Bynder is amazing
What do you like best about the product?
The custom metadata properties help our team and colleges search for assets. I appreciate the collections and auto-tagging, and the ability to link it to Sitecore!
What do you dislike about the product?
You aren't able to send a link to a specific photo. It must be in a collection. I also think tags should not have to be all the same format (lowercase or uppercase).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a place for other colleagues to go to find and populate (upon review first lol) different assets. Makes searching for photos for our team more efficient, too.
A great asset and content management platform
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is really easy to use and lets me store, search and share my global content assets effectively, with great tagging, version control and the ability to host collections of content. We use it to store and manage all of our assets (from marketing content, brand assets and photography to core product materials and internal resources).
What do you dislike about the product?
I've not used the content creation workflows much - we tried one project using this feature but not everyone on the project was able to access the workflow or receive notifications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My content marketing team use it to keep a good track of current and archived content, and share content with our internal colleagues in easy-to-search collections. We find it's a good place to download templates for quick content creation, and to store and monitor use of content in global languages.

What do you like best about the product?
So. Many. Things! It is extremely user friendly for both heavy and casual users. Love the ability to curate collections of assets. Love the digital brand guidelines. Service from the Bynder team is top-notch. Team members are highly responsive and extremely knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. The platform is fantastic and there is nothing I can think of right now that could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now provide access to outside third parties to upload and download approved assets. The platform is easy to update, so it will be much easier for our team to keep it fresh for all users as compared to our current dated system. The "collections" feature also makes it easy to quickly create specific curated groups of assets for any situation.

Customization to make Bynder feel exclusive to your company is a BIG plus!
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like Bynder to sync with more software programs. Bynder search field cache should clear out if I clicked out of the Assets tab.

Better organization. More up-to-date look and feel.

What do you like best about the product?
The team was always knowledgeable during implementation and advised best practices for our business. I appreciated their quick work, guidance, and expertise as we developed our Digital Asset Management portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've received great feedback on the platform. There were some limitations with custom aspects I would have liked to see, but our team was excellent in finding alternative solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are upgrading our DAM platform to a more modern and easy-to-use system. We are excited to showcase this solution to our employees so they can have all access to our business assets.
The Winsupply team had an excellent experience with Cait and Anne helping us through the project.
What do you like best about the product?
I really love being able to search for images and logos without having to dig through folders to get to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The three things I do not like about Bynder is how complicated it is to create a PBT. It would be much easier with a streamlined process. The second thing I don't like is how the header isn't consistent on every page and the gear will disappear on some pages. The last thing I don't like, is there is no integration with Figma. As someone who uses Figma a lot more than the Adobe CC, it would be much faster to create a DBT in Figma rather than Photoshop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving with Bynder are having files scattered through several servers. It's much easier to go to Bynder and search for a category and quickly scan through the files that I may need.
Overall Great Partnership Throughout the Bynder Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder's platform is very customizable to your company's needs and offers users multiple ways to find the assets they're looking for. The team (Anne Silva & Renee Sprick) was very responsive and often provided multiple solutions to our questions. Overall, this is a huge improvement from our previous provider, and our users have echoed the same remarks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike is that we weren't able to fully customize the verbiage in the automated emails. That was literally the only down side which I'd say is a success.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our goal was to re-platform to a more user-friendly DAM that can scale across our organization. The main focus is to enable our sales and marketing teams with the most up-to-date content in one spot to drive revenue across the business.

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has done an fantastic job of helping create an organized and searchable single source of assets for our team. The overall platform and structure works really well to fit our needs!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the modules, including the templating ones, and some of the setting are not as flexible as I would like, so our technical needs weren't entirely met.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to connect our partners and customers with the content they need to be successful, automating what was once a manuel and heavy process. Thanks Bynder!
End of Initial Implementation review
What do you like best about the product?
A very detailed and systematic approach to onboarding. In the main, the product has delivered what we required and we do not feel that we have been oversold. The Taxonomy is key, and the Bynder Team and product help you to get it right for your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are 2 (minor) areas that are an issue for us. 1. An ability to extensive and uniquely customize the file name when extracting an image, i.e. when a retailer requires their SKU in the file name. and 2. The granularity of control that can and can't be enabled to users when transforming images from one format to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central asset bank, accessible to large parts of the company. We expect to increase efficiency in processes and strengthen our brand via the accessibility of approved content. Managing and sharing assets to & with our worldwide user domain, both internal and external. Also supporting direct delivery of images on our company websites.
Great team and platform
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder's team of professionals helped step by step with every process and workflow our company had to make the implementation process of the Bynder system very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the searching for assets and gathering of assets in Bynder could be a little more user-friendly. I wish you could mark an asset and search for another asset, and the 1st asset would still be marked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder's ability to crop images within the system and add multiple derivatives saves so much time. It allows our company to be more productive and not have to stop and handle those requests anymore.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I didn't know what I was missing with a digital asset management system until I started using Bynder.
