Easy to Use, Sometimes Hard to Understand Problems

What do you like best about the product?
Once everything was setup, it has been remarkably easy to maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the connection to Salesforce could be pretty confusing, and the error logs weren't especially helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Loading Salesforce data on a schedule into our warehouse

clunky interface, difficult to manage column ordering in platform for exports

Love Census and how simple it is

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the simplicity of the tool - it's completely untangled our data streams and has helped teams from Rev ops to Demand Gen.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding is a little confusing, and could use some work in terms of explaining key concepts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cenus is allowing to connect our numerous data streams into one place. It has benefitted teams across our GTM and EPD orgs.

What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of Census are as follows
* Intuitive UI for scheduling jobs and creating new data sources
* Satisfactory alerting for when jobs break
* Relatively stable data writes to Google Sheets (which I predominantly use).
What do you dislike about the product?
* Columns don't always auto-calibrate when changing the data source/query
* Perception that there is not as much transparency around which G Sheets the data writes out to
* Not great ability to reduce sprawl with similar or outdated queries + jobs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of our organization relies on Google Sheets, so my team predominantly uses Census to refresh data into Google Sheets from our database so we can syndicate our data out to more users who aren't as SQL Savvy.

Working well for out of the box and custom connectors

What do you like best about the product?
There is a wide variety of out of the box connectors for hundreds of sources and they all seem to work pretty well. I also like there isn't a charge on a per connector basis, it's based on rows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer connector setup works fine, however it takes a fair of technical work to write Lambda and integrate with FiveTran, I wonder if there could be a framework that could provide which would just work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FiveTran is bringing data in for 4 different sources using out of the box connectors, we also write 2 of our custom connectors, to pull data from the source into our warehouse on a daily basis.

Very straight-forward and intuitive to use

What do you like best about the product?
- Setting up a new connector is very simple, never seen it in such an easy way
- During the trial and when trialing a new connector I love the usage estimator
- Documentation is very good and very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
- Quite some time for some connectors to understand how the data is structured (e.g. Hubspot does not match completely with the UI of the tool unless you apply some filtering)
- Setting up custom connectors not as intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for no code data extraction and modelling (pre-built dbt models that can be used) which is very intuitive and straight-forward even for a business user without engineering knowledge.

What do you like best about the product?
Census is really easy and simple to use. It's really quick to send data to tools such as Zendesk, Hubspot, Salesforce etc. It's also been really easy to implement at our company.

We've been mainly using it with Hubspot and so far, so good!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can sometimes require going back and forth between HubSpot's documentation and Census' documentation to troubleshoot something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pushing data into HubSpot.

Great experience using Census

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Census makes it for us to transfer properties and attributes to Klaviyo. This really helps our email marketing team with customer segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were a little easier to troubleshoot when there were run failures. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was the issue instead of actually fixing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census is helping us transfer our fields and attributes to other programs. It allows us to create segments and apply them to different tools across the super helpful organization. In my case, much of our product-based customer segmentation is easily transferred over to Klaviyo.

What do you like best about the product?
An easy-to-use interface where all integrations are easily viewable.
Intuitive set-up for new data integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
When integrations fail during a sync it is difficult to determine what the failure was caused by and how to repair the integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census has solved our problem of connecting data to our vendors in a secure and intuitive manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility in setting up models, entities, segements and syncs with our Data Warehouse
What do you dislike about the product?
Error messaging requires maturity but that's only because they've created a new connector for our specific business needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Activating all our first party data, which we have only used for emails but givng our digital marketing team and beyond the ability to generate customised and personlised customer lists at speed
