Best Wiki-like service
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness of finding information makes the difference in organizing your responsibilities and finding THAT info you´re looking for hours without seeing it, had helped me a lot before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price can be a bit tough to chew, but it offers what it promises, and honestly, it's a fair deal, just not very available for every kind of company (the paid version at least) regardless of the size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding information, organizing the data we have, informing changes on routine, mapping information useful links, payment tips — Onboarding for new colleagues and third parties if needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Problems, suggestions and things to going right
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to keep our changes as "unpublished changes" as long as we don't publish them, and being able to open them without much effort and continue from where we left off is a convenient feature, I can even say my favorite part.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can export pages as pdf in Confluence, but there is a serious problem here: Since Turkish characters (and some special characters) are not supported, the relevant characters in the pdf are blank. In the official response to many users who mentioned this, it seems it was suggested that we install a font that supports the relevant language in the admin settings to confluence, but instead of doing this, confluence developers may prefer to use a font that already supports these characters in the whole system (for example, one of the google fonts). These types of problems should not be something we have to deal with as customers who use characters other than the English characters too of the Latin alphabet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can insert an iframe into a confluence page, and we can embed pages such as google sheet, google doc inside the iframe. This allows you to collect both excel, doc, and content such as notes and videos taken on confluence on a single screen. In addition, being able to see who is currently working on the documents and what changes they are making keeping the communication between people active and speeds up the tasks.
Confluence is a flexible project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is excellent for hosting team documents. I also love integration with Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I love the product and use it daily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a team site that could host a team page, connect with our Jira boards, and host other documents we have, and Confluence is perfect for all of this.
Low barrier to entry collaborative documentation tool
What do you like best about the product?
GUI based document editor. Allows several types of elements and let's your drag and drop. It also has a community based plugins which make it very powerful
What do you dislike about the product?
Their collaboration part still needs some refinement. It's hard to publish changes without other editors changes and leaves things in draft for ever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation across the board. We have software documentation, process documentation, tutorials, white paper, general information
Easily Accessible Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
If organization makes you happy, Confluence will bring a smile to your face. Confluence makes it easy to search for information specifically related to our company versus navigating through irrelevant information. I love that we have a shared information space because this ensures all organization members are accessing/learning from the same source. This eliminates any confusion that can be caused due to different sources of information. Confluence makes it easy to find answers to the questions you might not want to ask someone else but need to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search bar functionality is a hit or miss depending on what topic I'm researching. You have to really know what you're looking for or be comfortable spending some time modifying your search or going through results to get to what you need. Confluence is slow at times to load the pages on my browser (Chrome), which can be a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence makes it easy to spread knowledge and gain access to knowledge. I often used it while onboarding to learn more, and now it's become my reference guide. This application has made it easier for our organization to learn from each other through all the different documentation we can store.
Confluence Review
What do you like best about the product?
This is the best platform to manage the documentation for any kind of task done in your organization.
Suppose you have to implement the API for backend then you can provide all the documentation related to request payload , attached with JIRA ID and also these documentation can be shared via page URL.
There we can also upload the image for our application related to that task.
Other users can view and add their comments if they have any queries related to that task.

What do you dislike about the product?
Search is not that up to the mark; if i m searching any keyword from old documentation then it doesn't give the desired result based upon the keyword search.
If you search for the exact complete title, then it gives the result.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Documentation for any story / task done.
2. Share the documentation with other team members
3. Communication on the documentation can be done at one place
4. This documentation can be attached in JIRA for future or current reference

Simple yet powerful tool for documentation
What do you like best about the product?
You can make confluence as simple or as complex as you want. There are a number of plug-ins (Jira, Gliffy, Macros, Roadmaps) available if you truly want to create a robust space, or you can treat it like a wiki.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more plugins and ways to integrate other platforms and tools. Also I'd like for there to be more sophisticated collaboration built in, either a chat or messaging function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using confluence primarily as a document repository and also to create dashboards for various programs to enable visibility across our team and to leadership. It's worked well for both of these goals.
It's the JIRA integration that matters
What do you like best about the product?
Beyond standard wiki features, I love that Confluence integrates well with JIRA such that wiki pages can dynamically update.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve - like all wikis, it takes a bit to learn it. It would be nice to have a little more WYSIWYG features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparent communication.
It is only as good as our usage and discipline.
It is only as good as our usage and discipline.
Solid documentation, helpful integrations
What do you like best about the product?
It ties everything together well for our team, rather than having multiple documents all over the place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything in particular, works well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprint reviews and retrospectives, assign tasks easily, clear communication without runaway threads/messaging.
Confluence has allowed us to easily create an organized inter-company website
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use. We have many teams at my company and a lot going on. Confluence has allowed us to create an inter-company website with all the important informatio for employees. It has also allowed my team to keep track of our work and experiments, and have a place to upload data and links. It's also easy to edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't really anything I dislike about actually using confluence. The only thing that comes to mind is that sometimes the search doesn't seem to work that well. But if the pages are well organized, it's usually straightforward to find things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has dramatically helped to keep information organized and accessible to employees, both on a small scale and a company-wide scale. It has really helped my specific team keep data and experiments organized. It has a nice visual interface and it's easy to navigate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Creating templates makes it fast and easy to add new pages. For example, we have a section for experimental reports, and we use templates to add new reports. It keeps things formatted and helps ensure people include all the essential information. Dropdown sections also help to group pages and keep things organized. I'd recommend using good keywors to make pages easily searchable.
