Bynder is easy to use, offers fast and adequate customers service and is highly customizable
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is easy for everyone to use, the filter possibilities are various and the algorithm when searching certain keywords is a nice addition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding users is pretty expensive. I think this will stop the full integration within our company. We want to add more people as users but the price is holding us back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing documents & marketing assets to collaborate with our remote teams and building our own database. Also, we are using Bynder as a Content Delivery Network to feed our digital touchpoints.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a DAM system that is easy to use, configure, and makes it possible to collaborate and share media files, Bynder is a great product for you. We are also using it as a CDN, it optimizes the ROI and simplifies the work process.
Working in Bynder was as if they were part of our internal team.
What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration & support of the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The delay to receive reports sometimes takes too long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized all content of our firm, enable +10k users to share content across +80 countries.
Bynder offers a solid product and great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
The customer facing portal is easy to set up and looks nice. I love the lightbox functionality allowing assets to be distributed and shared with different groups without duplicating assets within the dam. There is a "single source of truth" for all assets now. My favorite part is that we have connected it to our website via webDAM's api so all of our website images are kept in webDAM and managed from there. We don't have to upload separate images to our server, they are automatically synced over for use and automatically replaced if we update the asset in webDAM.
What do you dislike about the product?
While overall, the product is solid, there are random bugs that will occur. I've had permissions reset a couple times making assets available to groups they shouldn't be. I've also found that it's hard to bulk download folders over a certain size. They are working on a fix. The biggest reason I rated Bynder so highly despite issues we've faced is that their customer support is second to none. They always help right away and get a fix or figure out a way to accomplish what you need. It's definitely not a perfect product, but I've been with them since the beginning and the foundations are now more polished. They are also working on interesting new features and integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As stated above, the best part about having this DAM is the "single source of truth" for all our assets. We serve many B2B customers and this makes it seamless to support them with the content they need. It keeps us organized as a team in locating and sharing assets. Finally, it is the hub of all our web content and is connected to our site via the API. This has allowed us to upload new asset versions and not have to think about every location on the website where we need to swap out the image. It happens automatically. It's not a perfect system, but for the amount of manual work we (I) have relieved the web team (me! ;) ) versus the occasional glitches, I would say it was well worth it. It took some time, effort and pains to get to where we are now, but that's how it goes putting any kind of large interdepartmental infrastructure in place.
Solid product, best for mid to large businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Clean, easy-to-navigate and simple interface. It is easy to learn the system as a user and the branding is beautiful and clean.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing assets with staff members or external vendors is confusing for those people. If you're a regular user working with assets frequently, it is a great product. But for those who just need to pop in occassionally, it is overwhelming and/or not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset storage and tagging/filtering to find what we need more quickly. Having everything securely stored in one place has been great for our organization. We are also now able to locate files much more quickly using the different metaproperties and tags we've created. The cropping tool has been really helpful as well as the ability to group and share assets together.
A user-friendly database for all digital assets
What do you like best about the product?
That fact that it's very advanced in how to tag and store assets. The sharing with both internal and external contacts. The collections to create series of pictures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search result isn't always reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place to store all assets. Saves time. Showcasing our assets on other platforms through Bynder, such as screens.
Super helpful and a great organization!

What do you dislike about the product?
The time zone makes it a little difficult but nothing else.

I've solved problems with account accesses and have benefited from the variety of ways I can setup my customer's WebDam accounts.

Bynder is great!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can make collections on Bynder and it's super easy to share and store multiple assets at once. We used to have assets stored in multiple locations on a server that could only really be accessed in the office but now we can access our assets from almost anywhere easily. Bynder also allows us to compress files so they're uploadable to our ECOM site.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of glitches and I would love it if you were able to organize assets better. We also had a hard time when building the DAM with our partner from the Bynder team that they kept insisting we meet for weekly meetings and delaying the launch of the DAM when nothing changed from week to week. I would recommend having once a month meetings where the Bynder team and the company are able to work together to review and implement the site. I would also recommend having an option to make folders so that all of the assets are not just stored in one location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Photo and asset sharing across our company. It's great to have everything in one place and that everyone gets their own unique login information. It has also reduced the number of emails we have received from other teams within the company requesting repeat assets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pay attention when building out your categories.
