Extremely easy way to get your data to the people who need it most!

What do you like best about the product?
Great no-code way to get data into apps like Salesforce, Braze, Criteo, or any one of their integrations. You connect to your SQL database, write a Census in query, map the source and destination fields, and set a schedule for the sync.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small sync failures used to be semi-common. But recently, it hasn't been an issue. They've done a good job supporting the product and improving it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reverse ELT. Getting data out of our data warehouse and into applications our business uses. Biggest use case for us is Braze and Salesforce.

What do you like best about the product?
Census is intuitive. I support census mostly from the data side (I feed the underlying tables into census), so occasionally, a stakeholder runs into a technical issue, and I have to resolve it. I'm able to quickly jump in without a big learning curve
What do you dislike about the product?
Not great documentation. Looking around for how to use census different functionalities doesn't seem natural, and I don't find excellent documentation. Also, seems like a really manual tool, wish there so some more advanced flexibility so user could automate repeated tasks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves our issue of feeding data into hubspot.

What do you like best about the product?
* UI is intuitive and easy to understand.
* API Debugger within the Census UI helps us to identify issues quickly.
* Amazing support from Census' team.
* Census listens & takes action -- Census' team turns your product feedback into features (Ask them for examples!)
What do you dislike about the product?
* Lack of version control (Git sync), detailed audit log and the ability to reverse changes
* Lack of granular role management - I'd love to control who has access/can do what in what tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census is a robust RETL tool that abstracts data team away from all the integration works needed when shipping data to third-party tools (Rate limiting, field mapping, translation, change delta capture), so, as a data engineering team, we can focus on generating & building out datasets, rather than figuring out, for example, how to write a Python code to call a third-party API and figure out how to handle rate limiting/outages gracefully.

What do you like best about the product?
1. It has all the sources and destinations that I need
2. The documentation is very helpful
3. The editor is very intuitive
4. Email alerts/notifications are a lifesaver
What do you dislike about the product?
1. There is a bit of a learning curve
2. No dbt support
3. It could be faster (although this is more of a nice to have)
4. It's very opinionated now. I would prefer it allow more of a "building blocks" approach to some pipelines
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data about our marketing and sales efforts sit in disparate B2B systems and the data warehouse due to the operational complexity of our business. Census saves us 100s of hours in building custom data pipelines

What do you like best about the product?
Census connects to all the destinations that we need. Configuring syncs is easy, and the platform has been reliable. The Census team has been fast, responsive, and exceedingly helpful when we needed support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they let you download the complete set of sync error logs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census lets us get data into crucial business tools without integrating with each tool's API directly.

What do you like best about the product?
Helps us push information from our data warehouse to salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the fields act funky and show you old API names and then you refresh and it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census helps us connect our billing information to SFDC so we can update customer information like if they are active, or if the customer is past due ect.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm not hugely familiar but have worked with our team recently to connect and pull in inputs from our main platform into our support function which has been huge
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far! It's been a pretty smooth process and overall easy to utilize, so no complaints! Our analytics team raves about it and pushes us all to utilize as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us get to our customer data faster within our customer support platform. Knowing more details on who our customers are to better serve them on a daily basis.

Fantastic Reverse ETL tool

What do you like best about the product?
We use Census to push data from our data warehoues (BigQuery) to third party tools like HubSpot and Salesforce. We've never run into any issues with Census and its UI is simple and intuitive. Love how focused and reliable the product is.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike about Census. Everyone at the company on the data team as well as those on other teams (marketing, sales) that rely on the data are huge fans. So glad we're no longer using Zapier for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census lets us update data in HubSpot and Salesforce with data that we have in our data warehouse, BigQuery. This ensures that marketing and sales have easy access to all of the relevant data points about our customers and users.
