Bynder will make your life easier by Day 1.
What do you like best about the product?
Through the many meeting we had with Bynder before we ever signed, through to the hand over, Bynder has been extremely helpful with making sure all our use cases were spoken to. We appreciated the level of thoroughness and their patience with us in answering the many questions we had. Their technical support is knowledgeable and very professional, while still being personable. Our on-boarding team, Rob and Nate, were superb. They made us feel very comfortable with the weekly meetings and the implementation schedule. There is a lot of work that goes into creating something like this and through their coaching and guidance it felt far less daunting of a task. I look forward to our future with Bynder and their platform allowing our company to run the way we want it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were hoping for a few more customization features and options on the homepage. There were a few technical issues that came up during the implementation process, that were ironed out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our employees were saving assets in many different ways and many different locations. There was a lot of time spent tracking down assets from unknown locations and staff. Having them in a centralized location where we know: who uploaded, when it was uploaded, if it is still usable, what the asset is related to, which department is an asset for, what is new, what shouldn't be used for certain criteria, what content is in an asset, etc. It's an invaluable tool for time management and streamlining workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very effective to have meetings through the app. The connection and communication is amazing and the features also. I love that there is no time constrain and it links to your calendar very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The camera not always works as well and sometimes the connection can be a little tricky

It is very easy to have all the content in the platform as well as documents and communication

Amazing Onboard Process and Customer Service!
What do you like best about the product?
I very much appreciated Tony's thoroughness and ease of demonstrating how to set up our organization with the tool. The interface is amazing! Tony is extremely responsive and knowledgable with this product. I highly recommend the usage of Bynder!

I do not have any dislikes at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a global organization with many assets all over the place. Bynder allows us to keep them together, tag where appropriate, and give accessibility to team members all at once.

Bynder Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Our implementation manager, Caitlin Grant, was excellent. She was informative, helpful and patient. We moved from another DAM solution to Bynder and the transition was pretty seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, there is nothing that we dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have centralized all of our digital assets and searching for them in Bynder is a breeze.
The ultimate 1-Stop Shop DAM Tool
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is intuitive, user management is clean and integrates into Okta. Storage prices are reasonable for a cloud based system. Metrics on the back end help content marketers. Overall, a really helpful DAM tool that is being constantly improved and updated. There are some great modules that are available as add-ons as well. We use the Workflow and Brand assets modules and it really helps keep our org aligned with one powerful place for all assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we have issues or find errors it can take a few days to engage Bynder and get their help solving the issue. Most of the issues revolve around strange file types and the auto-encoding process on the back-end. We've also had problems with larger file sizes (25GB or bigger). A bit of a learning curve for admins and power users on the back-end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Telling our story as an org is important. And our creative teams do a wonderful job. But that's useless unless we have a powerful tool to actually deliver those assets to marketing teams in easy, intuitive, and quick ways. A DAM tool should not slow down content usage, but rather improve the content marketing experience. I feel Bynder does this. Also, the metrics on the back-end really help us see usage trends, e.g. should we keep telling a certain story or keep making a kind of content. It's really informed our content creation.

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is very customizable and their folks work with you to achieve the results that you're looking to accomplish.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a high level of complexity. But it is necessary to achieve proper results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling external access to our vast repository of graphical assets. The benefit is that we do not need to maintain the infrastructure to support the dissemination of the assets.

Take your time to get it right. You must set up your taxonomy correctly.
Bynder is a very intuitive and easy to use tool, I recommend it!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to search medias thanks to metadata (filters & tags). Sharing collections of medias easily is also a great upside of Bynder.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform doesn't offer a complete French translation, especially in the back office. That can be a barrier when the majority of your users are uneasy with English. We have to use sometimes both languages at the same time (e.g. the home page, the support window, the derivatives), but this is not very user-friendly.
A few small features are missing, but nothing blocking (e.g. the possibility to have a default copyright when uploading a media which doesn't have one).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all, all validated medias are located in one place. Thus, we can share them more easily with internal and external co-workers and on our websites.
Great product with an even better customer experience
What do you like best about the product?
We compared Bynder to a couple of other DAMs that were highly recommended. What made use choose Bynder over them was their the user experience and interaction design. But where they sealed the deal was the amazing customer service. With a special shoutout to Tony Smith, our implementation manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. We knew what we wanted and needer Bynder for and they made it a perfect fit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're building a legacy library for all our images on a global scale. These used to live on people's personal drives. Our organization has grown too large with a global reach to be able to have quick and full access.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the demo, think about what you want form the system as it can do a lot. And then work with that and your budget to get a system that works for you
Support Client Access to Content with Bynder
What do you like best about the product?
The Bynder DAM has helped us to support the marketing and sales teams by providing access to approved content for customers. Assets are reviewed and approved in the Workflow module before entering the Asset Bank so users are confident these assets are available for use in sales and education.
In addition, we have been been able to use Bynder's API integration to fulfill additional requests that are not offered directly through integrations.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Brandstore module does not deliver in the way users expect in relation to other similar platforms, however Bynder does have integrations that serve this purpose for e-commerce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Workflow module has eliminated the email chains and paper trails for keeping track of copy routing. The Smartfilters allow users to easily locate assets in one location rather than on a network. The most recently updated assets are always available so the use of outdated assets is no longer an issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Bynder can support every department and business unit within your organization through the use of its Asset Bank, Workflow Module and Print/Digital Templates. For companies in highly regulated industries, this is particularly helpful for tracking and ensure the most up to date assets are always available to users.
Outstanding searchability. Collections continue to be a challenge.
What do you like best about the product?
We selected Bynder after a thorough review process. Very satisfied throughout the sales process, implementation, and launch! We have a very responsive customer success manager and the product continues to grow in its usefulness throughout the company. It's so much easier to search for tagged assets in the DAM instead of rummaging through a share drive or trying to track everything with a spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product can be overwhelming to new users, this is true for admins in particular. Plan to spend several hours, and perhaps days or weeks, developing best practices and conducting training sessions for users. Product support can be slow to respond when there is a bug or a technical issue to resolve. The way that Collections were designed is one of the greatest challenges for us. The way that you share a Collection is either by creating a public link, sharing a unique link via email, or creating accounts for each person to view/download/manage a collection. We've spent a lot of time trying to get share a collection only to find that some users have access to everything on the DAM instead of just the assets in the collection. Most of the product setup is configured during implementation, and the team was very thorough in our experience--but as with any new system, there is definitely a learning curve. What you don't know or don't think of prior to launch may be difficult to figure out after launch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No more lost files or vexing version issues! We love that we can quickly upload our marketing and advertising assets, tag with relevant search terms, track usage, and share inside and outside of the organization. We found an immediate benefit in setting up Collections to house related assets which be shared across different permission levels, especially with external partners and agencies.
