Census is easy-to-use and very powerful, and so has become an integral part of our data tech stack.
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how straightforward Census is to use, especially when setting up a new connection. It's very much a plug-and-play tool, which is so useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've found modifying existing connections to be a bit tricky, especially when there are platform changes in between the initial set up of the connector and modifying it. E.g., I recently wanted to modify a connector that had a 'Create only' matching rule and create a new connector with the same matching rule, but that rule had been removed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syncing data from our data warehouse into existing tools. In particular, we use Census to populate fields in Mixpanel and Hubspot, which means that we can utilise a lot of the existing reporting tools in those two apps without having to create our own reports all the time.

Great simple solution making it easy to self-service.

Haven't had much to dislike so far, good enough for our use cases.

Easy and secure way to self-serve data sync without the need to involve an engineering team with various tools and platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
Census is robust, relatively easy to use/maintain, and solves an important problem for us that would otherwise be very difficult to solve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The two least user friendly aspects in my experience have been diagnosing errors and creating new upsert syncs. Diagnosing errors has been made significantly easier recently however with their API Inspector.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We take data from our CRM, combine it with other sources, and then Census lets us put the resulting data points back into the CRM. This means our customer-facing staff can draw insights and create reports from data points that would not otherwise exist, and this is very helpful.

Easy connector setup.
Queries with relative / calculated dates are easily pulled.
Processing speeds seem acceptable for now - still early days using the tool.

Not so much the tool limitation, however setting up a snowflake connector required adding multiple tables / permissions to snowflake to allow this to work.
Made the IT department a little uneasy - monitoring performance and serve usage for now.

Integrating snowflake with the facebook api and gsheets.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. There's plenty of connectors to use (atleast the main ones exist).

What do you dislike about the product?
Logging in via SSO is confusing UX. There's a login box with User/Pass fields - which looks nothing like an SSO box. Then after putting an SSO verifiable e-mail the Password field disappears and you can sign in via SSO. This took me some time to find out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Census to sync product data from the data-warehouse into Salesforce for the following: Account Prospecting, Account maintainence and support, Sales performance.

What do you like best about the product?
Census was really easy for us to setup and start solving data flows with. It's become a core part of our tool stack. The UI is intuative and the tool was able to make the connections we needed between AWS, BigQuery, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support can sometimes take a little longer to come back on requests which can cause delays. Not a major issue, and probably more driven by us being a faster organization that wants answers immediately

Makes the connection of data super simple. We have so much information floating around and census has accelerated our centralizing of data giving us better access to a single-source of truth

The best feature is the wide array of integrations. Along with the wide range, the ease of setting up the integrations is also a great plus. It's truly a seamless tool.

Quick integrations with other third-party tools, which is helping solve some key business use-cases. Has also helped in reducing the time to implement projects due to the seamless integration options.
