Great User Interface – Great Team
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use and intuitive interface. It's scaleability. Customer support and integration. Available API and it's plugins to integrate with, eg the LinkrUI plugin for Adobe Creative Cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features aren't as self service as I'd like, eg. Automatic AI tagging not available on the mass uploader and the ability to mass change attributes via CSV; however customer support is always obliging therefore this hasn't been too much of a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder provides a single source of truth for all our creative assets and photography. The robust taxonomy ensures users can easily find the assets they are looking for and there are excellent control to restric assets from users that shouldn't be accessing them. As a result we have fewer people running around sourcing and recropping assets for people in the business, and the risk of missusing creative assets, especially around talent licensing has been reduced.
Our eCom images are also stored in the DAM and the DAT URL feature controls and streamlines how our photography is served online improving load speeds for our visitors and steamlining internal processes to upload or re-issues to our website.

Still learning about the platform, with the help of Bynder colleagues
What do you like best about the product?
I have found that the customer service has always been helpful, and usually in a timeley manner. That my improvement ideas get accepted and noted for future updates to the platform.
The platform as a whole is valuable to our institution, where we can host a plethora of materials for colleagues to access, download and even share assets internally and externally.

What do you dislike about the product?
Whilst my feedback is taken on board, sometimes the lack of personalisation or workarounds to use Bynder how we would like to make things easier for ourselves and for colleagues, can be hinder-some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder helps more of our colleagues self serve, which gives out designer more time to work on bigger projects, and save us a little money from using external agencies.
I work at the marketing department. We work with Bynder and train people in our organization.
What do you like best about the product?
That everyone can easily create images in our branding.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can make errors (e.g. images in the wrong size) and some people don't notice that before publishing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That people in our organization all use the templates we provide instead of using their own tools to creatively make their own images.

Some of the features are a bit clucky, although I know this is on their roadmap to fix these issues.

Functional and Intuitive DAM!
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has allowed us to consolidate our visual assets and bring visibility of said assets to everyone in the company. It has really streamlined workflows! The filtering system makes it quick and easy to locate the files we are looking for, and one of the best features for sharing content has been the ability to create collections and share those without requiring a login. This system is flexible and easy to use, and we were glad to see that we could implement it easily with some of the PIMS we are considering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, when managing a lot of data the platform is slow or stops working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing assets with partners outside the organization and communicating with internal teams.
The ability to set up and download images in many different sizes has streamlined workflows and empowered our sales teams to independently get the images that they need which streamlines workflows and makes us more efficient.

Solid Media Hub
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can add your media to bynder with tags to make it easy to locate. I also really enjoy the fact that you can add extra versions to your uploaded content in case you have different versions associated with it. This makes organizing easy. I use bynder all the time because it saves me a lot of time locating it on drives or other storage locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Bynder can be a little slow at times but then again, we usually push it to the limit with some of the files we are pulling in at once so overall the pros of the software outweigh the cons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder allows me to share content between departments so we can utalize a gameplan all while staying on the same page. I thing Bynder is the most critical software we have added to our company. It has been a major help to us over the years.
Makes things easy to fine
What do you like best about the product?
The tagging system + filteres make finding specific images very easy — i.e. I can search for a specific product that is featured in a photo, even if that file name isn't specific to the item.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be helpful if some of the tags were automated, so I could refine my search on images that haven't necessarily been tagged by my team. But, this would be difficult to refine without errors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder allows easy access to all of our brand's imagery, with helpful tags, and more importantly — a dedicated space that shows the image's rights, so we don't accidentally use a photo that the rights have expired for.
