An amazing solution for all localization needs!
What do you like best about the product?
I have used other tools, and Phrase is amazing! I find it the most reliable way to handle localization needs for both web and mobile applications globally. The interface is well structured and very user-friendly, and intuitive. Whenever we need to onboard someone new for a translation or localization project, in 30mins they are up and running using Phrase, no hassle, no problems whatsoever!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I have no down points to mention. Since I started using Phrase, I feel the localization process started to be smoother and smoother. The options provided for our plan are pretty remarkable too!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a big team of translators from different countries/languages, and having a platform that helps to see the completion of each string at a glance has been a great game changer! It has improved our delivery speed and drastically reduced the mistakes from team members, as our LN manager can quickly spot what is missing.
A great tool for teaching and learning CAT technologies
What do you like best about the product?
Memsource is very practical and easy to use because of its user-friendly and intuitive interface. The students love using it, especially when they're working together on translation projects.
It is very flexible too in terms of project management and cloud-based system. We had many projects and therefore we had the opportunity to test its capabilities. Some functions are really helpful in this case, such as assigning jobs to translators (in a very easy way), splitting the file that needs to be translated or the option for multiple languages in TMs or TBs.
Moreover, Web Editor allows students to work freely and independently without the need to install any additional software on their computer or without any restriction.

Nothing, everything is OK! I recommend this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We also really appreciate the academic licensing policy, this is particularly important for universities and the courses on CAT Tools.
An intuitive CAT tool and translation management system, ideal for academic purposes
What do you like best about the product?
As a university teacher, I like the simplicity and integrity of the system; the students can quickly grasp the essentials of translation management, trying both sides of a translation project - the role of a linguist and that of a project manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problems are not connected with Memsource itself, but with academia being somewhat out of touch with the real translation industry tasks, challenges, and workflows. It might be difficult for beginners to simulate true-to-life working situations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having access to Phrase Academic Edition, our University can train the students to become professional translators. They create and complete translation projects; some of the students do volunteer translations under our supervision. The Academic Edition of the TMS offers effective solutions of translation routine; the platform's user-friendly interface allows the students to effortlessly navigate the platform and quickly learn necessary skills.

What do you like best about the product?
It enables me to choose the best word with its transltaion memory, and machine translation reduces the number of places to correct and saves so much time for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I translate documents, articles and scientific articles with memsource, but I prefer to translate literary texts myself because it cannot always translate well enough to reflect the same feelings as the source text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to produce high quality translations. Reduce the amount of time and effort needed to produce translations. One of the best thing is that I don't have to think that much to find a perfect word for my translation.
An absolute life saver!
What do you like best about the product?
It solves a very real problem. Localization can be such a pain, and with Phrase it becomes seamless. Not just because it allows for quick turnaround, but more because it allows you to invite people to translate for you etc... seamlessly. I had to translate 250 lines to a crazy language, and it was as easy as creating an user for the translator, give him access to just the right texts and done. Amazing.
Another problem that solves for us is that, many times you dont really need a translation... but you need quick edits on the texts etc... and for that Phrase is a total lifesaver.

Memsource is just the best. They offer a complete service, including webinars and trainings held by passionate instructors, and as far as I know they are free and are meant for pure learning of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's all great, really. It may lag sometimes, but it will still save segments so they can be saved at a later time when internet is available/no server issues are found.

I'm managing quality of complex projects for big clients. It's so easy to use, customizable, user friendly. I feel more productive, everything is at your fingertip!

How it's easy to see translated, verified and untranslated strings, but also the way we can divide projects.

There's some bugs related to sentences supposed to be translated but which are not appear in the platform.

Translating very quickly an international website, and see easily what is done, and what have to be done.

Supporting multiple languages on a product and getting the correct translations. With phrase it's easy to add language's and also managing translators is also more efficient
