Bynder Is a Fantastic Option
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is a great mid size, smaller enterprise level option for a DAM. The DAM has plenty of bells and whistles, that are easy to implement and provide plenty of features for our users.
The platform makes it easy to upload and find content, and easy to build dymanic filters that align to your metadata needs.The team at Bynder is easy to work with, always ready to tackle new solutions and provide great customer support. What I like best about Bynder is their team's willingness to jump in and collaborate on a resolution, or highlight new features as they come out.
Some of the best features Bynder provides are SmartFilters, an easy method to do user management and security profile permissions, and easy implementation of new taxonomy options.

What do you dislike about the product?
Our team has been growing over the past few years, and as such, we've come across growing pains in our company. While every company goes through growing pains, in some ways as we've grown, we've outpaced the features that Bynder has readily avaialble. The price point of upgrading our system to make more use of more features can be steep.
Reporting and Analytics have also been reoccuring pain points, as the built in analytics feature does not always provide the insights our users need, which leads to requesting custom reports from Bynder's Professional Services team - and additional cost.
Another point of frusteration for our users is the Guides feature. Guides are a fantastic feature for highlighting content - but the interface appears like an afterthought. For example, it's super easy to set up a guide - but it's also super easy to accidentally delete a page of guide, with no way of undoing the deletion, or retreiving the deleted page back.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is our primary solution for all our markerting needs. We use it to securely store, organize, and distribute content across the company and our external partners. As such, when Bynder invests into new features that our marketing team can use, it improves collaboration in our company, and increases confidence with our external partners. It seems the next frontier for further exploration is how Bynder makes use of AI, and expands those options to it's user base. They have some AI capabilities already, but they appear to be mostly reserved for higher tier customer options.

Bynder helps us keep all of our assets in one place and we love the use of the filters.

Sometimes our outside users don't use it to their full potential but searching with filters, etc.

Before we just had all our assets on our server with no search capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder provides a great way to easily see, sort, and filter the thousands of digital assets we have. I like the intuitive and stream-lined nature of the platform -- assets can be assigned robust metadata but the UI is not too cluttered or confusing.
I am also grateful for the numerous ways to partition access to assets to ensure file control.

What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there can be lags in loading a library of assets that require a refresh of the library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder provides a way for our organization to easily search, sort, and manage our large library of visual assets. The "versions" aspect of the library and Adobe and website integrations, has allowed us to streamline product and image updates.

When tagging isn't done properly the search functionality is challenging, assets become hard to find. Which we could add a "folder" system to simplify.

What do you like best about the product?
The studio environment of Bynder is convenient and everyone can use it immedialtely after a brief introduction.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to make sure that the asset area remains clear, since everyone want to upload their own documents. In the studio environment the option to format your picture is not on your 'first screen'. Lots of colleagues forget to crop their picture into the right size.

Now we have one environment were people can find all of our assets and they communicate in several countries within our brand identity.

What do you like best about the product?
the platform is very intuitive and also funcitonal. It's easy to manage and personalize and adapt to your needs.

Sometimes when managing a lot of data the platform is slow and collapses. You cannot use several tabs doing different actions at the same time.

Bynder is constantly improving and solving issues. The technical team is really helpful and the possibilities of Bynder are huge, every problem have differnet ways to offer a solution.
Easy for new users! Use cases keep expanding.

The ability to include additional files has been an extremely helpful feature, being able to include artwork files, transcripts, model release forms and so on to the system and being able to download all these files, including the original asset in just one click has been extremely benefical.
The support we recieved for inplementation was exceptional, Adam Trebski and Jade Rubio have been great from the get go. Extremely responsive, we had weekly calls but they were also happy to jump on a call whenever we needed some extra support. They were able to work through our requests to come up with some brilliant solutions. A seemless transition from our existing tool to Bynder. A huge thank you to them!

What do you dislike about the product?
Being able to build out multiple pages would be helpful! We want a home landing page which is what we have and works great but being able to navigate to different pages for different brands would be hugely benefical
Saving and sharing filters is really helpful, it would be helpful to be able to save and share a filter within a collection also.
It would also be helpful to be able to take a url from the top of the page of the search you're on to share the current page (filters and all) similar to being able to take the url from the top of the page on a collection. Instead we have publish lots of filters and take the link from the email link.

The ability to access assets from multiple different filters is extremely benefical. Previously we used a folder structure where assets couldn't sit in multiple places
