Equally Beneficial for large or small Organizations
What do you like best about the product?
The folks at Bonterra have developed a platform that syncs all the things necessary for good development and fundraising work, then crafted software that allows someone with modest tech skills to create content like an expert.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had a negative experience. Even the response times for tech support are fast, which isn't very common these days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using their email communication platform, I can keep up with our clients & donors, I can develop and send communication incredibly quickly and the program keeps track of what I've done in a manner that allows me to return to old messaging to confirm and/or amplify core messages.
Bonterra Guided Fundraising as our CRM system
What do you like best about the product?
Great CRM and filtering tool to help us to analyze giving patterns!
What do you dislike about the product?
To save cost, we use a separate mailing system so we have an added step for any campaigns we might do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an easy way for people to give to us!
This is an all-in-one platfrom for donor management that is easy to navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to navigate in all aspects: donor management, communications, and reports with excellent customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. There is nothing we dislike about this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small nonprofit organization where I wear every hat in the administrative side of our nonprofit. BGF allows me to easily commicate with donors and fundraise.
I Highly Recommend ("Network for Good") now known as Bonterra.
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process was simple comparred to others I have had to go through. I also like the fact that everything that I need is in the same dashboard. Emails, Campaigns, Text Message, Donations, Donors, etc... I also like the fact that you have access to someone right away with the automated question bot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that the Sponsor Event Button was more prominent on the Campaign Page. When you set up an event with ticket sales and sponsorship opportunities. Also I wish that they had an option that would send ticket purchasers QR Codes that they could present to the check in table at the time of check in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe they are looking into both of my dislikes in my review and said that they were considering changing those or improving them.
Fundraising Reporting Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
Bonterra gives our organization the ability to process credit card donations. The ability to create reports with filters gives us a good insight into our donations. The support staff is amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding the breakdown of the monthly check is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying duplicate donors helps us to have a very accurate data base.
Great CRM Tool with Basic Functions for Small Organizations
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the built in communication options and fundraising pages that link to our website. Technical support was quick, helpful and a positive experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data inport mapping can be complex and options for general purposes are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease for website integration for fundraising campaigns. I have worked with others and the coding can make it complex for users and quick customer support if there is a tech issue or user confusion.
One Year Jump Start Training
What do you like best about the product?
The tools available are incredible. I particularly like the donor tracking system that supports automatic updates and personal notations. The communication tools are effective, easy to use have great options for creativity. Support staff is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything at the moment.

They were able to streamline payments to ur non-profit.

What do you like best about the product?
Bontera Guided Fundraising is intuiutive and easyt to use. The dreaded switch from our previous software went seamlessly and we were noticing improvements on day one. The Dashboards are extrememly helpful, filters are easy to use, but what really stands out is the resources and engagement plans that let us jump right in and reach more donors in an effective way.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not expereienced a downside, but if I had to pick something, I would like to see a more advance search for conatct records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can do all the things we need to do with our donors in one place and it effectively tracks what is working.

What do you like best about the product?
I value maintaining precise donor records and having an integrated system for email communication, email tracking, and ticket sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the email tools and templates are very convenient, we seem to have a lot of trouble reaching all of our donors. It seems many email providers are getting better at weeding out mass emails, and we often get complaints from people who do not receive our emails, and sometimes they take it personally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us keep detailed records, and helps guide our fundraising based on donor history and interaction. It also simplifies our event ticketing by keeping track of everything, and enabling us to print detailed reports.
Overall this is a great system, though as a fiscal sponsor there are some areas for improvement

The dashboard on the main page that allows me to get a glance at activity over the past month/year.

We are a fiscal sponsor so it is difficult to allow our projects to easily use the system for their own fundraising and managing contacts.
