The product is easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the way that NFG customer service reps are helpful and patient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to create filters. It seems that if multiple filters were pre-programmed as much as possible, it would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping donorbase up to date is the best thing we've done with NFG. The benefits of recording messages, texting, etc. is also great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Seek a platform with good customer service. NFG has that!

What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard - get to see lots of data without running a report

What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot track # of volunteer hours and automatically calculate values within NFG - must calculate first in Excel, then transfer values to NFG as in-kind gifts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More seamless communication. Helping volunteers see the monetary value of their time. I use less time to create communications. Creating videos is a snap! We don't have a great camera/video equipment, so my lap top, with NFG, becomes a powerful tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
NFG may appear pricey but the cost is worth every penny. Our org was woefully lacking in the area of donor development. We chose to add a fundraising/development coach for the first year. It was a TREMENDOUS benefit. And the video/communication capabilities were excellent tools as our subscription started a few months before our shut-down due to Covid. Fundraising didn't even experience a hiccup.
Easy to Use Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of using NFG is the unprecedented support. There are office hours, free classes & expert coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could get more insights on text blasts. I think this is more the nature of cell service than NFG
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping up with contacts, people moving, record keeping that we can give ro our fiscal sponsor.

When selecting a well rounded solution for administration of a non-profit NFG meets the challenges faced by small & large organizations
High-quality software and coaching support
What do you like best about the product?
Too many SAAS companies sell great products without technical support to customize software to an organization's needs. As a small, new nonprofit organization, we needed technical support on the software and strategic guidance on fundraising... and we received fantastic TA and coaching! Network for Good is an excellent company that has helped us grow!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is NOTHING the software cannot currently do for a small nonprofit organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to be consistent with our donors... communicating regularly about progress and segmenting messages to various audiences. The software allows us to segment and uses recurring templates to communicate with donors and supporters quickly! The personal and group video features are helpful too!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think software and coaching are BOTH needed to make this product work well for you. The addition of a fundraising coach made a huge difference in our effectiveness and learning the tools!

Excellent customer service! They always answer my questions. Easy to use, easy to learn, mobile friendly.

Reporting can be a bit time-consuming because you have to export and download.

Network For Good is Really a Great Tool for Non-Profits
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Real time information. Tracking the open rate and click thru on eblast communications. Like that it is an all in one platform. The eblasts are easy to create and track. We like the texting feature as well. So many folks use text as their main form of communication,
What do you dislike about the product?
Would prefer to have the option of live help rather than doing the chat and getting links to look at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
was able to have one program instead of 2. Very beneficial to track donations and engagement with communications. makes me more productive.
Donor Management Review
What do you like best about the product?
That you can send communications through the same database you store donor data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to upload bulk donations from other software companies such as GIVECAMPUS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love being able to create filters and export relevant data about my donors. Using the data to segment donors has increased giving this year.

What do you like best about the product?
The great customer service and easy to use website is night and day from the fundraising platform we used to use. It is much easier to train new staff to use network for good and have been able to hand off some responsibilities to other staff members!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I don't have any complaints about Network for Good. It has been easy to use and we love it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Network for Good to stay in contact with our donors and host fundraising events. We love the peer-to-peer fundraising event feature where donors can leave little notes and it is really encouraging to scroll through all the donor notes and I think it encourages other people to give!
Great source for data base collection.
What do you like best about the product?
Great visual, centralized location for data collection and accessible to more than one individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
Running reports is sometimes confusing and not easy.

No problems. A benefit is that the information is at the tip of our fingers.

Being able to create campaigns and share them easily; Ability to run custom reports; Fundraising Coach

The Fiscal Year filter doesn't work, you have to use custom date; No ability to note recurring donations offline except with custom fields (cumbersome); separate ability to track volunteer hours and convert to monetary value would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where the money comes from, what speaks to most people. We have increased our giving income by being able to more easily track and thank our donors.
