Good documentation and support channels.

There were some features that we were not aware of or clear on when we signed our agreement.

GatherContent is a powerful content collaboration and management platform
What do you like best about the product?
The best about this application is that it has a user-friendly user interface which makes it simple for both content makers and stakeholders to navigate. The thoroughly clean design and well-organized portions lead to a smooth user experience. For even those a newcomer to the program, the training curve is minimum, permitting teams to rapidly change and begin using GatherContent effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
However GatherContent is made to be user-friendly, and quite a few users may still experience a learning curve when first using the program. The number of attributes and customization alternatives may take time for it to fully understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best thing I like about this application is that managing a big amount of content can easily become frustrating, especially when it's distributed across different documents and platforms. GatherContent gives a centralized place for arranging and categorizing content, allowing it to be quite prominent and retrieve particular information. This centralized approach simplifies content management, being sure that content remains obtainable and arranged throughout the whole procedure.

What do you like best about the product?
That we have the ability to customize the portal ourselves. We don´t need to write a ticket everytime we want to change something.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe that we cannot 100% adapt everything to our needs. But that can also be helpful because it forces us to reduce the complexity of the setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding assets easily, sharing them instead of using WeTransfer and optimizing some workflows.
Bynder will help us to finally have a centralized marketing & product assets repository
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is intuitive to use for end users and reacts super fast to the applied filters. Selecting assets for download works as expected (using multiselect) and downloads are fast.
Categorizing and tagging the assets remains a hassle in itself, but Bynder offers plenty of possibilities to do that for large groups of assets - even offering ways to deals with exceptions to the group.

What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some effort to understand the logic behind setting up the taxonomy - some settings are not easily found/understood. Setting up the single sign on (for Azure) is not that difficult, but it would really have helped to have a platform specific help/instruction. Now we did spend quite some time on finding out ourselves.
The pricing of Bynder is quite high for SMB's, even though it seems competitive considering all the default features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with multiple divisions in multiple countries, all producing and wanting to share assets. Right now these are distributed with USB drives, OneDrive, SharePoint, WeTransfer, DropBox, etc. And of course stored in multiple versions, multiple times on multiple storeages. That not only makes it impossible to manage, but also is a business risk as users do no longer know which version of for example a product datasheet or product photo is the correct version.

Implementation was relatively pain-free and our implementation rep was wonderful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have like implementation to actually have included time for uploading assets to the DAM - I feel like that would have been a proper implementation (not just a training)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a DAM that would effectively organize and share our creative and marketing assets. We were upgrading from Google cloud storage.
Bynder was extremely helpful in learning how to use the DAM and upload/share our images

Bynder is a fully customizable platform allowing customers to create the DAM experience virtually however they like.

With the breadth of functionality Byder delivers, it can be an overwhelming platform. Fortunately, the onboarding process is thorough and engaging.

Delivering up-to-date and approved advertising assets to our customers, creating an easy-to-use self serve environment.
Helpful, Efficient and Innovative
What do you like best about the product?
Extensive taxonomy capabilities to help catalog, search and share assets quickly and easily. Collections help users to quickly curate and share assets - and gives flexibility because portal permissions apply differently.
What do you dislike about the product?
To manage the various user types and support our 'business within a business' organization, we have to build a very complex user group system and user management process. We would benefit from a more simple and customizable way to manage our users, which is not currently offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder gives all our global marketing and other content-creating teams a place to store, access, and share assets quickly and easily. Also offers cataloging and archive of assets to refer back to as needed. It also allows our external dealer network access the marketing assets for them to leverage in their retail-driving programs and initiatives.

What do you like best about the product?
Overall, Bynder is great. From the team who helps along the way to implement, inform, and oversee the creation of the DAM to the specifics of the system and how easy it is to store, find, and tag your assets to make things simpler and more accessible for everyone in your company! Our company had no internal structure, so items were stored in many places, and implementing Bynder has made this easier in so many ways... and it is beneficial for things that are not just photos and videos too! It is so nice having one central hub for all your information!
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many things to dislike about the Bynder platform, as it works very nicely. There were a few hiccups with the implementation, and the startup process that took a little while to resolve and sometimes needed nudging to get back to... also the limit between users and the breakdown of users and their permissions can be challenging, depending on the company. Overall there isn't much to dislike, just a few growing pains and working out the specifics for each company's needs!

Bynder has solved a significant content storing issue for our company. Before Bynder, we had no central content management and by using Bynder we now have a place for all users in the company to access, not only streamlining the entire process, but making it easier for everyone who is already very busy,
Great tool and excellent onboarding experience - thorough and responsive
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is intuitive, easy to use and easy to configure to your needs, without being an IT professional. This is a great tool for marketers and communicators who want to drive brand consistency and day-to-day efficiencies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a little clunky. Would like to see improvements in the interface of the Workflow module to allow for an agile-like experience. Front-end uploader struggles sometimes with bigger files.

Bynder is allowing us to create a connected digital ecosystem with a centralized asset library. It helps us drive brand consistency, enable our stakeholders to access current assets and improve our creative workflow.
