proprietary trap
What do you like best about the product?
The sales pitch about the holy grail of record and playback is totally impressive, however in reality it's only useful 50 percent of the time, the rest of the time you have to spend it fixing the gaps that the tool doesn't fix. . The reality is that the tests do not heal themselves under any circumstance, neither with AI nor ML or image deeplearning or any other fashionable tool, they can try but always sacrificing more time and not necessarily obtaining the expected result.
What do you dislike about the product?
The generated code cannot be exported. The integration with github is unidirectional, that is, you can only import information from github to testim. You can't change provider.it is difficult to create custom components. the tests created are fragile and do not always work (flaky test). many results are generated as false positives. Currently it is not a scalable solution for mobile devices, for now it is only possible to use your own mobile devices. Code reuse is not easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the fact of avoiding writing code
It has not benefited me at all, since I need to create even more complex code to fill in the imperfections and deficiencies of testim, so every time I give effort and knowledge which is hidden for anyone else who might need it.

Applying a complex javascript function to a test is something I struggle with.
Sometimes the UI lags when the test grows large, causing inefficient workflow.

You cannot move multiple test cases one-shot; sometimes, the locator is not easy to edit. Also, the test sometimes returns a false error because of the wrong behavior of the locator.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Testim is approachable to users who have never written an automated test, and robust enough to handle custom code that experienced testers and developers can pass through. Also they have an incredible online slack community open to not just Testim users, but anyone. I think that's pretty awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried to come up with something negative I could say about Testim. But I can't. The team is always on alert and happy to help the end users, so if there ever was an issue they are very quick to address it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Testim to automate our most critical manual scripts to decrease the amount of time it takes to do a full regression when we make big changes. We also automate our high risk manual tests, and are slowly building up our end to end regression.
Easy to use, easy to integrate, Easy to maintain
What do you like best about the product?
Everything, Testim onboarding process is very supportive and it went smoothly. Once we have got the hang of it, writing tests was a breeze and allowed us to focus on the quality of our product and development rather than focusing on solving issues with our automation and spending a lot of time writing E2E tests. Other than that, it allowed us to scale our team in terms of development velocity since now we don't need a designated dev to write these kinds of tests.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes they have a few bugs with their features, but their support team is always available and answeres quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great experience, easy to use, and it really works! if the SLA of your piece of software is important for you, then have no second thoughts regarding this great product and service. there's just no way you can reach this level of robustness and ease of use when developing your own Selenium-based framework.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's very quick and easy to build a successful automation infrastructure that finds bugs in our product
What do you dislike about the product?
1. For me missing the option to see the overall network logs per all tests that ran. It can be a very good feature for testing. Even if test passed, sometimes there are some bad network responses that can be good to examine them
2. Missing option to see the failed test that passed in rerun
