Census is too easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Census helps us deliver the correct data to the right people without the need to use programmatic approaches; we speed out how we handle the decisions with Census.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably we need to speed up the learning curve but it's ok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census allows us to consolidate and distribute a large amount of data to the proper people and help to make better decisions about our business with flexibility.

What do you like best about the product?
Census is really easy and simple to use. It's really quick to send data to tools such as Zendesk, Hubspot, Salesforce etc. It's also been really easy to implement at our company.

Can sometimes require going back and forth between HubSpot's documentation and Census' documentation to troubleshoot something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pushing data into HubSpot.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Census makes it for us to transfer properties and attributes to Klaviyo. This really helps our email marketing team with customer segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were a little easier to troubleshoot when there were run failures. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was the issue instead of actually fixing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census is helping us transfer our fields and attributes to other programs. It allows us to create segments and apply them to different tools across the super helpful organization. In my case, much of our product-based customer segmentation is easily transferred over to Klaviyo.

When integrations fail during a sync it is difficult to determine what the failure was caused by and how to repair the integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census has solved our problem of connecting data to our vendors in a secure and intuitive manner.

What do you like best about the product?
There are advantages I see everyday and interact with when it comes to Fivetran. Writing this review, I would pay attention to the details of the Fivetran in a positive tone.
I like the way we interact with the connectors. This is because Fivetran provides pre-built connectors for over 100 data sources, with databases, SaaS applications, cloud storage, and more. I can't not mention the Automated Data Pipelines. It means Fivetran automatically ingests, transforms, and loads data into the data warehouse, eliminating the need for manual data integration.

Pricing. Its pricing model is based on the amount of data being processed, which makes it more expensive compared to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Fivetran, we centralize data from many sources, such as databases, cloud applications, and local systems. Fivetran uses a fully managed method of data integration that does not require maintenance, which means that you do not need to spend time and resources on manual maintenance and updating of data connectors. This means that our data is automatically converted, downloaded and updated, allowing our company to access clean, accurate and complete data in real time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Enabling the feature to write programming code. eg , python will help to connect application that does not have ready-made connectors available within the fivetran product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are cases where the business team wanted to extract data from their application. Even though there is an expect in building pipelines, they find using Fivetran a straightforward tool for the data extraction process!
The combination of Census onboarding, ease of use and dedicated success team has been fantastic

Flexibility in setting up models, entities, segements and syncs with our Data Warehouse

Error messaging requires maturity but that's only because they've created a new connector for our specific business needs

Activating all our first party data, which we have only used for emails but givng our digital marketing team and beyond the ability to generate customised and personlised customer lists at speed
Tool for Anything and Everything Data
What do you like best about the product?
Census has helped us to use data operations easily and effectively with the help of data modelling functions. We are able to effectively use data and get insights out of it from various sources easily, which won’t be an easy task without it. The feature which I like personally is the analytics and reports which are provided and provides great understanding to the data and allowing data transfer across different clouds and sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation and set-up time is something which consumes a lot of time which we dislike and required a lot of times, another thing which I dislike is the compatibility with various data sources and limitations on functionality part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census helped integration of data from various data sources, allowing an easy and efficient Sync from all the sources integrated, helping us to get consistent and accurate data irrespective of large and complex data sets allowing to use it the way we need by easy transformations and reshaping.

nothing specific, quite happy with cences!

it helps to sync data from our warehouse to a few other products we use e.g. hubspot, mixpanel
Easy to sync Data Warehouse code to third parties
What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is to connect Census to a Data Source, and then upsert that data into third parties. Configuring the SQL schema and setting firewall exemptions only took a few hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial syncs can take quite a long time with larger data sets. Our initial sync took around 10 hours for ~40k objects. Subsequent syncs are much faster, so this isn't so bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our third-party vendor data in sync with our internal data warehouse. Having to write this software in-house would have taken significant resources, while using Census took hours.
