Steerlab Keeps Our Healthtech Content Fresh and Pitches Sharper

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Steerlab’s auto-managed content library is clutch—it keeps our approved healthtech docs up to date without me having to babysit uploads. The AI also crafts human-like responses in seconds, and it can match client-specific tones really well. I also love the built-in win probability scores and bias detection; they surface gaps early, so our pitches land stronger every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The multilingual support is solid, but it would be even better if it handled niche healthtech jargon across more languages out of the box. For our international bids, we still sometimes need to make a quick tweak here and there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With just five of us, RFPs used to derail everything. We were constantly hunting down stale content, coordinating feedback through endless email chains, and second-guessing compliance for regulated clients. Steerlab changes that. It auto-generates roughly 85% of each draft from our library, tracks progress with smart alerts when things bottleneck, supports real-time comments and contributions, and surfaces data-backed insights from past wins and losses. Now our turnaround is down to hours, we’ve landed 40% more gigs this quarter, and we can finally focus on strategy instead of getting buried in busywork. It’s been a great fit for a scrappy consultancy like ours going after big healthtech deals.

Steerlab’s AI Delivers Near-Ready RFP Responses That Sound Like Us

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The AI in Steerlab is amazing. It really understands our content library and produces RFP responses that sound like our team wrote them. Most of the time, they’re about 80–90% ready and only need a quick polish. The confidence scores are helpful as well, because they show us which parts aren’t quite right so we can fix them quickly no more guessing. The AI is great at handling IT services questions. It uses our policies past successes to come up with good answers. This is especially helpful when we are pitching to clients in time zones across APAC.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard export feature needs improvement. It would be great if we could customize exported reports with our branding and filters directly in the tool, without having to rely on Excel. That would save us a lot of time, especially since things move fast and we’re often in a hurry in the sales world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we started using Steerlab, dealing with RFPs was a nightmare for our growing team. We had to dig through tons of documents, make sure we were following all the deal rules, and spend late nights working with engineers. A lot of our bids failed simply because we were exhausted.

Now Steerlab auto-generates answers that fit each RFP really well. The responses are ready in hours, not days, and our team can collaborate on them in time to submit strong bids. This quarter, we’ve won 30% deals. We’re not burned out anymore, and we can focus on closing deals and growing the business.

I highly recommend Steerlab to any sales team in IT services. It really works.

Quick Setup and Smooth CRM Sync for Stronger Sales–Engineering Collaboration

  • April 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Setup is very quick. It syncs with our CRM, which makes it easy for our engineers to add technical details to the responses we send when people request proposals. That, in turn, helps our sales team and the solution team collaborate smoothly and stay aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be better if we could see more detailed information about how people use our stuff, like the kinds of questions they’re asking. That would help us improve our content library over time and make it more useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to get pulled into answering the same questions about our software over and over again, and it really slowed me down. This tool uses intelligence to take on the hard work for us. It can produce drafts that our engineers consider solid in just a few minutes. That frees me up to focus on making our proposals as strong as possible, which helps us get deals done faster. In our case, we’re talking about moving each deal along weeks faster.

Real-Time Collaborative Editing That Keeps Our Pitches Moving

  • April 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative editing feature is really great for IT consulting pitches. It lets my team work on AI drafts in real time without having to worry about conflicting versions. As a result, we can keep deals moving forward smoothly without any hiccups.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were templates we could use for things like cloud migrations or cybersecurity. Having these available would be really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we get requests for proposals from clients for IT services they can be very different from one another. This can be overwhelming. Make the sales process take a long time. Steerlab helps us with this by using our knowledge base to create documents

Steerlab AI Delivers Nuanced RFP Responses and Saves Us Hours

  • April 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Steerlab’s AI nails the nuance of software-specific RFPs, pulling from our content library to generate responses that sound like they came straight from our team and save us hours on every submission.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics dashboard could benefit from more customizable filters, especially for tracking response trends across multiple deals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Steerlab, coordinating sales ops during RFP season was chaos documents were scattered everywhere and we were stuck doing endless manual edits. Now it auto-generates answers that are about 85% complete and includes confidence scores, so we can focus on closing deals instead of grunt work. Since switching, our quarterly win rate has improved noticeably.

AI Automation That Lets Us Respond to Nearly Every RFP Opportunity

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We used to sit around a table and decide with RFPs were worth our time not because we didn't want the work, but because we simply didn't have the bandwidth to chase everything. That conversation doesn't happen anymore. we respond to nearly every opportunity that comes in now. The AI takes on the repetitive groundwork and the team puts its energy into the parts that actually require human thinking. That shift alone changed how we operate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Chrome extension coverage is good but not complete. A handful of portals still need you to switch over to the full web app, which adds a small but noticeable interruption to an otherwise smooth process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We knew we were leaving money on the table we just hadn't sat down to add it up properly. When we did, the number was uncomfortable. Six figures a year in opportunities we never even submitted for, not because we weren't qualified, but because we ran out of hours. That's not a losing problem, that's a capacity problem. Steerlab solved the capacity problem.

Steerlab’s Source-Backed Answers You Can Trust for Proposal Work

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Steerlab does not try to impress you. It gives you answers with sources and if it does not have one it says so and stops. No extra information, no guesses that sound confident. For proposal work. Where a wrong answer does not just look bad it can cost you the bid. That kind of approach is exactly what you need from an AI tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, there’s no way to export responses into a presentation. After a bid, every summary deck still has to be created from scratch, which feels like an unnecessary extra step when all of that content is already in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We tried AI tools that could write well, but they were often wrong. They sounded polished and were easy to read, yet they were completely untrustworthy. We had to check for mistakes before sending anything, and that quickly became its own task. At that point, we started questioning what the tool was really saving us. We didn’t need something that could write like a journalist; we needed something we could rely on. Steerlab understood this and built for it.

One Shared View That Keeps Our Team Aligned and Version-Safe

  • April 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Assigning sections, tracking who’s done what, leaving feedback, and signing off on answers it all lives in the same place. The days of attaching Word docs to emails and crossing your fingers that nobody saves over the wrong version are completely behind us. Now the whole team works from one shared view, and everyone always knows exactly where things stand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slide generation isn’t quite there yet. After a submission, we usually put together a briefing deck for internal stakeholders, and for now that’s still a manual task. Given how much structured content already exists inside Steerlab by that point, an export-to-slides feature would feel like a natural and genuinely useful addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anyone who’s managed proposals on a shared drive knows the feeling: you open the file and immediately wonder whether you’re even looking at the right version. We’d have two or three people working in the same document, and inevitably someone’s edits would disappear—or worse, quietly overwrite someone else’s. Hours of careful writing, just gone. After it happened enough times, we stopped being surprised and started building extra time into the schedule to account for the chaos. That’s not a workflow; that’s damage control. Steerlab put an end to it: one place, one version, and no more archaeology to figure out what the final answer actually was.

Clean Interface and Frictionless Onboarding That Saves Real Hours

  • April 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve used enough proposal tools to know that a clean interface is never a given. With Steerlab, everything is simply where you’d expect it to be—no wandering through settings, and no decoding terminology that only makes sense to whoever built the tool. We had someone new join mid-bid recently, and they were contributing the same day without anyone having to sit with them. No guide, no walkthrough, nothing.

When you’re managing deadlines and coordinating a full team, that kind of frictionless onboarding isn’t just a nice-to-have; it genuinely saves you hours. It’s also one of those benefits you don’t fully appreciate until you’ve dealt with the alternative.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Chrome extension works well across most portals, but there’s one regional platform we use that still isn’t supported. It’s not a dealbreaker—the team has confirmed it’s on the roadmap—but for now it does mean the occasional manual workaround in the meantime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous tool was technically capable, but in practice it was miserable to use. The interface fought you at every step; people avoided it not because they didn’t want to use it, but because simply opening it made even basic tasks feel unnecessarily difficult. As a result, they drifted back to doing things manually, which defeated the whole point. When software is harder than the work it’s supposed to simplify, adoption doesn’t fail loudly—it just fades away. Steerlab fixed that by being straightforward and easy to work with.

Steerlab’s Excel Support Handled Our Messy Files Flawlessly

  • April 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Excel support was genuinely the deciding factor for us. We had around 500 question files with the kind of formatting that makes most tools give up merged cells, nested tabs, and inconsistent structures. Every other platform we tested either choked on them or mangled the output. Steerlab handled them without complaint and came out the other side with clean results. That alone justified the switch for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slack’s approval workflow exists, but right now it feels fairly surface-level. For simple, straightforward sign-offs it gets the job done, but anything with more nuance still ends up pulling me back into the main app. Adding more depth here would make a real difference and meaningfully cut down on the context switching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendor questionnaires used to be something our team genuinely dreaded. Not because of the questions themselves, but because of the state the files arrived in: bizarre layouts, broken formatting, and columns that made no logical sense. Getting them into a workable state often took longer than actually answering them. That cleanup burden is completely gone now. We can open the file and start working right away, which is how it always should have been.
