Great product solving real issues

What do you like best about the product?
Census is very user-friendly and easy to configure. I use it on a weekly basis and it is always a great experience. Also, the alerts for when a sync fails are very helpful so you can fix them on the spot and not compromise the data being pushed back into systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, I do not dislike any functionality of Census. It has always accomplished everything I needed it to do and since the first time I used it is seemed clear what needed to be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Direct connection with Salesforce is the main use at my company and it solved a big issue which is giving Sales and Customer Success people the access to the data they need right into the account object so they do not need to move to another system in order to the get that info.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automated sync using cron functionality, along with the ability to easily map fields from BigQuery --> Hubspot - it makes my job easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the troubleshooting functionality when uploads fail - it'd be nice to receive more proactive support in these situations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census is solving our ability to unify our systems and create easier access to data. There should be significant long-term benefits from this system as we scale the business.

What do you like best about the product?
It has zero upkeep since it is all automated
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it is very simple and straightforward
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has eliminated the need to maintain custom code for integrations between different systems. This helps me focus more on analytics and not engineering.

What do you like best about the product?
It's proven itself to be a reliable tool for delivering reverse ETL. SaaS businesses are at their best when they focus on core functionality. I also have benefitted from the automated alerts system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as scalable as other tools - I've hit caps on the number of cells that can be updated for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling operational teams to see and review large scale data usually only available to technical users. It creates a lot more leverage in the organisation by enabling non-technical customers to perform better.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy, little or no code solution. We sync data in our databases to Salesforce and can have non-technical people own these processes. Very strong tool that we rely on
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, think it's pretty great. Maybe They could support more tools but they already have a plethora of tools that they cover and sync too. Or they could also have their 'Success' records sync be downloadable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a very strong no to low code solution for syncing data between databases and tools. We sync data from databases to Salesforce and other platforms with ease.

Census works! New features / integrations frequently, but could be better on observability

What do you like best about the product?
There are quite a few integrations and they're always adding more. We were able to solve a significant administrative issue (product utilization) by writing SQL logic that updates Salesforce, saving our Customer Success team hours every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
They're working on their pricing structure and some of their observability features that should be part of the basic paid aren't. Knowing when errors occur, how to resolve them, etc. would be nice to have features.

Sometimes sync fails for no specific reason but usually resolves itself

We have data stored in various tools/systems and this is helpful in getting everything to sync together

Reliable fast moving ETL service

What do you like best about the product?
They were very fast to deliver an integration that we were looking for when we were missing it initially during our trial period, and had professional and quick response times on any questions we had.
What do you dislike about the product?
A downside is they haven't yet got an integration with all of the services in use at our company for which we would like to setup a Census sync, but that is something that might change given time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting the data that we collected into the services and applications in use by the various teams within our company, and have these syncs setup in a developer and maintenace friendly way.

What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy to get your data from a db to other tools or from other tools to your db. An example:
- Syncing properties into marketing automation tool (e.g. Customer.io) from Snowflake
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, if you aren't familiar with the data space it can be a little difficult to get started, but I've tried out other "Reverse ETL" tools in the space and Census seems like the easiest to get started with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting useful data from your data warehouse to other tools that could benefit. Marketing automation is the use case that I've run into the most. Being able to know if a person did certain actions in-product can inform what emails they get, and make the experience feel more personalized and useful for them.

Great UX and intuitive design

What do you like best about the product?
The excellent UI and UX make the tool easy to pick up quickly and understand. Having never used Census before I was able to log in and fix an issue with a sync within just a few minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not able to solve an error alone with a new sync due to a type case error and had to reach out to the census support team. In the end the error turned out to be different from the what was displayed in Census, so it made troubleshooting difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to create models in our DWH and send that output back to our CRM Tool Klaviyo easily. So Census is acting a reverse ETL tool for us.
