What do you dislike about the product?
- Doesn't integrate with specific tools, so check before purchasing if your tools integrate
- Building a connector is significant work, although I have never tested this directly
- It is challenging to edit certain aspects of a connector, but since it's so easy to set up a new one, this isn't a big deal
- Recovery from a connection that wasn't correctly setup can be extensive

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reverse ETL - sending data from multiple sources that have been cleaned and transformed back into critical software to present to the rest of the company. This allows users to get the information they need in one place.
Toolkit essential
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up syncs with Census has been very simple and essential to connecting my models nightly to SalesForce. I trust my synch as I am always notified if something goes awry. Reliable!
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to edit my synchs - there are situations where you must create an entirely new synch, which can get time-consuming. Also - I would like to be able to search for specific columns, more granular than the entire table.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to seamlessly link essential data for increased visibility across the company.
Quick and easy way to sync data from DWH to business systems
What do you like best about the product?
I'm not a primary user of Census, but I do admin a connected business system that relies on product data to function. Census is one of the quickest and easiest ways I've ever used to get product data from a data warehouse to a connected system. I don't even know SQL, but I was able to modify a query that our data team outlined for me to test and deploy a sync in under half a day. I'm looking forward to learning basic SQL so that I can start self-serving the data my team needs through Census.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest con of Census currently is not knowing SQL, which is just a gap in my skill set. Once I build knowledge of basic SQL, I don't think I'll have many complaints about the system. Of course, the usability of Census is dependent upon the cleanliness and organization of our DWH, which could use some work, but that's our problem. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Census to push product usage data from our data warehouse into a connected business system. There, we use the data to measure and score customer health, drive action to customer-facing teams, and visualize product usage in the system our reps are working in.
Census implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use console, clear documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across any areas I dislike at present.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data extraction from sales force to a cdp
Census is essentially doing my job
What do you like best about the product?
Census makes data so much more accessible to our CRM. Our RevOps and marketing team can get all the data from our warehouse into Salesforce, with very minimal work on my end.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had an overwhelmingly positive experience with census. One small thing I wish was available was the ability to clone whole syncs or configurations. A lot of the time we'll set something up with a sandbox environment first for QA. It would remove the redundant work of having to do the exact same thing for another destination, but it is a minor inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unlocking more insights in salesforce, helping us tie important data to our ad audiences, and ultimately making our data warehouse a bit more accessible without having to grant local permissions to a number of users.
Good Reverse ETL Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The fastest and easiest way to send data to Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a good question but still need to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timely data records push to different instances helps the team to deliver things on time.
It was really easy to set up and does exactly what we want it to.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is intuitive and makes it easy to accomplish your tasks. Data is refreshed and it's really just a set it and forget it tool. I am very pleased and would recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think more connectors could always be better; it would be great to be able to build a custom connector as well. But overall I've enjoyed the tool quite a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pushing data from other systems into Salesforce so we can build bridges/links in our data warehouse. This has been gamechanging for us and how we do analytics!!!
Easy and efficient way to move data
What do you like best about the product?
The error logs and messages are easy to access. Failure retry has also made our error counts fall
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, there is nothing I particularly dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census allows us to move data from our warehouse to all of our commercial tools. This means all of our data is consistent across platforms
Great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visibility to all the connections and the alerts if a sync fails. Also, the tool is very user-friendly, which is super helpful for non-technical folks!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I outright dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Census allows us to load more data from our product into our marketing automation tools. This will enable marketers to target users easily. It allows for more product-usage data, which leads to less time focusing on the targeting and more time on the offers we want to to put in front of users.
Census is a wonder!
What do you like best about the product?
Census makes it very intuitive and straightforward when navigating their UI and performing reverse ETL with various tools. The amount of tools they offer is plenty and abundant.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved on is the ability to change the identifier without requiring to set up the entire sync. However, I can imagine this to be a bit technically challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem Census is solving for us is reverse ETL: Taking completely modeled data and shoving it back into Salesforce so we can use Salesforce and real-time data from our product at the same time
