User-Friendly Platform with Outstanding Support and Room to Grow
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Bonterra Network for Good is their outstanding customer support and commitment to helping nonprofits succeed. From the very beginning, their team is responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive—whether it's troubleshooting an issue, helping us customize a campaign, or following up to ensure everything is running smoothly.
The platform is user-friendly, but what really sets it apart is the wealth of training opportunities they offer—from live webinars to on-demand tutorials—making it easy for staff and volunteers at all levels to build confidence and maximize impact. Their personalized onboarding and continued engagement make us feel like a valued partner, not just a customer.

What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement with Bonterra Network for Good is that some features aren’t as intuitive as I would expect, especially given how user-friendly the rest of the platform is. Occasionally, certain functions take a few extra steps to locate, which can slow things down. That said, their excellent customer service and responsive support team usually help resolve issues quickly, and the available training resources go a long way in helping users navigate any challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bonterra Network for Good is helping us solve several key challenges in nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement. It centralizes our donor data, streamlines online giving, and simplifies campaign management - all in one place. This has saved valuable time and allowed us to focus more on building relationships rather than managing spreadsheets or juggling multiple systems.
The platform’s donor segmentation and communication tools help us personalize outreach and steward donors more effectively, which has led to stronger engagement. The reporting features also make it easier to track impact and share results with our board and stakeholders, enhancing transparency and trust.

Bonterra Network for Good for a non-profit
What do you like best about the product?
The CRM is user friendly and implementation was fairly easy. They have templates for campaign giving and functionality to handle events and silent auctions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There customer service doesn't have a phone number, they want you to use a chat feature which doesn't work well with my internet browser. They can't refund a donation quickly if someone gave by mistake even though I notified them within hours of it happening. There is no good method for tracking grants received with this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of all our donors and sending out newsletters monthly. It's nice to track the activity per donor interaction.

LEARNING
What do you like best about the product?
The zoom training is easy to follow and covers so many topics. I enjoy the fact I can go back and view the sessions again to review something that I missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not very computer savvy so sometimes when they are explaining how to do something it takes looking at the session a couple of times to get it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps track of donors and mailing list.
Outstanding for social justice communication and developement

The all-encompassing approach to data capture. From online forms, to email campaigns, the platform provides powerful engagement methods available with little, or no coding knowledge needed to integrate with 3rd party platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The difficulty level of the program, and the intricate/clunky Help Center, required hours of trial and error, this was compounded with the necessary organizational experience needed to customize the platform for best results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CRM for tracking memberships, communication, and engagement levels. This helps to inform our organization campaigns.
A Great Platform For Donor Management and Donor Communications
What do you like best about the product?
Donor management is fairly simple. Creating filters and contact groups has helped us pull information to keep us informed about our donor groups and fundraising campaigns. Communication with donors through email blasts, text messages and direct mail has been a useful tool for our non-profit, as well.
We have several ticketed events throughout the year. Setting up events in NFG has been simple and works well for inviting guests, tracking ticket sales, promoting and staying in contact with event guests.
Customer support through the chat feature has been very helpful. They are quick to respond and have generally been able to resolve my issues and/or lead me to whatever training we need.
In our organization the Development role uses NFG nearly every day. Overall, we are happy with the product and are looking forward to future improvements that will help where some features are currently lacking.

What do you dislike about the product?
Events and auctions could use some improvement. The check-in feature for guests attending our events is much too slow to be an effective tool for our organization. Also, the Auctions function was not the best. We had challenges with managing item images for printing as well as checking out items once they were won.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Donor tracking, cultivation and communication has been made simpler by NFG. Overall, NFG has allowed our Development team to be more effective, especially through launching new fundraising campaigns and event promotion.
