Excellent Documentation Tool with Seamless Sharing and Jira Integration
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the best documentation tools I have used. Sharing documents is very straightforward, and searching for content is also simple and efficient. Its integration with Jira makes the combination extremely effective for our needs. The guest license feature is particularly useful, as it enables me to add external users and share only the spaces that are relevant to them. I also find the new Rovo feature to be excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar really ought to be included as a standard feature, but unfortunately, it's only offered in the more expensive packages. Additionally, it would be much better if there were an option to assign third-party apps to particular groups rather than making them available to every user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence to store all the technical documentation for our applications. It has also proven helpful for recording user acceptance test cases, since cloning pages and running tests multiple times is straightforward. Additionally, we keep records of application managers and their substitutes, making it easier for everyone to know the right contact person, especially given the large number of applications we manage.
Transforms Ideas into Shared Knowledge—Collaboration at Its Best
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Confluence is how it transforms scattered ideas into shared knowledge. It’s more than just documentation—it’s where collaboration actually comes to life.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find challenging about Confluence is how easily content can become outdated or disorganized over time. It’s such a powerful tool, but it really depends on teams maintaining good structure and habits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the problem of scattered information and siloed communication. It brings everything—plans, docs, and discussions—into one shared space, so everyone stays aligned. For me, it means less time chasing context and more time focusing on actual work.

Powerful Integration with JIRA and Excellent UX
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easily Confluence integrates with JIRA, ensuring continuity and fluidity of ideas within the same ecosystem. Template management is vital for our workflow, allowing us to create processes and standards with reusable templates. The ability to share pages publicly is crucial, especially with clients, as we can adjust documents and they see the changes immediately. The export to PDF function is phenomenal, as we can apply CSS and share information with our company's branding. Additionally, I appreciate the excellent user experience that Confluence offers and its constant updates, which ensure that we are always using a modern and efficient platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the tables on Confluence pages to allow Excel-type formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence improves organization and methodology, facilitating access to information. Integration with JIRA and the management of templates allow for efficient continuity and flow. Share pages publicly and export to PDF with corporate style to strengthen communication with clients.
Centralized Documentation Made Easy, But Whiteboard and Spreadsheet Support Lacking
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that all our team's documentation is now centralized in one place, making it much easier to search for information, especially for our Service Desk team. In the past, our documentation was scattered across multiple locations, which made it difficult for the team to remember where everything was, and it was even more challenging for new starters. By moving everything to Confluence, we've set the team up for success, and they really enjoy using it. I will also note that it was really easy to migrate everything across. It also has lots of great templates to use and we love the whiteboard features. The team use confluence all day every day for they jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The whiteboard feature is somewhat limited because it currently lacks support for tables, which makes things more difficult for us. Additionally, within Confluence, we've had to leave our spreadsheets behind in Teams since they don't really migrate over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all documentation centralized in one place is very convenient. The integrated whiteboards mean I no longer need to rely on third-party tools. I also appreciate that it integrates with Jira.
Seamless Integration with Jira and Proven Collaboration Results
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is an extremely easy-to-use Wiki-style collaboration tool that integrates seamlessly with Jira. Most of our daily Jira users end up accessing Confluence on a regular basis as a way of continuing collaboration beyond the specific work items in Jira. My organization enjoys the flexibility that Confluence offers, in terms of radiating out metrics, inviting people to collaborate on specific topics or themes, or relaying key information to others. The ability to immediately connect Jira work items with Confluence pages, or to take objects from a Confluence page and turn them into Jira work items means that the two tools coexist almost without effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawbacks to Confluence are the requirement for a viewer to be an Atlassian license holder (limiting the scope of basic "view" rights to those with expensive licenses assigned) and the need for sometimes costly add-on applications in order to get some of the best features and functions out of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that Confluence solves for our organization is the coming-together of development (IT) teams and business (end-user) teams, to collaborate on the outcomes of specific requests or needs. Confluence provides a space to document IT changes and requirements while also making notes regarding end-user experiences and how to test new functionality.
Effortless Collaboration, But Can Get Slow and Cluttered with Heavy Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Confluence makes team collaboration and knowledge sharing effortless — it provides a central space where everyone can create, organize, and access documents easily, keeping information transparent and well-structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slow and cluttered, especially when many pages or attachments build up, making it harder to find specific content quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the problem of scattered information and poor documentation by offering a single, organized platform for team knowledge. It helps keep everyone aligned, improves productivity, and reduces time wasted searching for information — making work smoother and more collaborative.
Confluence Excels at Documentation and Project Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is best for documentation of notes, SOPs, project plans, and guides.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature is not that accurate in Confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence to document all our progress and processes so that anyone in our company can find them easily.
Effortless Organization and Integration, Minor Formatting Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to create and organize pages in confluence. My team uses it for meeting notes, project plans, documentation and everything stays neatly arranged in one place. The editor feels simple to use, even for people who aren't very technical. I also like how it connects smoothly with Jira which helps us link tasks and updates directly to our confluence pages. The search works really well too, I can quickly find old documents or notes without wasting time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often takes a few extra steps to format pages the way I want, especially when adding tables or images, but get things done. It can also feel a little slow or lags when loading large pages with lots of content. I think a few small design improvements could make it faster and simpler which will also improve user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps my team keep all our information and project related documents in one shared space. We don't have to look through endless chats or files anymore because everything is documented properly. It’s also really helpful for onboarding new teammates as they can just read through the pages and understand how things work. It’s made our workflow more organized, simple and also reduced a lot of back and forth communication.
