A Platform that Can Do It All for a Nonprofit
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the software Network for Good is to use. The dashboard on the front page, the easy-to-look-up contacts, and the ability to personalize e-mail campaigns are the top ways I use the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could upload higher sized videos into e-mail campaigns that viewers can watch from their inbox instead of having to link through. It would be great to plug in to our website more. The campaign pages are useful for directing donors to, but it would feel more authentic if integrated into our website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking our donors, tracking annual fundraising goals, and communication with our audience.
User-Friendly Yet Needs Improvement in Donor Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I find Bonterra Network for Good very user friendly. I also think the filters in the software are helpful for pulling down certain reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been asking for a long time that the recurring donors that show up in the software are captured outside of people who give within the system. So there's people that give directly through the Network for Good platform that we have. And those are the only ones that are captured as recurring donors, but we also add in gifts that people send via check and ACH into it. But those are not captured as recurring donors, and I think that is something that needs to be improved on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bonterra Network for Good to keep track of all our donors, segment donor lists, and monitor fundraising progress yearly.
Well-Organized Contacts and Giving, with Easy Access to Key Actions
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like how the contact and giving section are organized. For example, in the contact section you can (without having to go into the contact information) send a video, an email, write a letter or mark as acknowledged. It is easy to find information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filters are not user friendly, particularly selection a custom date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing NFG as a donor database has been extremely beneficial along with the ability to communicate with them.
All Donations Tracked in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can keep track of all donations in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of all our donations both monetary and in-kind.
Timely Support and New Features That Boost Our Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Bonterra NFG provides timely support. They also continue to release new features that are helping persevere time and allow us to be more proficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't a lot of dislikes I have about Bonterra NFG. I would love to see them add a feature that allows manual donations to have an automatic email sent to the donor of it's input.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have added Que which is amazing. It's like having a personal assistant. It can help with creating reports, emails, you name it.
Streamlined Donor Communication, Some Newsletter Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Bonterra Network for Good. It makes everything I need to do easy and streamlined, allowing me to accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, when creating various newsletters, there are some errors that come up that are difficult to work around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bonterra Network for Good to easily communicate with all of our donors, set up donation campaigns, and sell event tickets. It streamlines everything I need to do, making tasks quick and efficient.
Easy to Use and Robust, but Pricey with Underwhelming Customer Service

Platform is easy to use and is robust in its offerings

Very expensive for small organizations and customer service is not well done.

Easy, Effective, and with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Bonterra Network for Good is easy to use and that it has templates available so you don't have to start from scratch. I enjoy being able to create any type of content, such as blogs or newsletters for the community. I also like that donations can be created easily. Additionally, the initial setup was good and quick, and the Bonterra team helped me resolve an issue to log into my profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to modify the templates more; there are some that do not allow modification as I would like. For example, add images where I want, be able to create and modify images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bonterra Network for Good is easy to use and has templates that help me not start from scratch. I can create any type of content and it also makes it easy to create donations.
Streamlined Event Management, Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate being able to look at historical donor data with Bonterra Network for Good. It's helpful to know what donors have given, when they've given, and in honor of whom. I also find it extremely useful and user-friendly for managing our fundraising events, like setting up sponsorships and ticket sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the event space of the software, on the user's end, it was not super user friendly. We had some feedback from people who came to our event that said that the logging in and registration process was confusing. I think that on the user end, people purchasing tickets and bidding on silent auction items, that experience could be improved to be a little bit more user friendly, especially for older folks who don't typically use that type of stuff.

Bonterra Network for Good helps us organize donors, track donations over time, set up sponsorships, handle silent auctions, and sell tickets for our annual fundraiser efficiently.
Seamless Donor Engagement, Needs User-Friendly Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Bonterra Network for Good is live, which lets us see donations in real time. We can also update our accounts with checks or direct deposits and see all transactions live. It's valuable because we can track our progress weekly or monthly, and it helps us manage our monthly budget. The system allows better engagement with donors by facilitating timely communication and fundraising actions. Additionally, transitioning to Bonterra was easy, with helpful videos and AI features that answer questions instantly, making it a user-friendly experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not always happy with the way the features for pulling stats and understanding lapsed donors work. These features are not very easy or user-friendly to get out of Bonterra Network for Good. I think this might have to do with how Bonterra and Network communicate about how the money is being dispersed into our account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bonterra Network for Good to communicate with donors and process payments. It offers real-time donation visibility, helping us track monthly performance and engage better with donors.
