An Essential Tool for Managing Donors, Events, and Communications

    Reviewed on Jul 08, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I have been very happy with Bonterra Network for Good. The system is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I use it for all aspects of our fundraising, including donations, events, donor communications, reporting, letters, and email campaigns. It is simple to pull reports quickly and access the information I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features I wish were more flexible. One limitation is that you cannot easily split a single donation between multiple campaigns. For example, if a donor gives $1,000 and wants to allocate it between two different funds or initiatives, there is not a simple way to record that.

I also wish event sponsorships were better integrated into a donor’s overall giving history. When someone sponsors an event, it is categorized separately and does not appear the same way as a donation, which can make it look like a supporter has not contributed when reviewing donor records.

Bonterra recently added AI features, but they come at an additional cost. I would prefer to see those tools included as part of the platform subscription, especially since many nonprofits are already working within limited budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network for Good helps us keep all of our fundraising efforts organized in one place. As a small nonprofit with a lean staff, having one system where we can manage donations, events, donor communications, acknowledgements, and reporting saves a tremendous amount of time.

Network for Good: Reliable, Easy-to-Use Fundraising Platform with Exceptional Support

    Reviewed on Jun 30, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The Network for Good staff are always coming up with new and creative ways to assist us with fundraising. We have been using NFG for about 10 years and rarely have any issues. The system is easy to learn and train other team members. While the pricing has gone up considerably, it is still the most affordable system that does exactly what we need. I haven't experienced any down time with software at all. The fundraising pages are easy to set up as the system walks you through each step. Tutorials are available and done very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little cumbersome to add a spouse/significant other and link the accounts. It seems to be a manual process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While it is not a traditional CRM, it works better than any we reviewed. It is nice to have a one stop shop at our fingertips.

Centralized Donor Management with Some Navigation Hiccups

    Reviewed on Jun 24, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like having everything in one place with Bonterra Network for Good, especially the dashboard snapshot of donations. It's helpful to gauge year to year where we are, as our organization is in its 10th year. It's also beneficial to see where we stand at different times of the year, like during October when we have our big fundraising event and it's Breast Cancer Awareness month.
What do you dislike about the product?
The duplicates, what to do with them, different emails, some clunky navigation, and we can't do our annual event using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bonterra Network for Good to manage donor contact info, send mass emails, track donations, see a dashboard snapshot, and organize everything in one place. It's helpful for year-to-year comparisons, especially during events like Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Easy Donor Segmentation and a Helpful Dashboard

    Reviewed on Jun 11, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can easily segment donors by amount, last donation date, whether they’re lapsed or recurring, and even by the targeting suggestions offered by Que. I also appreciate the Dashboard, which pulls this information together and highlights it for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest frustration with NFG is that I can’t segment event attendees directly from the event page. The page gives me the option to send a communication, but when I try to create a list for a specific group of attendees, the process is convoluted and confusing. I’m still not sure how to do it. My additional frustration is the lack of ease in reporting the lapsed recurring donor immediately, accurately, and readily available either reported to me weekly or easy for me to pull for the time period I am requesting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NFG makes it simple to track donors, when and how much they donate, automated thank you emails with amount and date for their tracking, event, fundraising and campaign pages are easy to build and use.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and has features that can be adapted for almost any company need
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service is limited. It would be nice to have a dedicated PERSON that we could call when the need arises, instead of just relying on virtual chat, office hours or being referred to online resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NFG allows us to really segment our correspondence based on our custom groups and has helped us as we start moving into more donor based outreach. We are excited for the (currently in beta testing) Grants Management feature.

A Platform that Can Do It All for a Nonprofit

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the software Network for Good is to use. The dashboard on the front page, the easy-to-look-up contacts, and the ability to personalize e-mail campaigns are the top ways I use the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could upload higher sized videos into e-mail campaigns that viewers can watch from their inbox instead of having to link through. It would be great to plug in to our website more. The campaign pages are useful for directing donors to, but it would feel more authentic if integrated into our website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking our donors, tracking annual fundraising goals, and communication with our audience.

User-Friendly Yet Needs Improvement in Donor Tracking

    Reviewed on Apr 27, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I find Bonterra Network for Good very user friendly. I also think the filters in the software are helpful for pulling down certain reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been asking for a long time that the recurring donors that show up in the software are captured outside of people who give within the system. So there's people that give directly through the Network for Good platform that we have. And those are the only ones that are captured as recurring donors, but we also add in gifts that people send via check and ACH into it. But those are not captured as recurring donors, and I think that is something that needs to be improved on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bonterra Network for Good to keep track of all our donors, segment donor lists, and monitor fundraising progress yearly.
