Streamlining Localization with Phrase TMS
What do you like best about the product?
As a regular user of Phrase TMS, I've found its intuitive interface to be a significant time-saver, allowing for quick navigation and efficient project management. The collaboration features stand out, fostering seamless interaction among team members which has enhanced the quality of our translations and expedited turnaround times. The automation and workflow capabilities have noticeably reduced manual work, integrating smoothly with our development processes and making localization feel almost effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's occasionally overwhelming to navigate the extensive features and settings without a solid onboarding process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the complexities of managing multilingual content by streamlining the translation process, which has notably reduced our time-to-market for international product releases and enhanced the consistency and quality of our localized content across different languages and markets.
A CAT that everyone would love to have
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Phrase (formerly Memsource) for a few years as a preferred CAT tool for various translation agencies. It's easy to use and intuitive, and the QA process is made easy making sure you don't miss any mistypes or errors. Concordance search is also simplified in the new version allowing for faster project completion.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not common, but sometimes the QA process flags source text errors and doesn't let you complete the project. It's probably something to fix in the next versions of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost it allows you to take your work anywhere with you, since you can access your projects from any PC.
An Excellent Localisation Platform for LSPs
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing for me in Phrase is its intuitive and user-friendly interface which has plenty of customization options as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it does not support project packages (SDLPPX) from SDL Trados
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase is a solution of all the project related worries be it file formats, inbuilt MT, localisation or formatting of output file.

What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is a very powerful tool and it is that helps students learn the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the translation and localization industry. It is amazing how easy it is to use and manage different projects. As an educator, I find Phrase the ideal tool to teach a general view of the many different tasks involved in any translation or localization project. The fact of having all of its features online mkes the implementation very easy as well, and the support given to educators is also a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
A version that could run on the students' computers could be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Memsource is a very intuitive and user friendly cat tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have used the cloud-based version of Memsource to translate/edit texts as a linguist. The Translation Memory and Termbase are easily incorporated into the project on the right and can be readily used. The shortcuts for translation and editing are easy to remember. The tags are easy to handle. Uncomplicated interface and fast when it comes to productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not remember of any drawbacks. I am not sure how it will behave with large and complicated files.

Productivity and speed.

The user interface is self-explanatory, which makes it easy to use.

Sometimes, the matches and suggestions are not being loaded from the resources. But there is nothing I really dislike.

I can easily see matches and suggestions from the resources, I am using the term base.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase TMS enables me to increase my translation output through the use of TM (clearly displayed to the right of the user interface), generating more income.
It also helps me ensure terminolgy is consistent within projects (particularly useful when multiple files need to be translated for the same customer).

Lean, user-friendly, totally satisfying CATT
What do you like best about the product?
First, it is super efficient and feature-complete, and secondly, it is the most user-friendly, intuitive CATT I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the features pane on the right has been reorganized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast-tracking translation projects
Very easy to use translation software with great review functionality
What do you like best about the product?
We've worked with one of our suppliers and they started to use Phrase about two years ago. We haven't actually used Phrase for our daily project management cause we use it through our supplier. The review function is very easy to use and it offers our client great options of doing it online offline. The interface is smart and asy to navigate. The multilingual localisation functionality is also great as we translate interface content monthly into more than 10 languages. It saves a huge amount of time from not having to copy and paste.
What do you dislike about the product?
The review account will display recent projects which sometimes causes trouble. We deal with multiple clients and they value confidentiality. Sometimes without clearing it, Phrase will show one client's recent project to another client which is not ideal. Even when we clear it, it still goes wrong at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase can directly input the translations for many languages into one spreadsheet with specifying the language column. This is very useful as it saves a lot of time from manually copying and pasting.
Easy to use and dependable
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it it to use and it's very dependable
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't complete a job without cheching all the boxes. You should get a warning, and if it is supposed to be that way, you should be able to finish it anyway.
