Bynder On-boarding process
What do you like best about the product?
The on-boarding team was great. Structured and clear. Conner was excellent in his support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool seems a little underdeveloped. Big gaps in output file types, especially from the animation templates. Also the lack of integration with the print module was disappointing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single source for the marketing and communications team for brand assets. Self-serve of for the social and digital marketing team using Studio for asset creation.
Bynder onboarding experience at TSG
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding experience was great. Normally when you setup something new a lot of work is on you, but with Bynder their onboarding team setup the whole system for us based on our wishes and we just got the keys and moved in. Great shoutout to Bjorn and Adam from Bynder, they really helped us get everything up and running and they were incredibly patient with all our requests and chaotic timings. You could not wish for a better onboarding team. Now the system is up and running and it's working wonderfully, it's fast, easy, it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
System is incredibly powerful but mainly build for larger companies that require more restrictions. I think for smaller companies, it would be even more useful if it could be adapted to a different way of working (small teams versus big companies), mainly in terms of user permissions (maybe smaller companies do not require such "corpo" structure for every feature). The system is wonderful, this would just make it even greater.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a gaming company we deal with big amounts of assets developed by various teams. This system allows us to centralise whole company's assets, give people from various teams better insights into what has already been done and what can be reused thus saving time and money.
Experienced and helpful onboarding team!
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support has been great - we truly feel supported and that we have had a true partnership throughout onboarding. The platform is also very flexible and we've been able to customize to our complex needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would really like to have Impersonate available at the admin level to make testing easier. Would also like to have features to mass update backend administrator tasks easier (metaproperty visability settings) and have ability to auto-show all assets in the DAM to admins (would save a lot of time).

Good Cost-Benefit
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder's interfase is easy to navigate; the cost-benefit equation is positive; easy to manage

Poor analytics module; API can only push data (no pull option)

Have a central repository for digital assets; easy distribution of assets; creation of simple brand sites;
Easy Implementation & Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Implementation was super easy! The implementation team was a pleasure to work with and supported us every step of the way! The platform is easy to use and everything is pretty self-explanatory. Bynder's DAM and Brand Guidelines were exactly what our team needed right now and there are a number of other features that we'll likely explore in the future. GettyImages seamlessly integrated with our DAM and there's an AdobeCC plug-in that we're working to implement. Our team will be using this platform on a daily basis and it will greatly improve our productivity – no more searching through folders and folders of files, giving up, and purchasing a new asset from Getty; Everything's in Bynder now!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. So far, I like everything about Bynder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is creating a single source of truth for our team's tens of thousands of assets and making it extremely easy to locate those assets.

What do you like best about the product?
I think despite ease of use being a massive benefit for our end users the best thing about Bynder has been the onboarding/implementation process. With Jakob Spott & Björn Burger not only providing help and being on hand throughout the process but also helping us define and tailor the platform to our business across the multitude of areas we cover.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative I can think of is the cost for Adobe CC integration but this is solely based on the fact we only have several users who would use this feature. Whereas, if this resource was used by more people within a company I can see the value of this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue we face is slow server where our assets are stored. Having Bynder takes searching for an image amongst our directory from 20/30 mins to 20 seconds.

The ability to customize it to fit my needs.

It woudl be nice to be able to create folders instead of just tags

What do you like best about the product?
The plateform is very intuitive and easy to use by all teams.
The support for the implementation was great, thanks to Sandra and Connor, we had been able to customize the plateform capacity to our needs.
We are also aware of all future intégration that can be done with the team.

What do you dislike about the product?
Transfer to the Customer Success manager is not perfect, it took time to be able to schedule some very specific training.

One source of truth: we now know where is the latest version.
We can control the copyright and usage right of our photos.
We optimized our photoshoot, as all pictures are now avaible, and we also discover old photoshoots that can be used.

A fantastic way to organize all assets
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder offers a solution for all my digital asset management needs. They are also extremely helpful when it comes to support on any matter and quick to resolve any issues. After onboarding, the platform is easy and intuitive, also making integration seamless and simple. They understand that digital asset management isnt a one size fits all solution and worked with me to set my company up for growth. The customization is a really great feature, and we also love the Brand Guidelines which is very important for us. We will be utilizing Bynder daily and eventually it will be a huge resource to everyone, not just the marketing team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the only downside is the price, as I have been turned down by previous employers when I tried to get it approved. Luckily, my team sees the value in the platform and the sales team at Bynder worked with us to find a price that was right for our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had issues with finding assets in so many different folders on OneDrive and keeping version control. This fixes those problems, and also lets us share assets easily with people who wouldn't have had time or access to the old file storage method. It also houses our brand guidelines instead of a PDF that would need to be updated regularly and sent out via email.
Simple and Clean Asset Storage
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is an easy-to-learn, minimal interface that gives access and searchability to assets. It's extremely customizable so you can design it to make sense for your organization. It has a lot of great integrations as well (some work better than others) but ultimately they are worth it! After using Bynder, I don't see us needing to use another DAM system ever again. We just went through the whole implementation and it was a really great system. They made it much less daunting. So far customer support has been responsive as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few minor things that don't make sense or seem like they could easily be improved. The mobile app could be great but seems to be an after thought (still useful though). They are always adding new things so hopefully these minor inconveniences will be better in the future.
