, track all the aspects of any file and find them easily whenever required

The overall UI of the software can be improved, and just like any other Atlassian product, it is difficult for a newbie to learn; it takes its own sweet time before a person becomes an expert.

The team mainly uses Confluence to track and collaborate on any document or notes of any upcoming project, it has all the tools which make our work proficient and easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is easy to use and has templates for all our requirements, be it product requirements, meeting notes, design templates, or anything else you could think of. With each template, they offer a step-by-step guide and help in content writing by suggesting header, sub-headers, and the content. We can easily integrate any other app which we see fit, for example, Miro or Slack or anything other plugins or integrations. Confluence is a paradise for software developers because it offers seamless integration with Jira,, which coders already use for debugging.

There are no downsides to confluence in my opinion, it offers all the required features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is an ideal space for documentation. These documents and spaces come in handy, especially when a person is no longer working with the company and a knowledge transfer has to be done. I use Confluence to read about other team members' work in detail, there is detailed documentation about different events in the app, and you can comment, like, or mention someone just like social media networks. We use Confluence for storing knowledge about various experiments so that the same experiments don't get repeated in the future. The page analytics tool shows how many people viewed your space; this helps you ensure all your team members read the document. Confluence is an efficient tool that makes collaboration easy and increases team productivity.

Best documentation solution for collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is the best tool for team collaboration i have ever used, it has easy access to shared documentation across the team, and it takes less time searching across for any file.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is not that great and can certainly be improved in many ways; other than that, i feel it's difficult for a new person to learn it right away just like other Atlassian products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team mainly uses Atlassian Confluence to store and share information among different. It can be meeting notes, documentation, or even to take down minutes of a meeting.
