Effortlessly Enhances Collaboration, Needs UI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Confluence for its accessibility and collaborative features, which are great for collaborating on documentation. The real-time coediting feature is fantastic as it allows teams to work on pages simultaneously with live updates, and you can see visible cursors to track changes in real-time. This is very helpful for getting both asynchronous and real-time feedback. I also appreciate the inline comments and mentions, which allow for direct discussions on the page and notify specific users for their input. Additionally, Confluence's integration with other tools like Jira, Slack, and Google Drive helps streamline workflows. The whiteboard feature is another highlight, allowing me to brainstorm with sticky notes and diagrams and easily convert ideas into final document pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI can be made more intuitive and user friendly. And second thing is the search feature can be made better. The search feature is not up to the mark. Because, like, we have thousands of documents in our directory and all, but searching some keywords through those directory, Confluence doesn't work as good. So the search feature needs to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its integration with Jira is especially helpful, as it connects documentation to ongoing work and reduces the need to switch between tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
As content grows, it can be difficult to keep pages well organized without clear internal guidelines. Search can be inconsistent, especially in large workspaces with outdated or duplicate content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps solve the problem of scattered documentation by giving teams a single place to store processes, project updates, and shared knowledge. This improves alignment across teams, speeds up onboarding, and reduces time spent looking for information. By connecting documentation to workflows, especially through Jira, Confluence helps teams stay informed, work more efficiently, and maintain consistency as teams grow or change.
Empowers Team Collaboration and Seamless Note-Taking
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a software that we use mainly for deciding the policies of the company. This software also enables us to work together as a team and take important notes from the meeting that is being conducted for each and every employee of the company. It works like an digital notebook where everyone can give their inputs and write important notes and learning from the group discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is a very smart tool and at the same time it is complex for new users. It has range of business management tools and operation handling systems. One of the main challenge while working with this software was that whenever I tried searching for old files and folders it always got messy and took a lot of time and this is something on which they need to work on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the major business benefit that we have got after installing Confluence in our Organisation is that most of our employees are now able to search for right documents and data whenever they want rather than asking for details from other teams again and again. This process has not only saved us a lot of time and resource but also benefited us in monetary terms
Our Team's Memory Bank That Doesn't Forget Anything
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence works best as a long-term knowledge home rather than just a place to write documents. We use it to store decisions, internal processes, technical notes, and meetings outcomes that need to stay accessible months later. The page hierarchy and linking make it easy to understand Context instead of reading isolated documents. I also appreciate how naturally it fits into day to day collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
For new users page organization can feel confusing at first especially when space grow large. Without clear ownership or structure content can become cluttered. Formatting complex layout sometimes take more clicks than expected compared to simpler editors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence help us avoid scattered documentation across chats, emails and personal notes. It gives the team a shared reference point for how things work, why decisions were made, and where to find updated information. The value was noticeable within the first few weeks, once key pages were in place onboarding become easier and repeat questions dropped significantly.
Centralized Documentation with Smooth Setup and Improvement Areas
What do you like best about the product?
I use Confluence to archive and read the documentation of projects we're carrying out. It centralizes all the information, allowing everyone to be aware of what is being done and how. I really like how information is organized, making any document traceable through its metadata, title, or content. For example, once I needed to create a driver for Google Chat, and one of my partners had created something similar for Google Drive. I didn’t have to search for all the information about Google integration from scratch. I just needed to look at his file, and I already had an idea of what I needed to do. Also, the initial setup was really easy; I didn't spend more than 15 minutes on it. Confluence is a great files and document host.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the writing process in Confluence could be faster. Creating a block of text for each section sometimes makes creating a file with code or information other than text slow. I wish it were more like Word or Grammarly where you can just write everything straight and easily copy and paste pictures or code lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I really like that it has integration with Jira, making it easier to document our development process, easy to share, tag, versioning documents, the templates are really good to do not have to start something from zero, and customize it according to your needs, is great for internal and on boarding communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes that we didn't figure it out yet, is how to share document to external people, people outside the organization, with just the necessary permissions to just view and edit some part of a document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Begin the source of truth, align our different teams to achieve a common goal.

The collaboration page is quite appealing because it allows the team to work together on a single document. This saves time, as we no longer need to create five separate documents and then merge them afterward.
