The service census provides is great and the customer support is responsive and great
What do you like best about the product?
The service itself. We don't need to integrate with 3rd party by ourselves. save eng resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's still some glitch for some integration. But the customer support is very helpful

It solves the problem of integrating with different marketing and sales tools. We save eng resources of integrating those APIs by ourselves

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy and intuitive interface of Census. The learning curve is very minimal and the tool is easy to pick up and run with. The number of sources and destinations offered are extensive and meet our business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you incorrectly set up a sync, it can be difficult to make changes to the sync without setting up an entirely new sync and deleting the original. Other than that, no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reverse ETL using Census has changed the game for our organization. The ability to get data in the hands of business users without requiring them to leave Salesforce has helped to make our org much more data-driven. Census has removed a layer of friction in that users have key data points where they want them, without having to log into or learn a new tool.
Great tool for analytics engineers
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setting up syncs and scheduling them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking for historical logs of the syncs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had issues managing and pushing data into our multiple systems. Census helped us solve this with ease.
Toolkit essential
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up syncs with Census has been very simple and essential to connecting my models nightly to SalesForce. I trust my synch as I am always notified if something goes awry. Reliable!
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to edit my synchs - there are situations where you must create an entirely new synch, which can get time-consuming. Also - I would like to be able to search for specific columns, more granular than the entire table.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to seamlessly link essential data for increased visibility across the company.

Easy to use console, clear documentation.

I haven't come across any areas I dislike at present.

Data extraction from sales force to a cdp
It was really easy to set up and does exactly what we want it to.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is intuitive and makes it easy to accomplish your tasks. Data is refreshed and it's really just a set it and forget it tool. I am very pleased and would recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think more connectors could always be better; it would be great to be able to build a custom connector as well. But overall I've enjoyed the tool quite a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pushing data from other systems into Salesforce so we can build bridges/links in our data warehouse. This has been gamechanging for us and how we do analytics!!!
Census is a wonder!
What do you like best about the product?
Census makes it very intuitive and straightforward when navigating their UI and performing reverse ETL with various tools. The amount of tools they offer is plenty and abundant.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved on is the ability to change the identifier without requiring to set up the entire sync. However, I can imagine this to be a bit technically challenging.

The problem Census is solving for us is reverse ETL: Taking completely modeled data and shoving it back into Salesforce so we can use Salesforce and real-time data from our product at the same time
Simple and reliable reverse ETL
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to sync data to external systems. It is one less thing for engineers to worry about and generally sits in an area for which companies don't assign responsibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few eternal vendors we wanted to sync to but were not available as an integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had data engineering take care of reverse ETL by writing manual scripts. It is a cumbersome problem and requires long-term maintenance. Also requires learning the API of external vendors, which can change.

The data is patchy/the integration is better than others but could be better.
