Best to backup all business data with clicks
What do you like best about the product?
It is fast, reliable and also send email of everything that go wrong even in future.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should not ask for check metadata changes everytime for backup .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing business data, daily/weekly backup/ confidence that Salesforce can go offline anyday but our client data remain safe.

Super easy to set up and manage
What do you like best about the product?
Simple set and forget! Very little to manage on a day to day basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to piece through so much data when needed. Since I haven't had to dig into it much it can be a learning curve to figure out when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure quick backup solution for all data. I don't have to worry about managing any backups on a day to day basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd suggest spending some time demoing this with their team before jumping in. It can be hard to understand the value until something happens which means you might never "realize" the value but it is a good thing to utilize for the safe-mind it provides.

What do you like best about the product?
OwnBackup does what it is meant to do - it backups our Salesforce instance and gives me the peace of mind that our data and metadata are protected AND easy to access should we need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've yet to find a feature I don't like. Perhaps the only one is that I can't access the OwnBackup interface within Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce data and metadata are protected with OwnBackup. We're protected from user error, workflow error, deployment error, etc.

Once it's set up, you don't have to worry

The only downside was we were transition orgs and realizing one subscription didn't cover both of the orgs, but that was a short term problem

Offers peace of mind for data and metadata backup, helps us restore accidental deletions or field overwrites
So much more than just "BackUp" and will save you hours and days when Salesforce goes down...
What do you like best about the product?
Its like "iCloud" for Salesforce + Sandbox seeder. You can also restore the objects you want and not use some if they were corrupted. It is very easy to learn.. teach and use!! The Support folks and SE will help you set it up and design it based on their experience - not just a boilerplate install.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only minor issue is sometimes our favorite SE is East Coast time and is not available for West Coast time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Publicly Traded Company - needed a solution; also love the Sandbox Seeding and ability to see Opp changes as well as within minutes any data changes that were not expected.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you are using it for seeding sandboxes as well as just backups. Also, keep an eye on Opps being changed - you can do so much with this tool- When Pardot crashed Salesforce.. OwnBackup allowed the Org to get up and going again so fast!!

What do you like best about the product?
OwnBackup is a main cloud-to-cloud backup and restore merchant. They give secure, automated, daily backups of SaaS and PaaS data and in addition complex data look at and restore tools for catastrophe recovery. The arrangement additionally furnishes endeavors with the execution and revealing required to meet consistence controls in various businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Visual data management system is not good as Azure and AWS cloud services . Infact they provide deep understanding and visualization of data for management .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for custom alerts to get informed about when the data is changed and when it needs to get updates and stuff . Also it helps us to find our data archives and then easily recover the backups .

The tools provided by OwnBackup are very useful for data recovery and protection . Also it helps against data corruption .
Backup in style with OwnBackup!
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the greatest backup programs I have used for backing up my data. I love the feature that allows me to receive alerts if my data is being altered in any way, and i am also privy to the fact that I am able to see this information visually. I am able to get on and analyze the data, to see if there is anything going wrong, or if there were changes made, or if anything happened that should not have! The program is also very fast in recall time for retrieving data recoveries!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is one problem I have had with this program being the way that individuals are able to retrieve their data, or if they are trying to copy it. Putting this information into a sandbox has been a bit difficult for myself to figure out. I have done it, but it has been a headache to understand it for the first few times playing around with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program has made it possible for myself to do my job efficiently. I am able to quickly access data that I need to, and when there are changes by people I work with, if there are any changes, i am able to keep track of them. I also enjoy that the program is a secure platform, and because of that I am very comfortable using it without worrying about my data!
Easy, reliable backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
It just works! Setup is easy and thereafter backups are automatically taken care of. Restores are easy and quick too. The fact that OwnBackup backs up an org's metadata as well as the regular data is really valuable, too. We have several Salesforce orgs (and their associated Sandboxes) and we're able to back the whole lot up with a single OwnBackup instance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding what you want to restore can be a bit fiddly sometimes, especially if you're just looking for a single object or subset of things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a database backup solution in place already but the fact that OwnBackup does metadata too is really valuable for us. And the restores are much easier than our old solution.

Go for it - it's easy, quick and reliable.
OwnBackup - The Most Comprehensive Backup Platform for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
OwnBackup does a fantastic job backing up, recovering, and monitoring Salesforce platform data. The Smart Alert and Sandbox Seeding features are particularly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seeding production data to sandboxes based upon many-to-many relationships through junction objects is more complex and time-consuming than I would prefer. If the solution could be enhanced to do this in a more automated fashion, that would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OwnBackup works well for backup and disaster recovery as well as seeding data to developer sandboxes for ongoing development and testing.
Peace of Mind
What do you like best about the product?
It allows our Legal and IT teams to relax about data loss. We can be sure that everything is going to be there if Salesforce has any issues. Plus, we can rollback if something arises that we didn't anticipate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time it takes to winnow through all the data for specific items and try to get it back into production, or even a sandbox. After a bit of practice, it isn't too hard, but there is a learning curve, and in an emergency to recover, don't expect to be back on track in minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As stated above, it is solving issues about data retention for Legal and IT needs. Plus, we can archive old, expensive SF data, which the CTO loves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Unlimited storage and peace of mind make this a great product, that reduces costs such as storing Salesforce data that can be archived. Your legal and IT departments will breathe a sigh of relief.
