Clear & simple

  • March 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
crowd sourcing an editing job makes the work go faster. it's an efficient way to assign tasks to a group of people with checkpoints alerting owners to their due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
when a specific page was reviewed, the names of owners weren't always clear. If only one of the names needed to be checked off for the review yet there were four names listed, the item ended up going Overdue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we're solving a large editing project with hundreds of pages of content being delegated to teams of people efficiently and getting the content reviewed in a timely fashion, rather than having to print and share.

Excellent Software for Managing Content Projects

  • January 31, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We used to work in Word documents and Google docs, which can get messy and unorganized. GatherContent helps us keep all projects, pages, comments and edits in a single place. It's great to have stakeholders, writers and project managers view the same thing at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been anything specifically that's come up!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've streamlined our content creation and management for website products, which is something we worked to do for a few years.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take the time to train anyone who might be using it! Some people might be hesitant at first, but taking the time to walk them through the portal is key to making sure it's successful!

Good for collaborating and translating content

  • January 30, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Good for collaboration. Used to prep content for sitecore with multiple language versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Task and workflow management is pretty basic, would like more options like managing tasks at a tab level (not just an item level).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure content is structured for CMS but with ease of a WYSIWYG editor for writers and reviewers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Figure out back end wiring to your CMS before you commit to how you build items to avoid rework.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the bynder app, that helps to share press material directly at an appointment and to find pictures or press releases online.
What do you dislike about the product?
The productivity is improved and better than a year before, but sometimes there are still moments where it does not work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Public Relation Newsroom, sharing and knowing who opens collections.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Choose one person to be responsible for the product.

Easy to Implement

  • January 25, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to implement Bynder within an organization. Tagging, uploading, and general set up is really straight forward especially with the help of the incredible team at Bynder.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was a better (or included) way to build out a media page that you can easily send Media to. Something that is built out with your branding, and featured private collections for folks with the link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an issue with unapproved assets being used, and also assets being hard to find. It was left up to creative & project management to send (and re-send) assets over and over. So Bynder is giving us a way to easily approve and distribute assets within the company to cut down on time spent searching for them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend this software to other companies, as it was really easy (and quick) to implement. It will also save our department a lot of time and headaches when it comes to vouching for assets, making sure the correct assets are being used across all campaigns, and making sure we have the right information about certain assets.

One of the other really important features is the search bar. Currently, we don't have a way to search for our assets besides our folder structure--however if there are duplicates, misfiled photos, or folders that don't follow the current structure it gets hard to find that "one photo" people are looking for. Bynder saves us a lot of time by making it MUCH easier to find the particular photo you are looking for through tags and metadata.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

  • January 25, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our ability to securely store files and haev them readily available to the entire organisation is a revolution!
What do you dislike about the product?
No big dislikes, although we've not got it up and running fully yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our ability to store secure files now allows more efficient work flow for all the comms teams in the organisation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fantastic system for storing, sharing and carefully selecting who has access to your assets.

Bynder has changed the way we work

  • January 25, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is a helpful resource for keeping all digital assets in one place, online for staff members to use and easily shared outside the company. The Work Order section reduces cost and aids quality in our co-operation with our ad agency and has actually changed the way we work with our marketing material completly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find anything to dislike but of course there is always room to grow and the employees at Bynder really listen to what the customers have to say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Within a period of three months from beginning to use Bynder, we totally redefined our collaboration processes. The communication with our external ad agency was successfully moved to Bynder, removing ineffective email conversations and freeing more resources. Digital assets can now be easily shared with the smart collection functionality and we now have one centralized user-friendly platform to provide images of staff events and happenings all over the company—thereby improving company culture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Prepare well and think about the taxonomy before importing assets. Learn from others and you can do that through the Bynder Champions program.

Bynder & Brand Portal review

  • January 25, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having all assets, real-time visual brand guidelines, workflows at one place makes this a great tool for colleagues and partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom build implementations may have some extra time or costs, in the co-operation (also from our side) we can actively improve this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Facilitating of our brand assets and the right use of the guidelines does not have to be explained anymore by a specialist, but also can be found by the users themselves. This is time efficient, real-time.

A media library that simplifies asset finding and sharing

  • January 25, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The system is intuitive and easy to use and the layout is clean and simple. The combination of custom filters and the search bar ensures that you can do a very targeted search. The fact that we can decide which filters are mandatory when a new asset is uploaded, is also very useful. In addition, we like the ability to include a pop-up copyright warning for copyrighted materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system can be slow to load, which can be frustrating for users who have to do a lot of searches. The collection system could be improved to be more easy to understand and to see the benefit of it. Many of our users struggle with using them effectively, even after repeated explanation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is a central media library where we can put all our stock images, own images (made for marketing purposes), videos, brochures and other marketing materials that everyone in the company can freely access. By being able to control the level of access people have (editing rights, admin rights,...), the platform allows a lot of flexibility while at the same time making sure that only a few people keep control over it. It also saves a lot of time for our marketing professionals because instead of having to search different kinds of storage places (intranet, OneDrive, ...) for a certain asset, it's all in Bynder and can be easily found by using the different search options.
