The DAM You've Been Looking For - Excellent Onboarding and Easy Sharing

  • May 21, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite things about Bynder is how easy it makes it to share assets with your entire company. There's no more searching all over for where assets are, it's on Bynder and because of the way our tagging system is set up it's super easy for users to self-service and search by SKU, brand, product name, in use photography etc.

The onboarding process was a bit long, but everything was handled really well and they were very supportive of getting it set up in a way that works for us. When users upload images we have required fields and options that makes keeping the data clean easier and keeps everything organized.

Even after set up, the Bynder team is very responsive to any questions or support needed.

It's intuitive for new users and meets all of our needs well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any DAM there are always things that can be improved. I'd say we most look forward to new features being added.

Specifically, I would love an option to upload a excel list and have everything tagged with that pulled into a collection. It would make it much faster to create collections with a large number of images that we want to share externally with distributions etc.

But overall no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to access all of our assets in one place and allows employees, vendors, etc to self-serve when needing images, videos, etc.

Good asset system with a lot of options.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy in use, several options, clear instructions by the onboarding team (Bjorn Burger, Rosali Aldana). Nice team to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Studio only works for online content, not for print. strange that it is a seperate item.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is a place where all our content can be stored in one location. Easy to share all over the world. Also easy to use. Easy to create region specific content by the studio.

Good tool and an amazing team behind it!

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is a powerful tool that helps us keep track of all the marketing and sales enablement assets that we currently have available. I love the way we can use versioning to avoid duplicates, making sure the system is clean and clear to use. The search function is super powerful as it's searching in assets, titles, descriptions and tags.
We've recently done an audit with Bynder and it was great, we've received many ideas on how to do things and which integrations would be helpful, but next to that I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of work that was picked-up. The team has been a great support in the clean-up our system and getting it ready for our marketing coworkers to start using it. Every question that I had was picked-up with diligence and even after official sign-off I feel the team are still open to help my cause into making Bynder better for our companies' purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I notice our team has to get used to not having a folder structure. We've set-up our taxonomy in a way to accomodate for this, but it's still on the wishlist of my coworkers. Furthermore, we were slightly disappointed with the SDFC integration as there is a limit on the SFDC side that will not allow us to pull in assets over 12MB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder gives us the ability to link to other systems to feed assets to them. It's our main source of truth for assets, which is our main purchasing reason. Marketing materials in general are hard to keep track of and Bynder allows us to always display the most recent version (within the same link).

After a recent ownership change extremely grateful the company stayed with Bynder

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process was suberb. The team assigned to our account (Ryan and Rachel) were extremely helpful and provided us with all the information we needed to suceed with our new integration. The team met weekly with me to review all features and went above and beyond in between the meetings to assist and help with anything needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not having any I dislike at this moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder helps us to organize our creative assets. Becuase of bynder we work much more efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
Creation of collections and sharing with clients. Ability to relate assets to consent forms. Searchabilty through Smart Filters
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited AI searching tools. The ability to create and share a collection without savings contained assets in Bynder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing assets in one solution and improved searchability

Best onboarding experience with any software platform

What do you like best about the product?
Ben and Andrea were an amazing team to help with Admin onboarding. They truly worked as a team, complementing each other's knowledge and skills. I also felt as though I had a partner throughout the entire process.

I have yet to roll Bynder out to our firm, but I feel very prepared to take charge of the platform from top to bottom.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking assets into documents and presentations would be better than downloading. That way when an asset version is updated within Bynder, The system can give document owners the option to update their working file to use the latest version of the asset. Downloading creates a lot of old assets to remain in existance after they have been updated in Bynder.

Also - need to give clients the option to extend the login refresh rate to 15 or thirty days. Having to re-login after 30 min is very inefficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the platform makes it very easy to filter assets based on very specific parameters that are set up in the taxonomies

Most intuitive DAM I've used in my 25 year career

What do you like best about the product?
I love the search filters and now the AI search takes it to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't manipulate metadata in bulk via spreadsheet without getting Bynder involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our central location for all of our company's digital assets. It is intergrated with a lot of different systems allowing us to only have to manage our assets in one place. If we change something on the asset within Bynder it automatically pushes that change out to our other systems.

What do you like best about the product?
We are just getting started with Bynder but I am grateful for the onboarding process that we just completed. It allowed us to create a foundation that I expect will help us get the most from the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point I can't evaluate what I dislike about Bynder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is allowing us to better organize, access and share our digital assets.

Great Customer Experience

  • May 07, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
As a platform, Bynder is much more than just a DAM. We utilse a variety of the tools available, including brand guidelines, studio and workflow and have found each to save us time and money, and to have made our internal processes smoother. We very much value the ability to customise the tools, and the user friendly way that the back-end is built which enables us to do that seemlessly. However, by far the customer experience is what we value the most. We have found the Bynder team approachable, knowledgeable and always willing to help - and this has been invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bynder doesn't have the prettiest UI - which will make some creatives balk - but I would take the functionality over the looks anyday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder makes it easy for us to share assets with third party vendors - and for internal teams to find the assets that they require independently. We also use Bynder workflow - which allows us to much more easily keep a track of comments and approvals on assets.

A great DAM and excellent customer service

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has excellent customer service. They frequently update and improve their platform. It was easy to set up for our organization's needs. The template function has been widely adopted by our organization. Software issues are extremely rare.
What do you dislike about the product?
Template function is clunky and takes a bit of a learning curve. Updating home page is not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a source of truth for our collateral, having an easily-searchable DAM, easy way to share assets either with public or internally, template creation.
