The platform is fairly simple, user friendly, what I do not like is your slow QA.
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple, straightforward, stable, userfriendly
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite slow QA procedure, it would be great if earning information could be hidden, if outsourced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers quick work process in localization, more than one user can work on the same task simultaneously, which speeds up the work process.
The Easiest to Use CAT Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use and how intuitive the interface is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it freezes and doesn't progress when I click confirm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase Localization Platform helps prevent omissions and is convenient because it allows the use of Translation Memory (TM).
It helps me a lot with fantastic features such as Translation Memory and Term Bases
What do you like best about the product?
I have used this platform for several years. I'd like to say it's very convenient and definitely improves our efficiency. Here are some features that I like best:
1. Translation memories & Term bases
If there are some words or phrases that you have translated before, you can just choose them from the suggestions shown on the side of the page. You don't need to translate them again.
2. QA
It helps you check the quality of the translation. For instance, if the same word is translated into several versions in different places, the QA feature will notify you.
3. Workflow
If many team members are working on the same project, the workflow feature is very helpful. Different members can have different roles.

What do you dislike about the product?
For some reason, it is sometimes difficult to log into the system due to cache issue of browser.
But if you know how to solve it, it's not a big deal. Just need to clear the cache

It helps us to improve the efficiency and save time.

Everything is in 1 place, easily accesible for everyone working on projects.

I haven't found anything for now I don't like about Phrase.

Using Phrase as a Freelance Translator
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. Its interface is simple, so even a user who is not familiar with CAT tools can learn quickly. The CS team is very responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The simple interface can also be a weakness. A skilled translator needs complex features to raise their productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The machine translation suggestion is helpful. I can raise my productivity with it.
Good but can be better

It works pretty fine, you can upload jobs and analyze them pretty fast.

There are too many issues and there's a lot of space for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can assign jobs to multiple linguists, get everything translated and reviewed or machine translated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to select pages that I want to send for translation.

I'm a developer and I love Phrase's API flexibility.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm building reporting and workflow automations for my company and I'm frequently using phrase's API. It's very well documented and whenever I have an issue phrase support is helping out with advice and action. Could not ask for more!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to really complain. It's sometimes a bit hard to find specific options, but this is hard to avoid due to the complexity and feature-richness of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase helps us produce high quality translations through the easy-to-use translation memory and term-bases. Also the QA tools are very advanced and simple to use. We save a lot of time with the tool.

The dashboard could be improved in terms of usability

Phrase is actually managing our SaaS in three different languages for us at the moment

So many things! For example:
- Phrase TMS, e.g. for those familiar with conventional CAT tooling for their UIs and product documentation
- Phrase Strings specifically for UI localization workflows including OTA updates
- Fully customizable file filters
- Phrase AI language portal for quick translations using an interface similar to free translation portals such as Google translate ->but with the option of leveraging multiple MT engines and a custom dictionary, and for different departments if required
- Connector functions for workflow automation, e.g. with Google drive, Github, Figma
- Excellent knowledge base and support desk
- Easy to use despite being feature-rich
- Training academy & certification
- They keep adding new features, so if you think something is missing, it is realistic that that feature may already be in the pipeline.
