A comprehensive and UX forward DAM
What do you like best about the product?
The UX is very intuitive and easy for new users to onboard. Assets, collections and brand guidelines are simple to access and this simple interface increases user uptake and productivity. The customer service and onboarding team are very responsive; any issues we had were quickly and efficiently resolved. Bynder integrates with multiple other systems we used e.g. PIM and CRM, which helped add to a seamless content workflow process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still areas where functionality can be added, for example customisable homepages depending on user type, however this is in the Bynder roadmap. I expect to see Bynder excelling in the coming years as the product matures and develops.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Siloed content and teams struggling to share assets across multiple conflicting channels. Bynder allows users to access the most up to date, correct assets and keeps an archive of older assets for when they are needed.

Onboarding team is great. Step by step training for setup made everything much easier

We require a lot of storage but don't neccisarily need some of the extra features.

What do you like best about the product?
From my initial inquiry through implemention, my experience with the folks at Bynder has been nothing but A+. Bynder as a DAM is intuitive, easy to use and even easier to set-up. But what really makes Bynder steller is the support you recieve from the team. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, super helpful and just all around great to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to come up with any cons for Bynder but I don't like reviews that don't have any so if I have to be super picky, it would be nice to have some more design options for collections and just sharing assets in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently do not have a DAm we have a mix of Google drive folders and project management systems. Bynder is already making us more effecient at identify content gaps we have and version control.
Bynder Platform Onboarding Process
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is an outstanding platform for managing digital assets. The user experience is excellent and very easy to navigate. Our Customer Onboarding Manager, Marilu Ortiz, conducted an onboarding process that was exceptional. She made the implementation seamless and provided a thorough explanation of the platform, helping us improve how we manage our digital assets.
We also use SSO integration with EntraID, which was straightforward to set up and highly effective for user management. The technical support from Tony and Jaakko was crucial during the asset upload process.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Everything was wonderful with both the platform and the implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Bynder we are improving the process of managing our digital assets and their publication on our web portals
Fantastic service from Bynder!
What do you like best about the product?
We chose the product as it was really impressive, and we had great communication and support with Angela when showing us all of the offerings that Bynder had. We particurlarly likes the Asset Workflow and the overall feel of the DAM for it's ease of use.
For the onboarding, Shelly and Carina were really fantastic - they were so personable, but also really knowledgeable and supportive whenever we had questions (we had a lot!).

Bynder Experience (so far)
What do you like best about the product?
Sandy Harris and Ben Purzak were not only helpful during our onboarding process, they were upbeat and positive throughout. They were also patient us as we waited on our IT team for certain steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features seem limited. For example, when trying to identify duplicate images the software recognizes different images as duplicates. AI tagging/searching is hit-or-miss and light on vocabulary that it will search by (hoping it improves, but I understand it is using Amazon's system).
We weren't happy with the sales process. After signing, we discovered some of the features or functionality were more limited/less powerful than what was described. It also felt like our sales person was always selling Bynder to us even after we had already signed the contract. I did not feel they listened or understood our needs and made assumptions about what would be most valuable to us. They were less aggressive than Brandfolder's sales people, but they pushed what felt like artificial deadlines when we were at the mercy of other factors/decision makers. I'm familiar with the sales tactic of always having the next meeting or step set up to close the deal, but it was fatiguing and time-consuming when they always wanted a set up a call for us to report that we weren't ready to move forward yet.

Onboarding process with Bynder was smooth and fast.
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is a powerfull DAM with a very good search engine. Because we work with partners in more than 80 countries, it really helps that Byder offers its UI in multiple languages. As an administrator it is very easy to maintain and adjust the systems to our requirements.
The unboarding process with Marlot Noordzij and Björn Burger was very helpfull. Their help and assitance helped us to be up and running in just a few weeks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sofar, we have not experienced any downsides with Bynder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offer a single source for our assets and documents. Because Bynder is multilingual and has a powerfull search engine, it will help our partners to find what they need fast and always have acces to the most recent documents.

Resolution issues when syncing with Sanity and uploading versions sometimes does not work or takes a while

We use bynder to sync with Sanity when we create websites so bynder is great for us to grab images and assets.
Robust DAM with excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility that Bynder offers. I like that you can self serve to change taxonomy and user permissions. It is also very easy to upload multiple files into the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using Dynder is the time that it will take to get it fully populated and operational for our organization.

Our assets are all over the place and requires a search for anything you are looking for. It has caused problems not having all of our assets in one central location for all the consume.
