What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about Bynder is how user-friendly it is. The platform is easy to navigate, and I appreciate how customizable it is (landing pages user permissions, etc).

The AI facial recognition and smart search queries are huge time-savers and make it much easier to find the right assets quickly. The ability to remove duplicates is also a huge time and space saver. I also love the third-party waiting room feature because it allows external users to access files without needing a login or training, which simplifies collaboration.

Finally, Bynder Express has been an excellent addition. Having a simple, secure way to transfer large files has been incredibly helpful for our team.

What do you dislike about the product?

My biggest frustration with Bynder is the pricing model. It feels inflexible, especially for long-term customers. Through Webdam, we were able to sync our Getty Images downloads to automatically upload to a folder on the DAM. We asked if this was possible in Bynder. Not without an additional fee.

Even something as simple as adding an additional administrator comes with added costs. In our case, because we're merging with another organization, we wanted to add someone there as an admin. However, adding an admin user would require not only additional licensing fees but also restarting our internal legal, finance and contracting processes. That creates a significant administrative burden for what feels like a relatively small change.

I also wish there was more flexibility for long-standing customers. We've invested in the Webdam platform for a decade, and now have moved to Bynder and value what it offers, but the lack of accommodation for evolving organizational needs is disappointing. As our merged organization evaluates digital asset management systems in the future, pricing and scalability will be important factors in that decision.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are still transitioning from Webdam, but Bynder will significantly improve the way we manage and share digital assets. Especially compared to our previous DAM, which functioned more like an online folder system. Instead of relying on users to remember where files are stored, Bynder makes assets easy to find through AI facial recognition, smart search and robust metadata.

It has also streamlined collaboration across our organization and with external partners. Features like the third-party waiting room and Bynder Express allow us to securely share assets without requiring everyone to have a user account or extensive training. This saves time, reduces administrative work and helps ensure people have access to the right assets when they need them.

Overall, Bynder has made our digital asset library more organized, searchable and accessible, allowing our team to spend less time hunting for files and more time creating and delivering content.

What do you like best about the product?

I found Bynder easy to migrate to from our previous system, and it's user-friendly. It's quite easy to use and looks good. It seems to be quite fast and effective. The migration was quite flexible, allowing us to use the API to move all our assets. We also use the Storyblock plugin, which I think is the most important feature for us. Moreover, I appreciate the huge support we received, including regular meetings, which made the setup process extremely easy and convenient for us.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think we didn't find some solutions for managing multilingual assets, like assets for which we'd like descriptions in different languages or titles in different languages. That is an option to use taxonomy, but we didn't find it very effective.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bynder helps me manage multiple assets like images and data sheets, making them available for download or use on the website.

What do you like best about the product?

Christian and Stephanie were extremely helpful throughout the onboarding process. They were very dedicated and kept us on track as we worked toward deployment.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, everyone loves it. It’s easy to learn, and it’s just as easy to show others how to use it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The number refers to the price. It was within our budget, and I feel like we’re getting a lot for it as well.

What do you like best about the product?

AI face recognition, the uploading tool, and the overall support your receive when starting it up. We had 180,000+ assets to migrate and Bynder's team made it so incredibly easy for us to knock these out with their knowledge of the tool!

What do you dislike about the product?

The only downside is the migration from Webdam to Bynder being a hassle.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Webdam's performance over the years has gotten iffy and has become slightly difficult to use for our company's departments, so we needed to set up a modern tool that would help our entire company find things easier, and not just our Creative team. Bynder's home page has been our perfect fix! Our goal is to allow our coworkers to self-serve a bit easier and we've already seen a change in ease-of-use before we have even soft launched!

What do you like best about the product?

I really like that we can search by name and find people or images that were sorted with that name, making it easy to find older images. The functionality that allows you to choose what you're looking for and filter the search is extremely helpful. It makes looking for assets and completing our work easier, and it makes the process more friendly both for us and for people who don't have the same expertise in looking for assets.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bynder saves us time by streamlining the search for assets with its taxonomy and filter features. It makes finding specific images easier, reducing headaches and making the process more friendly even for those less familiar with asset management.

What do you like best about the product?

I use Bynder as our digital asset management tool for storing our company's media, like images, videos, graphics, and documents. I really appreciate the search tool because it helps me find images easily by searching with tags instead of having to dig through folders. This is incredibly useful as someone new to the company for getting the media I need for projects. I also found our onboarding manager, Rachel Jang, to be incredibly helpful, offering ideas for how we could use the tool. The support I received during the initial setup made the experience wonderful.

What do you dislike about the product?

Once we completed our migration of all our assets, we realized that the file names would be an issue, since some of the files were not updated to reflect their contents. For example, some images have a filename 'IMG_,' but if we wanted to search by a specific farm that has corn, it would be easier to have it named 'Bob's Corn Farm_2026', etc. So now, to make these edits, we can only bulk-edit 20 images. Some of these groups have over 100 images and media, so it will be time-consuming for us to name them all.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bynder helps us find images more easily with its search tools, lets us create a branding guide for users, and facilitates easier access to images for staff without direct requests.

What do you like best about the product?

The folder free system that uses metadata to categorise assets. This allows a single asset to appear in different ways with different filters. No more duplicates!

What do you dislike about the product?

The migration tools from Webdam to Bynder are lacking and tedious. Thankfully there are other approaches such as the Mass Uploader and API tools which work much better.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bynder allows us to have a single source for all digital assets, searchable by all stakeholders both inside and outside of our organisation.

What do you like best about the product?

I really appreciate the AI features and the many options available for finding an asset. Everyone on the Bynder staff has been extremely kind, knowledgeable, patient, and supportive throughout.

What do you dislike about the product?

The notification area for waiting room assets could be more informative. I wish it provided more details about who uploaded each item, and that it would re-notify us if a group of assets has been sitting in the waiting room for more than a couple of days.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The searchability of assets and being the centralized source of truth for our assets.

What do you like best about the product?

The fact that it is one single source of truth, with everything integrated from brand book, to templates, from image library to asset campaigns. It helps our organisation to move from a very fragmented infrastructure to a much streamlined and controlled set-up

What do you dislike about the product?

Users need more time to get familiar with the platform due to its complexity. But with the right training, it is an obstacle easy to overcome

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bynders solved the fragmented infrastructure we had so far, with tools and platforms added randomly over the years. Having everything under one roof supports our efforts in enhancing brand consistency and integrity. The AI component also plays a key role in the platform's adoption.

What do you like best about the product?

Bynder makes it very simple to bulk upload assets into one platform no matter what format or size. Upon upload, segmenting products and assigning meta properties are very simple and straightforward.

What do you dislike about the product?

It would be cool to see more options on the home page interface.

Bynder is helping us get all of our assets under one roof and out of the inconsistent folder structures across multiple environments.
