5-Star Review – Excellent Donor Management System!
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Bonterra Network for Good for a few years, and it's truly transformed how our organization operates. One of the standout features is the ease of use—the interface is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly, making it simple for our entire team to navigate and manage donor relationships efficiently.
The ease of implementation was also impressive. From initial setup to full integration with our existing processes, the onboarding experience was smooth and well-supported. We were up and running quickly, without the typical headaches of adopting new software.
What sets this platform apart is the exceptional customer service. Their support team is always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed. Anytime we’ve had a question or needed assistance, they’ve been quick to provide effective solutions.
Overall, this system has made donor management more organized, effective, and far less stressful. It is highly recommended to any nonprofit looking to streamline operations and enhance their donor relationships!

What do you dislike about the product?
While we appreciate the overall functionality of the donor management system, we’d like to see improvement in the filter options for searching and reporting on donors. Currently, the available filters are somewhat limited, which makes it challenging to generate more specific or customized reports.
Applying more advanced or multi-layered filters would greatly enhance our ability to analyze donor data, segment our communications, and track engagement more effectively. We hope to see expanded filter and reporting capabilities in future updates.

Bonterra Network for Good has been a tremendous asset to our organization. It is a solid, centralized database that keeps all of our donor information organized, accurate, and easily accessible.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track performance, statistics, inventory, and client details in one place with user friendly ease of access, and accessible customer support complete with a real-time checklist that ensures quality control have made this a time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I particularly dislike in the almost two years that I have used it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bonterra provides a platform for which users, and administrators can access and add data used for the purposes of acquiring funding and tracking and demonstrating the uses and outcomes of the allocation of funds, as well as projected funding in real time.
Great and easy to use.

The system is easy to navigate. Also, the mailer templates are great. Also, the ability to detect duplicates is a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price is steep for a non-profit. Some areas of the template are not at easy to navigate.

Filtering out donor in certain city's when we are sending email blast.
A great way to streamline communication!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how, even within the templates, almost any feature can be customized. I also appreciate the analytics to help us make informed decisions about future fundraising efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating the graphics can sometimes be tricky. I can create a graphic that I feel is perfect, but when loaded into Bonterra, it doesn't seem to look as I expected, which means I need to keep going back to tweak my graphics to fit with the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bonterra has helped us better organize and track our supporters and provided templates that save us literally hours of precious time and energy.
Bonterra Guided Fundraising has been so helpful with all aspects of fundraising.
What do you like best about the product?
Responses to questions are quick and the staff are extremely friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation back and forth from fundraising pages and donor management. There's also a completely separate site for payment management. It would be helpful to put this all on one site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The database makes communications so easy and effortless, and the software allows for such easy tracking of donations.

The templates can be restrictive. I would like more options for easier customization.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature about Bonterra are the video thank yous. Donors absolutely love them and it's a great way to personalize your thank you message and it's very memorable. I don't know of any other DMS that does video thank yous. They are super easy to use and very user friendly.

I wish you could customize the event and ticket pages more.

They are always working on making themselves better. Their customer support is great and they are super responsive and quick.

Service and Help tools!!! Great customer service.

I wish the communication tools had made organizing email and direct mail blasts easier. I like to schedule emails and must duplicate and recopy. Hard to find them in the list.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is right there in Bonterra - donation tracking, text/mass email creation, personalized campaigns, etc. Everything to keep a lot of the non-profit administrative stuff organized. Very self-intuitive as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes donors will donate to a campaign that expired over a year ago and even if you set a final date for donations, the campaign doesn't "close." Its no problem to edit the donation to the intended campaign, but then it brings the expired campaign back up to the top of the list.
Also, it's difficult to add a new name to mass mailings. Sometimes you may want to personalize a mass email to a certain group of donors from a board member or other person, and it's difficult to add that additional name. So all of the mass emails have to come from the same staff member in the organization.
