Smooth Onboarding and Organizational Efficiency
Reviewed on Aug 12, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really liked the onboarding process with Bynder; it was very smooth. They even followed up with emails and provided valuable support materials, which I found helpful. I like that the training was recorded and I can go back and re-listen. I also appreciate how easy it is to organize assets by grouping them together and managing permissions, which makes sharing assets straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder gives us a central library to keep all assets organized and we can easily share them with team members and external partners.

AI-Powered UX and Smooth Onboarding That Speeds Up Asset Management
Reviewed on Aug 12, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The AI features in the UX, allow us to move so much faster when it comes to leveraging our assets. Onboarding was smooth and clearly communicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a reason to dislike Bynder, but we ran into an issue where some of our images didn't upload in the migration process as we would batch upload images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to find new types of imagery and really use our full asset library as opposed to just our go-to imagery.

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful platform and very customizable, at a lower price point than our previous DAM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features which seem obvious are unavailable, no visibility on when/if they will be developed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of assets, sharing of the assets both within and outside the organization, transformations and optimizations to display them across our channels.

certain customization options and integrations could be more flexible, and the search functionality could be more intuitive when managing large asset libraries.

Our workflows are more efficient, content is delivered faster, and we can focus more on high-value tasks instead of manual asset management

Simplified Image Calls with Easy Filename-Based Access
Reviewed on Aug 06, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
From a site perspective, it's way easier to only use the filename to call the image vs the complete URL as we did before
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I really don't like for now is that to purge an asset, we need to reach out to your support team. With our previous tool, we could do it ourselves with a CTA on the platform directly,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have 2 tools for the images (one for the CS team and another one for the site). Now everything is in one place which is great.

Clear and organized onboarding process. User-friendly software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a collaborative software workspace - would like a DAM system to house working files, not just final files.

Needs Improvement

What do you like best about the product?
What I liked most is the clean UI. Being able to customize the UI and extend the platform to customize it per our needs. Onboarding was simple via the use of SFTP and CSV files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Duplicates search was useless.
AI search sucks, there's no point in using it.
Colour search should be able to filter by transparent
Our login page and hompage loads very slowly. Those images should be cached.
seobaseurl requires a support ticket to create? Why isn't that set by default, or why isn't that attribute customer accessible?
Disabled user accounts can be disabled need to be disabled for a minimum time? Why? An accidentally disabled account causes need for a support ticket and downtime for a user. If you suspect an organization for seat swapping to save on licenses, call them out on it, or build better policies to protect yourself from it. Don't make silly rules like this. If I wanted to seat swap I could create a new user with a plus email.
Assets that have brackets are not searchable by the terms that are inside those brackets.
I've onboarded many systems and products. This is the first time that I've even been asked to submit a support ticket during the onboarding process. Any issue that arises during onboarding should be fully handled by the product lead and not by the customer. Only after onboarding is completed should the customer be expected to submit support tickets. I am very disappointed.

As a system administrator, Bynder helps centralize digital assets and enforce governance, permissions, taxonomy, and SSO in a single platform instead of managing content across multiple file shares and repositories. This reduces administrative overhead while making it easier for users to find and share approved content without IT involvement

Solid DAM platform with good AEM integration potential
Reviewed on Aug 04, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The documentation was very clear and detailed. The UCV (Universal Compact View) is the standout feature: it’s a well-designed, embeddable widget that handles authentication, browsing, filtering, and asset selection in one self-contained component. We integrated it into AEM dialogs with relatively little code—no server-side OAuth and no custom UI to build—so authors simply get a familiar Bynder interface directly inside AEM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much, folder structure can be added for high level grouping
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All approved assets are in one place. Authors no longer have to hunt across shared drives, Slack threads, or old DAM folders to find what they need.

Simple Navigation and Effortless, Polished Landing Pages
Reviewed on Aug 03, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how simple it is to navigate the platform. They make it genuinely easy to add assets and just as easy to find them later. The UI/UX also makes creating landing pages feel effortless, while still helping them look polished and professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not sure there’s anything I truly dislike. The backend taxonomy process takes a bit of getting used to when I need to add or modify items, but I expect that will improve with time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve never had a centralized place where both marketing and design could access our assets. Bringing everything into one platform will save us time and money, and it also makes it much easier to search for exactly what we need.
