Own takes the same mundane process and supercharges it with efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
Own's data backup tool is their main product, but the hidden gem is the data seeding tool, as well as their development team behind it. Customer Support answers any issue I have very promptly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about the product nor the company. Products are fantastic as well as the team behind them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Own is a top of the line data back up tool that makes the entire process extremely simple.

Professional responsive backup software with first-class support
What do you like best about the product?
Own account reps meet with us regularly to make sure we are using their products effectively, share any new product info, and answer questions. They want their customers to succeed!
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is not cheap but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Own gives us peace of mind that our salesforce platform is backed up effectively and efficiently. The Sandbox seeding feature is also great to help with testing functionality in our sandboxes before moving through our environments.

What do you like best about the product?
We are engaged with ownbackup from last five years and product is excellent. It has helped us to rescue many times during production data and meta data mismatch issues. We can fully really the feature it offers

The infrastructure need to be more enhanced to serve the customer data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data and metadata loss and regular data backup

The best thing the software does is give you peace of mind that your data is protected as salesforce won’t do that for you, so if you’re ever to lose data then Own has got it protected.

Nothing so far, it's a great product and easy to navigate and use.

What do you like best about the product?
Biggest upside for me is having my Salesforce data backed up automatically. Can easily compare backups to find data changes. Alerts are great to notify of large amounts of changes that might have gone unnoticed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints or problems so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatic data backup instead of Salesforce's manual backup. Peace of mind that if I ever have to restore data it will be a much simpler process.

Archiving data. Backing up data for us and archiving the massive amount of data we have

What do you like best about the product?
Implementation is quick. Integration with Salesforce is very straigth forward; even when sandboxes are refreshed. Easy to work with. Great features like seeding, template creation, permissions report and also reports from completed backups. Customer Support is fast and very efficient. We use it all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that when I need to reauthenticate a sandbox, after it was refreshed, it creates it as a new service.

Own is the company's our main backup tool for Salesforce.
Easy to use Product with Great Service
What do you like best about the product?
Own has been lifesaver when it came to archiving and backing up our org data. It saved my company so much money to use their services. It was super easy to implement and the support team have been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many downsides that come to mind when it comes to using Own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an easy and cost effective way to backup our Salesforce org and Own was the way to go. We were also running out of storage space in our Salesforce org and using Own's Archive application was significantly cheaper than just buying more storage outright.

Everyone from Own has been super helpful when onboarding to a new product such as Archive and support the enhancement of our Backup implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Own or it's products. If a feature you want does not exist, they will bring the request back to the Product team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduce the amount of data storage in our Salesforce orgs which will result in an more efficient Salesforce org once all old data is removed.

Implementing Own was one of the best experiences I've had in 20+ years.
Sales reps were open and transparent. No promises that weren't kept.
Negotiating and closing the contract was straight forward.
Setup was as easy as you could imagine. Literally just a few clicks.
Training covered everything in one 60 min session.
And for the most important part: it is easy to use and just delivers. Restoring records that were (accidentally) deleted months ago takes minutes and is straight forward.
This would all be possible using Salesforce's export and import functions but Own makes it a lot easier and safer.
Highly recommended!
