What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fivetran is solving us the problem of having to manage a Data Engineer and solves us the need to manage separate self hosted pipeline to extract data from multiple sources.

Users can set up and manage data pipelines with minimal technical expertise.
Fivetran supports near real-time data syncing, which is crucial for making timely decisions based on the most current data.
It can handle large volumes of data and scale as your data needs grow. This scalability ensures that performance remains consistent even as data complexity and volume increase.

What do you dislike about the product?
Relying on Fivetran means depending on a third-party service for critical data workflows. If there are outages or issues on their end, it could impact your data integration processes.

What do you dislike about the product?
A bit pricey. I would like an option with few sources at a lower cost

Data sync across systems and flexibility on what to sync and when to sync

What do you like best about the product?
Fivetran has provided us with a no code solution to extracting data into our databases and data warehouses, and has hugely simplified our data architecture and improved security. We have been able to easily integrate new systems using their out of the box connectors, allowing us to focus on the data transformation process instead of building out and monitoring the data pipelines, and it has become an integral part of our day to day operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't support all of our systems yet, although the Fivetran team have done excellent work on narrowing this list over the years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting data from our systems into our data warehouse, without having to worry about building out and maintaining the pipeline.
Works well to send data back from Snowflake to marketing platforms
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to implement and configure. It reads all the journal entries and data capture changes from the data warehouse and is able to send events to various marketing platforms. We used that to send marketing communications to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the tool is still pretty young. The number of SaaS tools it connects to is still somewhat limited. Also the configuration options for some tools such as Mailchimp is again quite limited, it may not covered all business cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reverse ETL - We stored all data into Snowflake and created rules for sending data to marketing tools. We were able to integrate multiple SaaS systems this way that did not talk to each other previously.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use is it's plus point for me. No technical skills are required for using it as reverse ETL tool. Customer support is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a very complex tool with tons of features. But It does what it supposed to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it as reverse ETL solution provider. It reads data from our database and load it to different apps like Salesforce, Pendo etc. It reduced our overall timeline for any data feed to apps.
Excellent, easy to use, business critical tool
What do you like best about the product?
Super user-friendly, shows error messages, great customer service. We have set up daily jobs and connected to Looker, SQL, Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI capabilities would be great to troubleshoot jobs but otherwise none really

Census is a great product for bridging the gap between your product data and CRM
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and easy to set up. Census helped us integrate our product data into our CRM so we can drive better actions across the board.

Nothing. The team has been nothing but great to ours and helping us get set up and running on Census

Bridging the gap between our CRM data and product data and joining it with other sources

What do you like best about the product?
Census is really simple to use, easy to understand as a use case, and quick to get setup and start receiving value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features involving users outside the Data teams are harder to implement in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to push data from our warehouse into a number of downstream platforms to help support our Marketing/Support/RevOps/Sales/Engineering teams. I am able to provide a clear and valuable use case for this tool and it is really easy to show the value of the tool to other, non data savvy teams.
