Multibrand hous migration to Bynder
What do you like best about the product?
I guess the best part of the Bynder is the ecom connection. The assets can be linked to different website easily.
The tool looks to be also fast to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult taxonomy work, unclear user group levels. Restrections are not easy to understand.
Not easy to implement or integrate as there is not mass metadata updaload functionality.
Features are not easy to find.
Future customer support feels unclear.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital asset management, storing, sharing etc. for 20 brands. globally internally and externally.
A great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is very intuitive and will enable us to be more efficient and waste less time searching for our photos. The tagging and AI system adds a real plus to the tool.
We'd like to thank Jade and Juliette who helped us with the onboarding. They understood our needs very well and were able to adapt as best they could to ensure that our use of Bynder was as complete as possible.

What do you dislike about the product?
For the moment, we can't see any negative points about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder allows us to gain in speed thanks to tagging and AI. We spend much less time looking for a particular photo in our database.
Ideal DAM migration!
What do you like best about the product?
Despite my initial concerns - the ability to have everything stored in one central place and then be able to filter down specifically makes a huge difference. I saw that we had thousands of duplicate files in our old DAM, which is a result of a messy and out-of-control folder structure which was clearly in need of some love - and migrating it all onto Bynder whilst keeping the metadata in place essentially futureproofs our asset management.
The onboarding team of Shelly and Rosali were incredibly helpful (and patient!) in addressing what feels like an endless stream of questions from me and made the move over as easy as possible, particularly given the very niche features that I wanted to implement!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside from me is that images aren't able to be displayed in full-resolution on preview - but this seems like it can be mitigated by increasing the size of assets when displayed as a group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing and making easily available hundreds of thousands of images from a wide array of businesses and areas. Integrating into our website and creating a seamless workflow for adding images to our site and making sure only the very best content is seen. It's also helping us with not having to constantly download and resize/reformat images by having fully customizable download derivatives.

What do you like best about the product?
It's early days as we have just had our onboarding handover. The portal is user friendly; easy to navigate and use from search, upload and download functionality. The space is clean and uncluttered, so not an overwhelming experience.
The Onboarding experience was fantastic. Trepidation I felt initally dissipated quickly due to the skills and knowledge, friendliness and responsiveness of our Onboarding Manager Amanda Ismail (Izzy). Her patience was very appreciated as well. Izzy is approachable and maintains composure and a sense of humour. It was a pleasure to work with her.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is some portal slowness/lag from time to time. I would like to see some additional functionality (and Hex to PMS conversion or options would be useful when updating the look and feel to align with corporate branding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Opportunities for collaboration and improved ability to capitalise on asset longevity, and in forward planning. Streamlining asset searches with centralisation of material with metadata and associated assets.
We knew we needed a DAM but didn't know we needed Bynder.. yet.
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has a unique way of managing assets and security and is a bold competitor in the world of Digital Asset Management. While we are only taking advantage of the "vanilla" DAM without bells and whistles, I can see us expanding into various integrations and add ons in the near future. Even the base package is rich with easy to use, powerful file sharing tools. It even includes Bynder Express which is a quick and easy replacement for the "messy purse" of file transfer platforms our various employees have been using. The onboarding program was phenomenal with an extremely knowledgable onboarding specialist who was also an excellent teacher. I'm sure their process insures a higher rate of customer success among their clientele while limiting product abandonment and avoidable tech support issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Load time for pages varies but seems to have been improving over time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we needed to solve was to have multiple listings and collections for the same assets without having to make actual digital copies of these assets. This made management a nightmare as we're serving a number of dealers, internal corporate, dealership sales teams and vendors who create ads and content for everyone. Now we have easy ways to curate these collections, keep them up to date, and share them.
A very robust system
What do you like best about the product?
Able to create a flexible access/abilities for users at all levels, download settings are very custom, ease of uploading assets from entities outside the company without granting unnecessary access.
Customer support team is awesome - made themselves available at a moments notice and were generous with their time. Set up and customization is easy. There are a lot of support materials available and numerous opportunities for learning via webinars.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the waiting room would allow for being able to tag items and return later to complete the tagging, or allow for multiple users on the admin team to tag their specific metadata, rather than requiring all tags being completed at once. EX: have sets of assets fully tagged by core team, then legal can come through, review tagging and add in usage rights as final step.
Autotagging is very awkward -actually have to go in and delete numerous tags - thinking we will turn off the feature - at least it is optional.

square download capabilities take resize requests off our designers' plates; search and filter capabilities are modern and easily understood by new/occasional users.
So far, so good. We are just starting with Bynder but we have had a good experience so far.

Bynder Onboarding process (2023)
What do you like best about the product?
Austin and Dean were fantastic: they brought enthusiasm and energy to every meeting. Not only did they do an excellent job going through everything, but they answered and directly addressed all of our questions during the onboarding process. They felt very authentic and invested in getting us onboarded, and our working relationship was great from start to finish.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a whole lot, at times some of the training was extremely detailed - which honestly is not really a bad thing. But that's about it, nothing major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The #1 thing Bynder is solving for us is getting assets into the hands of our employees quickly and effortlessly. It's a powerful, private tool that is going to cut down on the amount of time it takes for employees to find things.
Seamless Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I was most impressed with our onboarding team as they helped us to implement and refine the use of Bynder during a company rebrand. The support was impeccable and the ease of integration into our daily processes was seamless. Moreover, the program itself is user-friendly, and there is a ready amount of resources on hand should they be needed. We are extremely happy with Bynder as a digital asset platform and look forward to seeing how Bynder will assistance in our company's continued growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would need to have more experience with Bynder overall to better give an opinion on what I do not like about the platform. At this juncture, I would say I do not have any comments that speak negatively towards the platform and what it has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By implementing Bynder into our daily processes, we are pulling together assets that will live in one single location versus several. It will serve as a repository for licensor-approved assets that will be available for various uses from product development, social marketing, signage, etc.
Great for Organizing Work
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to upload and set up / tag images with metadata. Setting up with the onboarding team was easy and robust, with weekly meetings. Integrating it into our workflow has been seemless and we frequently use it now for sharing assets both internally and externally - no more multiple instances of the same file in different Google Drive folders!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the mass verion updater tool doesnt work so you have to go through each file manually and reupload. Would be good if you could link to a file from a pop-up since the file was already uploaded once.
