What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use and has a great user experience. Actually I find Fivetran the best online tool in relevant field.

Bunch if emails which spams my inbox all the time. ))
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transfering data into postgres and also cool thing is that fivetran has a connector for zoho crm.
Reliable Extraction tool with a good number of integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Connecting data sources is easy and reliable once when the connection is made. There are hardly any syncs that fail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Less number of integrations on the engineering tooling space. Like say bitbucket, clickup etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fivetran helps us build integrations with our platform in minutes instead of weeks.
Intuitive, simple tool for DIY data pipeline
What do you like best about the product?
Census allowed me, a fairly non-technical marketing exec, to create the report I needed within an hour using the tools I was already familiar with and basic SQL.
The UI was fairly intuitive and the help center was actually helpful solving the issues I had.
Additionally, our analytics team also gets a ton of value from Census creating new data pipelines easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model is confusing -- even after review, we don't understand exactly what we are paying for. The biggest obstacle we've actually had is figuring out if new reports will add to our bill. Despite this, we still got an unforeseen price increase and had to go back and remove fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use census to connect a number of platforms without having a dedicated data engineering team. In particular, we use the connection between Pipedrive, BigQuery and Google Sheets to develop most of our standardized reporting.
Intuitive, powerful and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
After trying a handful of other ETL/ELT tools, it is amazing how intuitive it is to connect sources to your warehouse and start streaming data. We've been able to sync data at a very low latency and with very low costs, thanks to the MAR pricing model.
What do you dislike about the product?
The difficulty of building custom connectors is an issue, as you'd need to have programming experience. Though I hear an easier option for creating custom connectors is on the horizon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving data out of SaaS apps and other internal data sources into a warehouse in order to transform, model, and blend it together in the least anount of time possible - and at a very low cost

Mostly the pricing as Fivetran quickly becomes expensive for huge data sources like GA or Amplitude

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who considers themselves SQL literate, I found the tool very easy to use. I manage out GTM tech stack and Census has been critical in us leveraging product data to optimize our GTM motion.
The team itself is also amazing. They're always willing to help, brainstorm ideas, and share best practices.

Nothing really to mention at the moment. The product itself is always growing and anytime I've submitted feedback it's been reviewed and implemented quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a PLG company and on the revenue side, we are most successful when we can leverage product data.
Census helps us with two critical use cases:
1) moving critical product funnel data to other GTM systems to enable Sales/Marketing tactics and reporting and
2) moving usage data to our consumption billing tools, helping to automate our billing process.

The connection to apple store is not the best, but I think it is from apple side.

Lots of integrations, and it is really easy to set up.

Pricing is a bit complicated to figure out fully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fivetran takes care of extracting/loading my data and makes sure it keeps running smoothly over time.
Decent tool that will save your analytic's department time
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to start, you don't need to talk to any sales reps, just create your account and start using this service. Free trial for each new connector – cool feature that gives you enough time to understand whatever everything works as you planned or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little bit pricey. The most disturbing thing is that you can't optimise data usage for some of the connectors, it's just impossible to 'unclick' it in the interface, so the data will be synced anyway which will increase your usage and your overall monthly price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to set up ETL quickly without coding, just by clicking. It's definitely a huge time saver for me.

What do you like best about the product?
Fivetran composes of a wide range of data connectors with very clear and good documentation and instructions for each of them.
I have used their connector to transfer data from Salesforce to Azure SQL database. I can easily follow their instructions to set up their connection without any knowledge in their underlying applications and APIs.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some data connectors that are missing and their product timeline is not respected. For example, I asked for a data connector on Microsoft Dynamics 365 in Q2 this year. At that time they told me that it is on their roadmap for Q3 2022. However the connector is still not ready today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are working on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 data connector.
It has been very difficult to connect this application to any database as Microsoft offers a relatively closed system in data interface.
