We only use Census to integrate Snowflake with Salesforce. Works well for that.
What do you like best about the product?
Helps us push information from our data warehouse to salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the fields act funky and show you old API names and then you refresh and it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census helps us connect our billing information to SFDC so we can update customer information like if they are active, or if the customer is past due ect.
We've been able to connect a lot of our platforms which has really helped streamline our service
What do you like best about the product?
I'm not hugely familiar but have worked with our team recently to connect and pull in inputs from our main platform into our support function which has been huge
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far! It's been a pretty smooth process and overall easy to utilize, so no complaints! Our analytics team raves about it and pushes us all to utilize as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us get to our customer data faster within our customer support platform. Knowing more details on who our customers are to better serve them on a daily basis.
Fantastic Reverse ETL tool
What do you like best about the product?
We use Census to push data from our data warehoues (BigQuery) to third party tools like HubSpot and Salesforce. We've never run into any issues with Census and its UI is simple and intuitive. Love how focused and reliable the product is.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike about Census. Everyone at the company on the data team as well as those on other teams (marketing, sales) that rely on the data are huge fans. So glad we're no longer using Zapier for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census lets us update data in HubSpot and Salesforce with data that we have in our data warehouse, BigQuery. This ensures that marketing and sales have easy access to all of the relevant data points about our customers and users.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that we don't have to write a custom integration to connect our data warehouse to our applications. It's a huge time saver and allows us more freedom to experiment & add new things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot of things! There are a handful of integrations that I'd like them to add, but they are typically super responsive and add them pretty quickly. I hadn't set up my error notifications correctly, so I missed a handful of times when a sync broke. But the notifications are there, you just have to remember to customize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of being difficult/manual to connect the data in our Snowflake data warehouse to other tools that we use. This enables to do so much more with our data - connecting it to marketing automation tools to send more intelligent/relevant emails to our users, and to our CRM so sales reps know which users are most active in our product, and so much more.
I really liked using Census. It helps provide scalability between dbt and Salesforce

Syncing our customers across all channels. We have a huge customer database and want to ensure we're marketing to the same cohorts across all channels. Creates an omni-channel experience.

The Census functions are very simple on the first time to implement this product and the training curve is very short and enjoyable process of tools manipulation and easy navigation.

Quick to Set up - very well integrated
What do you like best about the product?
Speedy for the data team to set up and connects perfectly with snowflake. We have been able to move into BI tooling quickly as a result of building this layer.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints of the software at this time and the integrations and onboarding team have been excellent.

Connecting and data with snowflake and handling ELT and DBT.
